Currently, numerous (broadcasting) programs are being provided to viewers, which makes it hard for viewers to select a program to watch. Especially, surfing channels watching the program videos (which is the most general manner of searching a program) became a time consuming task of performing several tens of channel changes (a channel change takes about 0.7 second). In the paper, a data service for guiding programs using the multi-view of program videos is proposed. The data service allows viewers to navigate all program videos without channel changes. To implement the data service, a method for composing and transmitting multi-view videos with the meta data for handling each video of the multi-view has been devised and a Java API has been implemented to clip, resize, and display parts of the multi-view videos.

This study was to examine the effects of fall prevention educational program on the related knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy of nurses working in Comprehensive Nursing Care Unit, general hospital. A quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design was used, Participants included a total of 40 nurses as the subjects (Intervention: n=20, Control: n=20) working in Comprehensive Nursing Care Unit, general hospital, Seoul. Data were collected form March through May, 2017. Data were analyzed by using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Intervention group showed significant higher knowledge (F=189.03, p<.001), attitude (F=761.74, p=.003), and self-efficacy (F=188.50, p=.002) scores than them of control group. The fall prevention educational program was an effective intervention for improving the related knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy of nurses working in Comprehensive Nursing Care Units, general hospital. Therefore, the results show the necessity of developing and applying the systemic nursing intervention to improve preventive behavior on falls.

최근 지능형 로봇의 필요성과 활용성이 증가하면서 로봇의 형태와 사용 방법이 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 하드웨어적인 로봇의 발전은 과거부터 현재까지 많은 발전을 거듭해 왔으나, 로봇의 지능과 기능을 모듈화 하여 서비스 할 수 있는 방법은 많이 연구되지 못하였다. 지능로봇 서비스는 로봇의 형태와 사용 방법에 따라 서비스를 다르게 적용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 다양한 응용 개발이 가능하여 쉽고 빠르게 로봇에 적용이 가능하다. 또한 컴포넌트 기반의 시뮬레이션 서비스를 개발함으로서 사용자(End User)의 설계 및 개발 시간 단축과 테스트 및 시뮬레이션 시간을 획기적으로 단축할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 VPL 활용을 위한 지능로봇 시뮬레이션 서비스 컴포넌트 개발 연구 방법을 소개하고 제안한다. VPL은 인간친화적인 GUI환경으로 로봇 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발 할 수 있는 RDS 프로그램 방법이며, 다양한 서비스 개발을 통해 다양한 환경 그리고 다양한 시뮬레이션 로봇의 실험이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 C# 언어를 사용하여 지능로봇 서비스 컴포넌트 개발 사례를 소개하고 실제 로봇 시뮬레이션 프로그램에 적용하여 실험하였다. 따라서 향후 많은 로봇 서비스 컴포넌트의 응용 개발과 로봇 산업, 교육 분야에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

It is strongly beliefed that Video on Demand(VOD) will become one of the most promising services in Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network(B-ISDN) for the nest generation VOD service can be classified into two types of services 'Near VOD(NVOD) and Interactive VOD(IVOD). For both services, some video servers should be installed at some nodes(especially, at the root node for NVOD service) in the tree structued VOD network,so that each node with video server stores video programs and distribules stored programs to customers. We consider thre kinds of cost.a program transmission cost, a program storage cost, and a video server installation cost. There exists a trade-off relationship among those three costs according to locationsl of video servers and the kinds of programs stord at each video server. Given a tree structured VOD network, and the total number of programs being served in the network, the resource allocation problem in a VOD network providing both IVOD and NVOD services is to determine where to install video servers for IVOD service, which and how many programs should be stored at each video server for both IVOD and NVOD services, so as to minunize the total cost which is the sum of three costs for both IVOD and NVOD services. In this paper we develop an efficient cynamic programming algorithm for solving the problem. We also implement the algorithm based on a service policy assumed in this paper.

기존에 개발된 사용자 선호 정보를 이용한 TV 추천 시스템은 대부분 사용자의 명시적인 요구에 따라 방송 프로그램을 추천하는 데 중점을 두고 개발되었다. 하지만, 유비쿼터스 환경이 도래함에 따라서 사용자의 요구에 따라 반응하는 수동적인 서비스 보다는 상황정보(Context)를 활용하여 능동적인 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 CAMUS(Context-Aware Middleware for URC Systems) 상황인식 미들웨어를 이용하여 사용자 위치 상황정보에 따라 능동적으로 추천할 수 있는 TV 추천 서비스 에이전트를 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 CAMUS 기반 서비스 에이전트와 태스크를 구현함으로써, 상황정보에 따라 능동적으로 다채널에서 방송되는 프로그램 및 사용자의 선호도 정보를 분석하여 사용자가 원하는 프로그램을 추천한다.

본 논문에서는 스테레오스코픽 비디오 응용 포맷(Stereoscopic video Application Format)을 기반으로 IP환경에서 3차원 광고, 홍보 및 교육 등에 직접적으로 적용될 수 있는 3D Push 서비스 시스템을 제안한다. 스테레오스코픽 비디오 응용 포맷은 모바일 및 고정형 환경에서 스테레오스코픽 비디오 저장 및 전송을 위한 파일 포맷으로서 다양한 3D 디바이스에 공통으로 적용될 수 있으며 국제표준(ISO/IEC 23000-11)으로 채택되었다. 제안한 시스템은 스테레오스코픽 콘텐츠를 토대로 프로그램 저작을 위한 저작 및 저장을 위한 저작도구, 저작된 프로그램을 스케줄링하고 각 클라이언트의 요청에 따라 전송 관리하는 서버 및 프로그램에 따라 자동 3D 디스플레이 및 사용자 인터랙션을 제공하는 플레이어로 구성된다. 또한, 제안하는 시스템은 국제표준을 토대로 다양한 3D 디바이스와 호환성을 제공하며 모바일 및 고화질 3차원 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며, 각 사이트 과금에 따라 3D 프리미엄 서비스 및 Non-tapeless기반의 원격관리 3D Push 서비스를 제공하는 장점을 가진다.

본 논문은 위치 측정 안드로이드 프로그램과 각도 측정 안드로이드 프로그램 구현 사례를 소개한다. 구현한 프로그램을 갤럭시 S에서 실험한 결과도 소개하고 갤럭시 S2에서 실험한 결과도 소개한다. 근래에 상황기반 서비스와 증강현실 서비스가 널리 연구되고 있는데 본 연구는 이러한 실용 시스템 개발의 첫 걸음이다.

Although the data service of the digital broadcasting has been regarded as the representative service of the broadcasting and communication convergence, it, however, has failed to gain the popularity with the viewers due to the viewer's viewing modality of focusing only on the TV programs. Based on the experts' opinions that the data service should step up so that using a data service while watching a TV program creates a synergy effect, the paper proposes a method for allowing a data service to utilize the information of a TV program. The method has a tool for describing the information of a TV program's content, which changes as time goes on and provides a mechanism for transmitting the information in the way compatible to the digital broadcasting standard. As an application of the method, with a domestic data service developing company, we have developed a ticker data service that shows the information (e.g., actors, places, sponsors, etc.) of a drama.

디지털 기술의 급속한 발전에 의한 디지털 방송의 도입은 방송환경에 커다란 변혁을 초래하고 있다. 기술의 발전은 방송, 통신, 컴퓨터를 융합시킨 새로운 미디어 서비스를 등장시키고 있으며, 이러한 미디어의 융합은 지금까지 독자적인 영역에서 발전하여 오던 각각의 미디어들이 가지고 있는 한계성 또는 단점을 상호보완적으로 개선함으로써 서비스 능력을 대폭적으로 향상시키는 방향으로 전개되고 있다. 이와같은 디지털 시대의 대변혁은 멀티미디어 서비스를 그 중심축으로 하고 있으며, 이른바 방송통신 융합시대의 경쟁력 있는 서비스를 도입하기 위한 미디어간, 국가간의 경계영역을 초월한 글로벌 경쟁체제가 급속히 진전되어 가고 있다. 이와 같은 미디어의 융합 현상에 따라 제작 환경도 새로운 디지털 방송 서비스를 효율적으로 지원하도록 전환되어야 한다. 디지털 방송의 특징인 고품질 및 다채널 시대를 맞아 방송 콘텐츠의 재활용도를 높이는 것은 매우 중요하며, 데이터 방송, 인터넷 방송 등 다양한 기능의 서비스를 도입하기 위해선 제작 체계의 개선이 뒷받침되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 새로운 제작 환경에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, 컴퓨터 기반의 제작 환경 구축에 핵심 요소인 넌리니어 편집시스템과 방송 콘텐츠를 효율적으로 관리하고 재활용할 수 있는 디지털 아카이브에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 테이프 대신 하드디스크를 기록 매체로 하는 넌리니어(non-linear) 시스템의 등장에 따라 방송 프로그램 제작에 대한 새로운 개념의 정립이 필요하게 되었으며, 이를 근간으로 하는 새로운 프로그램 제작환경, 즉 네트워크에 의해 컴퓨터와 데이터베이스를 연결하여 제작으로부터 송출가지 통합관리가 가능한 새로운 방송 프로그램 제작환경, 이른바 멀티미디어 제작환경을 구축하는 것이 디지털 방송 시대의 방송 사업자에게 가장 중요한 과제중의 하나가 되었다. 멀티미디어 제작환경을 구축함으로써 영상, 음성 및 다양한 부가 데이터를 포함하는 멀티미디어 프로그램을 편리하게 제작할 수 있으며, 데이터베이스로부터 필요한 영상 이미지를 자유롭게 합성, 조작하는 등, 매우 다양하고 편리한 제작기법을 활용할 수 있다. 또한 멀티미디어를 응용한 제작 분야로서 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술은 방송의 사전제작에 커다란 기여를 하고 있으며, 이미 선거방송을 비롯한 여러가지 프로그램은 가상스튜디오와 가상캐릭터 기술을 활용하여 제작하고 있다. 방송사업자는 이러한 멀티미디어 제작시스템을 근간으로 영상검색, 영상 합성, 스크립트 편집, 가상현실 응용 등 고도의 제작 기법을 활용함으로써 사용자 친화성, 다이나믹한 표현, 실시간, 대화성을 특징으로 하는 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 시청자에게 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Objectives: The development of internet programs for smoking cessation was motivated to quit smoking in the large group of smokers. This personalized program consisted of tailored message to consider the smokers characteristics, and contain the informations on the outcomes of smoking cessation and the skills to be used in the quit attempts. The purpose of this study was to develop the internet management program and information push-delivery system for smoking cessation to encourage the personal intention to quit smoking. Methods: We conducted in 3 steps as developing push service to encourage intention of smoking cessation, analyzing problems of smoking cessation program through the pilot test and suggesting improvements by implication stages. Results: This program is delivered for 30 days. if the participants do not fail to quit smoking. The contents consisted of 13 stages which were divided on starting period. practical period, maintenance period and success period. And push service afforded the tailored message to participants using their e-mail. According to the evaluation of pilot test, the problems of internet information push-delivery service for smoking cessation were the over-tasks per visiting time, recording style of participants, difficulty of terms and sentences, lack of visual effects, absence of follow-up module and unsuitable link with main homepage. Improvements were divided on 3 stages by implication period. The first stage included the immediate improvements as improving link with homepage, modifying menu of smoking information and upload file of notice part. The second stage included the short term improvements as alleviating condition of withdrawal, coordinating start stage of retrial, modifying errors of information push-delivery service and addition of educational materials. The third stage included the long term improvements as development of follow-up module, cost-effectiveness evaluation, reducing contents quantity, introduction of checking style, compensation of graphics effect and review for SMS utilization. Conclusions: This program contribute to improving smoking cessation rate. Therefore this program should be tested in a community to evaluate the effectiveness. To promote the effectiveness, this program should be developed the contents and the strategies for various targets, and established the follow-up system for ex-smokers.
