With the development of web 2.0 and the rapid diffusion of smart devices, current web service, which only provides very limited information and service, has been transformed into user-friendly and comprehensive web service called mash-up service. Mash-up service is defined as comprehensive service that is created by combining variety of web services. When composing a mesh-up service, Open API is used as web service interface. Current mash-up service, however, has fundamental problem in that it could not satisfy the various needs of users who want I-centric personalized service because it is developed and provided by service developers. To overcome these obstacles, a lot of studies on mesh-up framework are being performed for improving mash-up proess though, it is still in beginning stage. In this paper, we introduce an API selection and compostion method as the key technology for mesh-up framework that support the automatic creation of mesh-up service.

통화 위주의 기능이 주류를 이루고 있던 전화 서비스시장에 다양한 정보를 제공하기 위한 첨단 부가서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 인터넷과의 연동, 음성인식, 음성합성, 음성녹음 등의 요소들을 제공할 수 있어야 하며, 여러 고객의 다양한 요구사항을 수용하기 위한 서비스 시나리오의 개발 방법이 제공되어야 한다. HUVOIS solution 은 WWW 콘서시엄의 표준에 따른 VoiceXML 2.0 인터프리터 엔진과 음성인식엔진, 음성합성엔진을 수용하였으며 신규 부가서비스를 쉽고 빠르게 제공할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위하여 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 KT가 개발한 HUVOIS 솔루션과 이를 이용한 각종 서비스 및 사업에 대하여 기술하였다.

Marine accidents are mostly caused by medium and small ships, and are continuously increasing. In this paper, we propose an architecture of the speech synthesis based automatic safety navigation support service providing system for small ships that equiped onboard systems compared with vessels. The main purpose of the system is to prevent marine accidents by providing synthesized voice safety messages to nearby ships. The safety navigation support service is operated by connecting GPS and AIS to synthesize voice safety messages, automatically broadcast through VHF. Therefore, we developed a data processing module, a staged risk analysis module, a voice synthesis safety message generation module, and a VHF broadcasting equipment control module, which are components of the system. In addition, we conducted laboratory-level and sea-trial demonstration tests using the developed the system, which verified usefulness of the proposed service.

멀티미디어 서비스 수요의 증가는 네트워크 상에서 기존의 문자기반의 컨텐츠 제공 서비스의 수요를 이미 앞질렀으며 네트워크와 시스템 자원의 발전에 따라 사용자 요구는 그에 따라 더욱 폭 넓게 증가하고 있다. 우수한 품질의 동영상 데이터를 온라인 상에서 품질 저하 없이 서비스 받을 수 있는 것을 넘어 사용자는 컨텐츠에 파생되는 부가의 서비스를 요구하게 되었고 이는 기존의 텍스트 정보에 의한 양방향 서비스가 아닌 사용자의 요구에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 자체에 대한 서비스를 위한 정보시스템이 필요하게 되었음을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 객체 단위의 동영상을 실시간으로 합성하여 이를 사용자에게 즉시 서비스하는 양방향 멀티미디어 서버 시스템의 설계와 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 구현된 시스템은 사용자에게 일방적인 데이터를 전송하는 기존의 시스템과 달리 적용 가능한 객체 단위 동영상을 합성 전송하고 자동 추출된 실시간 오브젝트를 다양한 배경화면과 함께 합성하여 서비스 할 수 있는 기능 구조를 가진다. 또한 멀티미디어 서버의 주요 목표를 반영하여 확장과 성능을 고려한 클러스터 On-Demand 서버를 구성하였으며 서버와 서비스 관리를 위한 모든 구성요소를 포함하여 실제 서비스가 가능한 완전한 미디어 시스템을 설계 구현하였다.

To provide autonomous and dynamic services for users in a ubiquitous environment where heterogeneity, mobility and variability are main characteristics, an efficient service description/structuring mechanism and a service composition method are essential. Service composition can consider context in real-time and compose appropriate services. In this research, we propose a mechanism for extracting services from a specific domain and structuring them into hierarchical service ontology. Each service is described using the proposed service specification. Based on this service ontology, users can represent their goals using various abstraction levels of services, and then our service overloading method enables to invoke the most appropriate service at the execution time. Moreover, we present a method which can discovery an alternative service by referencing the service ontology, when the requested service is not available. The experimental result shows that our service ontology could improve the success probability of users' goals and reduce service binding time compare to using just an unstructured list of services.

이질적인 어플리케이션간의 통합문제로 등장한 웹 서비스가 차세대 e-비즈니스의 기반으로 크게 성장하고 있다. 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고, 어떠한 시스템에도 독립적일 수 있도록 통합 서비스 환경을 제공함으로써, 사용자의 다양한 요구에 부응할 수 있는 웹 서비스가 기업 내 또는 기업 간 통합 서비스의 장애요인을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 대안으로 부상하고 있다. 하지만 현재의 웹 서비스는 단순한 웹 서비스 지원만이 가능할 뿐 개인화 된 맞춤 서비스 합성이 용이하지 않다. 또한 의미 기반의 웹 서비스 검색 지원이 안되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 I-Gennine Portal Engine을 통해 의미 기반의 웹 서비스 검색과 합성을 지원하는 사용자 중심의 맞춤형 웹 서비스 포털 에이젼트 시스템을 제안하고자 한다

To support advanced collaboration among knowledge workers distributed geographically, there have been extensive researches under the scope of ubiquitous computing environments. Especially, to cope with several known problems in traditional room-based collaboration environments such as uncomfortable sharing of visuals and documents and difficult operation of collaboration tools, several conceptual frameworks are designed and prototyped. Focusing on practical and interactive collaboration with remote nodes, in this paper, we conceptually design an agent-based service composition model for multi-party collaboration environments. The proposed model is designed to automatically discover and combine services to achieve given tasks in a collaboration environment by using high-level user commands (without the knowledge of internal architecture). Based on the service composition model, we develop a multi-agent-based management toolkit for multi-party collaboration environments. It provides easy-to-use GUI to operate various services in an environment and perform service composition algorithm to discover appropriate services and combine them. To explore the possibility of the toolkit we implement collaboration services to support video conference by using the toolkit.

차세대 이동통신 서비스는 영상을 포함한 멀티미디어 서비스나 고속 데이터통신 서비스가 가능해야한다. 본 논문에서는 W-CDMA 방식을 이용한 IMT-2000 단말기의 주파수 합성기를 포함하는 송신부를 설계한다. 요구되는 성능은 채널간격 10MHz, 변ㆍ복조 방식은 QPSK, 데이터 전송속도는 4.096Mcps, 주파수 합성기는 19.2MHz의 기준 주파수로 2,200∼2,300MHz 및 140MHz/260MHz의 주파수를 만든다. 구현된 주파수 합성기 및 송신부가 IMT-2000단말기의 요구 성능을 만족함을 보이고, W-CDMA를 이용한 WLL, Wireless LAN등 다양한 무선장비에 이용될 것으로 기대된다.

This paper proposes service-oriented composition and verification techniques for incrementally extracting high-level abstract behavior of unit components in a systematic manner. Proposed techniques include the definition for abstract component, which is a basic building-block of the abstraction process, an algorithm for port-based synchronized abstraction, and projection abstraction. A verification framework is developed using the proposed techniques and its efficiency is demonstrated through a case example.

자율적 객체(autonomous object)는 분산 시스템에서의 기능(functionality)에 대한 융통성과 동적 확장성을 제공하기 위해 적합한 패러다임이다. 코드 이동성에 근거한 기능의 동적 합성이 자율적 객체에 의하여 지원되면 사용자의 다양한 서비스 요구 충족과 네트워크 부하 및 서비스 응답 시간 최적화 등과 같은 잇점을 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 잇점을 제공하는 코드 이동성에 기반한 동적 기능 합성에 대한 연구로서 기존의 연구들에서 제안하는 동적 기능 합성을 확장하고, 확장된 합성 메커니즘을 실현하기 위한 언어적 구조체(language constructs)를 설계하였다. 또한, 자율적 객체가 수행되는 환경으로서의 플랫폼을 제안하고 적용 사례를 통하여 코드 이동성에 근거한 기능 합성의 예를 제시하였다.
