In comparison with conventional types of documents, photographs present special problems in the management of any archives because of their physical properties and the nature and format of their informational content This paper is case study for the effective photographs management at the university archives. At first, sort out photographic images in the university publications, draw up work sheet by the bibliographic information of the photographic images and construct a bibliographic database based on the work sheet. Secondly, the photographic images is linked with bibliographic database. In result, users can confirm immediately photographic images on the screen by searching OPAC. This paper concludes with a problem and improvement of the photograph database at the university archives.

FRBR, as is new conceptual model of bibliography based on entity-relation model, direct to revision of AACR. OCLC and other bibliographic utility develop algorithm that cluster relative bibliographic records automatically, which were derived from one original work, and web-based prototype for FRBR browsing. But the state of domestic research level stay at conceptual reconsideration of FRBR model.7his study focused on analyzing FRBR algorithm and application of KORMARC database.

오래전부터 정보자원, 특히 서지정보에 대한 기술 형식으로 널리 이용되어온 MARC은 급변하는 정보환경에 적응하기 위해 노력하고 있다. MARC은 이미 구축되어 있는 대규모의 정보자원과 포괄성으로 인하여 각종 정보자원에 대한 메타데이터로서 역할을 충분히 수행할수 있으리라 판단된다.

문헌 데이터베이스를 구축함에 있어서 서지데이터의 입력형식에 관해서는 국내의 표준지침이 마련되어 있지 않다. 국내외의 관련표준과 선행연구를 검토하고, CSA OCLC, 국회도서관, 연구개발 정보센터 등의 입력데이터 서지요소를 분석하여 학술지의 기사와 단행본 형태 출판물의 기고문, 특허문헌 등을 대상으로 구축하는 데이터베이스의 실용적인 입력표준안을 설계하여 제시하고자 한다.

정보검색측면에서 완전한 서지데이터베이스는 입력경비와 노력에 비해 이용자들이 검색접근점으로 활용하는 필드는 극히 제한적이다. 한편, 국내의 대학도서관들은 급증하는 장서를 대상으로 완전한 서지데이터베이스를 추구함에 따라 실제 서가에 배열되는데 많은 time-lag이 소요되고 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 최소수준의 검색접근점을 갖는 목록규칙의 시안을 제시하므로서 도서관과 정보이용자 양측이 만족하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

In this research, several ways of creating effective STI(Scientific ＆ Technological Information) databases were suggested. We put emphasis on the selection of input data, while on the other was handled, such factors as standardization for data entry, data entry system, etc.. In order to decide priority of target data, the status of document delivery service was analyzed. The result shows that conference proceedings were given priority to academic journals. In case of journals, ranking in the number of documents requested at KORDIC (Korea R＆D Information Center) and 16 Specialized Information Centers was compared with the ranking in citation frequency and impact factor, appeared at SCI.

This paper discusses automatic spelling correction in a point of view bibliographic Data Base production and information retrieval. Types of commonly detected spelling errors and impact of spelling errors in bibliographic data bases are described here. Document normalization, spelling verification, spelling correction and user interface for general construction of automatic spelling correction systems are described.
