Emission characteristics from charbroiling of four different meats (beef, port, duck and chicken) in a pilot-scale cooking facility were investigated in this study. The analyzed air pollutants include gaseous species (CO, NO, $SO_2$, $NH_3$ and PAHs) as well as particulate matters (TSP, $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$ and black carbon). The emission factors of $PM_{10}$ and PAHs were in the range of 3~47 g-PM/kg-meat and 0.6~11.41 mg-PAHs/kg-meat, respectively, depending on the type of a meat. In addition, the results also revealed that the high ratio of $PM_{2.5}$ to TSP in a meat charbroiling should be considered to design and to operate air pollution control devices.

Implant placement may be restricted by anatomical and/or financial limitations in restoring a completely edentulous arch, or the patients' unwillingness to have extensive surgical procedures. Implant assisted removable partial dentures (IARPD) in combination with anterior fixed implant prostheses can be proposed as an alternative treatment option for the restoration of a completely edentulous arch. In this case, a 56-year-old female patient who has a fully edentulous maxilla opposed by partially edentulous mandible was treated. The treatment option for the maxilla consisted of an implant-assisted removable partial denture supported by four anterior fixed implant prostheses. The mandible was restored with 8 anterior fixed partial dentures and posterior fixed implant-supported prostheses. Long-term follow-up and supportive periodontal treatment were performed for 9 years, and the patient was satisfied with the overall appearance as well as masticatory function.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate risk factors of pressure injuries in patients after neurosurgery. Methods: A retrospective case-control study was conducted using 273 patients undergoing neurosurgery admitted to a general hospital from 2015 to 2021. Data were collected from September 1 to 30, 2021. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results: Risk factors significantly influencing the occurrence of pressure injuries in the patients undergoing neurosurgery were hypertension (OR=3.12, p=.024), postoperative hypoalbuminemia (OR=0.30, p=.028), and prolonged operative duration (OR=1.00, p=.001). The regression model explained 86.0% of the variance of the outcome variable. Conclusion: In order to prevent surgery-related pressure injuries in patients undergoing neurosurgery, thorough blood pressure management, avoidance of hypoalbuminemia, and preventive nursing intervention considering operative duration are required.

The simultaneous analysis of mycotoxins using LC-MS/MS, a food official analysis method, was applied with compound feed for pets with high consumer preferences. In this study, the linearity of all calibration curves showed good linearity of 0.99 or more. and both the accuracy (recovery rate) and precision (repeatability) criteria of the concentration range for each mycotoxin in the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service's Validation and Verification Guidelines were met. And as a result of analyzing FAPAS QCM in the same way, it was assesed that the z-scores of Aflatoxin B₁, Ochratoxin A, Zearalenone, and Fumonisin B₁, were within ±2 range. This study showed that the application of the food official analysis method to compound feed for pets is suitable.
