  • This paper is to research for construction of the longest open toped steel box girder composite bridge using precast concrete deck in the country. This type bridge can bring down the construction costs by reducing the steel's weight used it's girders. And, it also can reduce working hours for construction over 6months by applying the precast deck system. I will introduce the process of construction the longest this type bridge within the country named Seochon Bridge

  • The objective of this research is to use an analytical and experimental approach to develop optimal tool geometry for high speed machining. The tool geometry parameters and cutting process have complex relationships. Until now, numerous cutting tests were needed to acquire optimal design of endmill for the purpose of high speed machining, dut to the insufficient knowledge about process in high speed machining. In order to improve the cutting ability of endmill, a model for optimal cutter shape was developed to minimize resultant cutting force by combing cutting force and wear test and surface roughness test from optimized and conventional cutter with the same cutting condition. Using various tools with different geometry, relationships between the tool geometry parameter, rake angle, clearance angle, lengh of cutter have been stuied.

해수침투 우려지역에서 단일 시추공을 이용한 전기비저항탐사 적용

  • 안산시 단원구 대부동, 보령시 청소면 장곡리와 서천군 비인면 선도리의 해안가 4곳에서 전기비저항 탐사를 이용하여 해수침투 조사용 관측정 주변의 대수층구조와 해수침투여부를 파악하고자 하였다. 공내수의 심도별 전기전도도를 확인 해본 결과, 4개의 조사공에서 180-48,000$\mu$S/cm의 각기 다른 값을 보였으며, 전기비저항 검층의 결과에서는 16인치 Short-Normal 검층 0.5-19.28$\Omega$m, 64인치 Long-Normal 검층 1.36-47.45$\Omega$m 그리고 Lateral 검층에서는 0.16-6.69$\Omega$m의 값의 분포를 보였다. 이를 통해 해수에 의해 지하수 및 주변 지질이 완전히 오염된 관측정과 우려되거나 아직 해수침투가 일어나지 않은 관측정을 구분할 수가 있었다. 또한 시추공-지표간 토모그래피를 통해 관측정 주변의 개략적인 수리지질 구조도 파악할 수 있었다.

  • It is the aim of this study to introduce the application method for the new estimation system of deterioration caused performance decrement of exterior wall by infrared theromography. With this help of this trial test, the defect such as void and honeycomb of esveria wall can be shown easily. Espicially by selecting the weathering condition, it becomes easier to identify defect than with original image. It was confirmed that this trial monitoring system is very useful to identify the defect of exterior wall.

  • Endmill is one of the most important cutting tool, not only for machining of mold and die, but also for manufacturing of car industrial. Futhermore with spindle speeds on the increase and machined-surface quality aspiring to higher levels. The purpose of this study is an analysis of endmill's rake angle for appropriate tools design and making for the high speed machining. In this study, Experimental works are also executed to measure shape of endmills, cutting force, on different shape of endmills. Finally, To get concept of endmill design, Tool life was experimented on various design of tool from this study.

  • The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of clearance angle on cutting performance in high speed endmilling. The tool geometry parameters and cutting process have complex relationship. In order to explain the effect of clearance angle and exist the optimal clearance angle according to the diameter, Using various tool with different clearance angle, numerous cutting tests (cutting force, surface accuracy, too life) was undertaken to show the relationship between clearance angle and cutting process.

  • This paper provides the procedure to derive model parameters from the field tests. Since the accuracy of power system analysis depends on the accuracy of models used to represent the generation units, the reliability of power system analysis could be affected by parameters used in those models. The objective of this paper is to validate and update the models. So the field test had performed for thermal units and adjusting the variables to match with the measured values derived their model parameters. And the model parameters are verified by comparing the variables between models.

  • Quality of endmill applied to high speed Machining can be classified in precision and tool life. Especially, Endmills are damaged easily when high speed machining are occurred vibration and deflection by thin and long shape of endmill, limitation of chip-pocket. Furthermore, Endmills are determined tool life by the quality of base material and the character of coating. This study have carried on research and analysis about grinding technique, circumference technique to improve precision that determine the quality of endmill. As the result of this study, that the technique is able to manufacture endmill applied to high speed Machining have been obtained.
