The emission gas from meat grilled restaurants has unpleasant odor and sticky particulate matters (PM) in form of oil mist. This affects the residents living nearby. In oder to decrease the odor and PM, electrostatic precipitators (ESP) were installed at several restaurants by support of Seoul metropolitan government and emission characteristics of PM and odor were investigated. The removal efficiency of odor and PM at before- and after-ESP was that total hydrocarbon (THC), NH₃, H₂S, acetaldehyde, butyraldehyde were not much decreased. Total suspended particles (TSP) emitted from the vent was below the value of 7 mg/m³ regardless of the concentration of before-ESP and removal efficiency was in the range of 64 ~ 86%. The ratio of PM_1.0 to PM₁₀ of emission gas was over 0.9. So it was revealed that most PM of emission gas was PM1.0. The PM concentration in the air of the street near the vent was higher than another street due to the emission gas and the PM of indoor air of restaurant grilling meats was measured very high compared to outdoor air. So it needs more powerful ventilation of indoor air.

This study was performed to analyze the nutritional contents (calories, carbohydrate, protein, fat, sugar, sodium and potassium) of home meal replacements (HMRs) and assess the total nutritional value of these meals. The energy, carbohydrate and sodium contents were highest in fried rice, and the percentage of the daily value (%DV) was also higher than 50%. In all HMRs, the sodium Index of Nutritional Qualities (INQs) was higher than one, but all sugar INQs were lower than one. Most of the energy contribution of the carbohydrates in fried rice, spaghetti and tteokbokki exceeded the recommended range, whereas protein and fat values were mostly under the recommended range in one-dish type lunchboxes and tteokbokki respectively. When applying the nutritional labeling requirements for food, a difference of 31% above or below the labeling standard indicates that continuous monitoring is needed. These results suggest that HMRs contain high levels of sodium and appear to be nutritionally imbalanced in part.

[ ${\circ}$ ] 건설부는 ''94.9.8 서울시에서 발표한 ''서울국제화를 위한 도시구조개편과 전략지역 개발계획''과 관련하여 이들 사업계획지역 및 주변지역의 토지에 대한 투기발생이 우려됨에 따라 서울특별시 강서구 방화동등 9구 43동 $35.42km^{2}$를 ''94년 9월 28일부터 3년간 토지거래허가구역으로 신규지정${\cdot}$관리키로 하였다. ${\circ}$ 이로써 전국의 허가구역은 1특별시 5직할시 9도 55구 67시 128군 $37,388.3km^{2}$(전국의 $37.6{\%}$)에서 1특별시 5직할시 9도 56구 67시 128군 $37,423.7km^{2}$(전국의 $37.7{\%}$로 변경되게 되었다.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate whether the comprehensive nursing care service positively affected accidental falls and pressure injuries. Methods: This study was a retrospective study that analyzed the accidental falls and pressure injuries cases in an acute care hospital located in Seoul and compared the rates of accidental falls and pressure injuries before and after the comprehensive nursing care service was operated. Results: Comparing the accidental fall incidence rates per 100 person-months between a comprehensive nursing care ward and a general ward, it showed fewer accidental falls by 0.44 in comprehensive nursing care wards, but the result was not statistically significant. In the case of pressure ulcers, the incident rate per 100 person-month was 6.17 in general wards and 4.77 in comprehensive nursing care wards, which showed that the number of pressure ulcer patients was lower in comprehensive nursing care wards, however it was also not statistically significant. Conclusion: It is not confirmed that the operation of the comprehensive nursing care service contributes to the reduction of accidental hospital falls or pressure injuries. Follow-up studies are recommended to determine the effectiveness of comprehensive nursing services in quality indicators.
