This paper proposes an implementation of an orchestration service of web services, which work as context aware applications in Ubiquitous Computing. The proposed method alms to decrease the cost of adapting to the context changes. UC requires the context adaptation more than any other computing environments, and it works based on networks of various heterogeneous platforms. Web services on SOA could be one of the solutions for the requirements. This paper proposes the way how to implement an orchestration service of SOA to handle the context adaptation while keeping the performance high. We develops an implementation model of orchestration services of web services, and the model decreases the number of code lines of the orchestration service. This paper also shows a simple empirical study, and it also analyzes two different method implementing the polymorphism, overloading and overriding.

지리 정보와 속성 정보를 바탕으로 사용자에게 다양한 분석 기능을 제공하는 지리정보시스템은 많은 기능적인 향상과 사용자 인터페이스에서의 편리성을 제공하고 있다. 그러나, 초기의 지리정보 시스템 소프트웨어들은 패키지 형태로 제공되어 구축비용 및 다양한 사용자 요구 사항을 충족시키기에 많은 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는, OGC(Open GIS Consortium)의 개방형 지리정보시스템 서비스 아키텍쳐에 기반을 둔 지리정보시스템 서비스 컴포넌트의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 서술한다. 각 서비스 컴포넌트는 단위 기능을 컴포넌트 형태로 제공함으로써 구축비용 및 다양한 사양한 요구사항을 효율적으로 충족시킬 수 있다. 개발된 서비스 컴포넌트는 객체 지향형 모델링 툴인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)로 설계되었고, ATL/COM 과 C++ 환경에서 구축되었다. 이는 재사용성 뿐만 아니라 상호 운용성, 언어 독립성, 쉬운 개발환경 등을 제공한다.

To improve the quality of healthcare and build up the health delivery system, electronic health record system is important for healthcare institutions providing health services. However, the systems currently operated in domestic healthcare institutions use independent software interface with distributed environment for data search and process. Therefore, it raises an additional expense to buy or develop each interface module when there is a link to new system and the problem of complexity. To solve these problems, this study implemented the service oriented architecture basis for home nursing service and carried out an assessment. The study defined the process modeling and business requirements based on the scenario of service and drew 17 suitable services based on five verification items for service design. To draw the final service, seven services were selected by service litmus test (SLT). The study found that, by the improvement of business process for healthcare service support department, SOA based information system has an effect of time reduction of patient processing time. In conclusion, to enable the hospital information system to cope with various demands of healthcare consumers, it is necessary to consider the application of SOA technology which has excellent interoperability, reusability and maintenance.

최근 비즈니스 환경이 빠르게 변화함에 따라 기업의 민첩한 대응이 요구되고 있으며, 서비스지향 아키텍쳐(Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA))가 유력한 대안으로 제시되고 있다. SOA는 서비스를 공유하고 재사용 할 수 있도록 정보시스템을 구축하는 소프트웨어 설계 방법론으로써, 급변하는 비즈니스 환경에 맞도록 민첩한 대응이 가능하도록 한다. 이러한 SOA의 장점으로 인해 현재 많은 기업에서 SOA를 이용한 시스템 개발을 진행하고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 SOA를 적용한 시스템 개발 노력이 계속 시도되고는 있지만 SOA기반의 표준화된 방법론은 아직 정립되지 않은 실정이다. 따라서, SOA를 이용한 시스템 개발은 현재 많은 어려움에 직면하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 표준화된 방법론으로써 온톨로지 기반의 SOA 개발방법론을 제시한다. 제안하는 방법은 온톨로지를 이용하여 서비스를 서비스 프로파일과 서비스 모델로 구분하여 정의하여 서비스 식별을 위한 기본 프레임워크를 제시한다. 또한 식별된 서비스들을 온톨로지 개념을 이용하여 검색, 재사용 할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하여 서비스 재활용도를 높일 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 온톨로지 기반의 SOA 개발 방법론은 현재 사용중인 다른 개발방법론과 비교 분석하였다. 비교 결과 본 논문에서 제안하는 온톨로지 기반 SOA 개발방법론은 현재까지 제안된 다른 방법보다 효율적이고 체계적인 개발 결과를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 연구 결과는 SOA에 표준방법론의 개발의 기반을 제공하여, 서비스의 의미론적 접근에 대한 시도 등 향후 연구에 중요한 방향성을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.

This study examined the main concepts of SOA and Web Services, and conducted technical analysis of major Web Services protocols such as SOAP, REST, SRW/U, and OAI-PMH that realize SOA, and suggested examples of SOAP and REST based Web Services establishments in foreign and domestic libraries respectively. In addition, it introduced application examples of Library 2.0 using Web 2.0 technology in foreign and domestic libraries and suggested how to apply SOA based Web Services protocol in Library 2.0. Finally, it proposed how to put Library 2.0 into practice applying meta-searching system integrating library OPAC, online bookstores, web portal sites and library union catalogs using REST based Open API.

Modern server systems are usually composed in the form of cluster systems in order to serve not only as many users but also as many kinds of applications as possible. The progression of the cluster system architecture leads in a middleware approach based on the Java framework. The middleware approach alleviates the efforts for the construction and the management of a server system but still preserves its performance and applications on the server. In this research, we introduce a new clustering scheme for the easy construction and maintenance of a cluster server system with the Java Management Extensions. We first demonstrate the construction and configuration process. Our experiment sets can verify that it is easy to construct, expand and manage a middleware based cluster system as well as the applications which reside on it. In addition, we can achieve reasonable performance on our service oriented clustered system with the help of state-of-the-art middleware. The experimental results of performance demonstration contain the availability of a server, and the effectiveness of load balancing and scheduling mechanisms. Especially, our service oriented scheduling mechanism was shown to successfully manage load imbalance under the normal load and cope with the overloaded situations, compared with other known scheduling mechanisms.

오늘날의 컴퓨팅 환경은 통신 네트워크의 복잡성과 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스 처리를 위해 객체지향 기술을 분산 시스템에 도입하고 통신망을 소프트웨어 계층적 모델로 구조화한 개방형 정보 통신망 구조 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 분산환경에서 멀티미디어 스트림 데이타를 전송하기 위한 아키텍쳐에 관한 모델의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것으로 분산 환경에서 멀티미디어 스트림 데이타를 효율적으로 전송할 수 있는 구조를 제시하고 있다. 설계한 구조는 Point-to-Point와 멀티캐스트를 지원하며 컴퓨터 통신망에서 멀티캐스트 연결을 효율적으로 관리하고 추후 기능 확장 및 기능 변경이 용이하도록 모듈화하고 유연성을 가지는 연결 관리 구조를 설계하고 구현하였다. 신호기능은 CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture)의 ORB를 이용하여 실현하였으며, 데이타 전송 기능은 TCP/IP연결을 이용하였다. 이렇게 신호처리 부분과 데이타 전송 부분을 독립적으로 만들어서 하부망 기술에 독립적인 연결 관리 구조를 채택하고 있으므로 향후 다른 환경에서도 신호처리 부분을 그대로 적용할 수 있다. 분산 객체 개념을 적용하여 연결 관리 기능을 분산 객체화 하였으며 각 분산 객체간 인터페이스를 OMG(Object Management Group) IDL(Interface Definition Language)로 정의함으로써 유연성을 갖도록 하였다.AbstractThis paper proposes communication service architecture to support dynamic communication configuration and multiple connection management which are required to handle a variety of multimedia multicast application. Our communication service architecture was designed to fulfil the objectives as the following:- To build a common networking system for various multimedia multicast services- To build a platform for rapid service development and provisioning- To provide service networking independent on transport network technologiesWe implemented communication service architecture based on Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) for multimedia multicast applications. Our communication service architecture is distributed and object-oriented for extensibility and easy modification. The interfaces between the distributed objects are specified in (Object Management Group) OMGs Interface Definition Language.

To survive in rapidly changing business environment, the enterprises of all over the world are trying to integrate their IT infra structure and are trying to automate their business process. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is being accepted as an IT standard to support efficient system integration and flexible business process automation between enterprises or departments. The material control system is required this software architecture between manufacturing company and materials supply vendors. This paper introduces concept of SOA, relevant technology about SOA such as Web Services and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and describes how to automate materials control process by designing the material control system based on SOA. The analysis of requirements is proceeded by Unified Modeling Language (UML) and SOA delivery strategy is selected the top-down strategy. And this paper describes how to derive services and operations and how to arrange services in three service layers and how to design business process.

현재 전력 시스템들은 폐쇄된 환경에서 각각 독립적으로 운영, 관리 되고 있다. 새로운 전력 공급원의 투입 및 예상치 않은 전력수요의 급증으로 야기되는 전력 계통의 동요 상태는 독립된 한 시스템의 데이터만으로 상황을 신속하게 예측하기가 어렵다. 따라서, 현재 동적인 전력 계통 상황에 대해 운전원들에게 신속하고 정확하게 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 기존 전력 계통운영 시스템들의 연동 및 데이터 연계의 문제를 고려하지 않을 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중에 있는 Synchro-Phasor 기반의 K-AMS(Korea Wide Area Monitoring System)를 소개하고, K-WAMS와 기존 시스템들과의 데이터 연계 및 교환을 위해 IEC 61970 표준 CIM(Common Information Model)기반의 데이터 스키마 설계 방법 및 각 전력 시스템들의 데이터 통합을 위해 서비스 지향 아키텍쳐인 SOA 기반의 설계 방법을 제안한다.

The next generation of web applications will need to be larger, more complex, and flexible Agent-oriented systems have great potential for these e-commerce applications. Agents can dynamically discover and compose e-services and mediate interactions. Development of software agents with CBD (Component Based Development) has proved to be successful in increasing speed to market of development Projects, lowering the development cost and providing better qualify. In this thesis, we propose a systemic development process for software agents using component and UML (Unified Modeling Language). We suggest a etA (e-business Agent) CBD reference architecture for layer the related components through identification and classification of general agent and e-business agent. We also propose the ebA-CBD process that is a guideline to consider the best features of existing agent oriented software engineering methodologies, while grounding agent-oriented concepts in the same underlying semantic framework used by UML. We first developed the agent components specification and modeled it with Goal, Role, Interaction, and Architecture Model. Based on this, we developed e-CPIMAS (e-Commerce Product Information Mailing Agent System) as a case study that provides the product information's mailing service according to proposed process formality. We finally describe how these concepts may assist in increasing the efficiency reusability, productivity and quality to develop the business application and e-business agent.
