The purpose of IT Service Level Management(SLM) has recently shifted from being a simple financial contract(SLA contract itself) towards a system(SLA management system) for the management of the customer's expectations and the provider's service. The aim of this paper is to introduce and present the systematic SLM using statistical method. We discuss the service level according to two points of view: statistical method and service level management. First, we go into more detail on the objective service level using statistical method. Second, we give an overview of total service level assessment method. The proposed framework enables to measure total service level as IT outsourcing performance quantitatively from the aspect of business strategy.

Multimedia service whose use is rapidly increasing supports effective services to convert and transmit multimedia data based on network speed, noise circumstance, terminal computation, and type of contents for satisfying QoS. For supporting information protection of multimedia service, it offers middle level of singular security service or security mechanism which is based on policy of service provider, depending on present terminal computation and type of contents. It can support security mechanism for more effective multimedia service, if we study security of application layer and network layer for supporting multimedia service. In this paper, we propose Multimedia security framework reflected on quantitative analysis of the WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) mesh network security using the utility function in the level of the sorority, violation and addictive compensation model.

최근 SLA를 자동으로 관리하고자 하는 국내 외에서 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 유지보수 측면과 과금 체계 자동화 측면에서 완성도가 낮은 편이다. 그러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 모바일 클라우드 서비스 환경에서 자동화된 서비스 수준 협약을 제공하기 위한 구조를 제안한다. 본 구조는 클라우드 서비스 브로커를 기반으로 서비스 제공자와 서비스 사용자를 연결하며, 주로 제공자 측면에서 작성되던 SLA를 사용자 측면도 고려할 수 있도록 하여, 균형을 이룰 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

웹 게시판 서비스에서의 비정상행위 탐지 및 블러킹 방안 제시는 서비스를 제공하는 주체에게는 대량의 광고성 게시글로부터 안정적 서비스 운영이 가능하게끔 하고, 서비스를 이용하는 사용자에게는 원하지 않는 게시글로부터 블러킹 방안을 제공 받아 깨끗한 웹 게시판 서비스를 가능한 방안으로 인터넷 환경이 제공되면서 필터링 기술 발전 수준이 가장 높은 스팸 메일 필터링 기술을 응용하여 웹 게시판 서비스에 적용하여 필터링 효과 수준을 측정하고 다른 웹 서비스 등에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

최근 정보시스템 개발 프로젝트의 복잡성과 규모의 증대로 인해 프로젝트를 체계적이고 전문적으로 관리할 수 있도록 PMO의 도입이 증가하고 있다. 하지만 PMO의 도입은 늘어가는데, 프로젝트 특정에 따른 PMO가 제공해야 할 서비스에 대한 체계적인 연구나 방향 제시가 부족한 실정이다. 또한 PMO 기능 또는 PMO서비스 수준이 프로젝트 성과나 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구도 부족하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 프로젝트 특성에 따른 PMO 서비스 수준이 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 한다.

This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. We have tested quality measurement test for VoIP/MoIP, VoD, IPTV services and analyzed the level of QoS and QoS degradation by constructing test laboratory consisted of 46 subscribers which provided by 3 telecom operators. Besides, We propose QoS Model to apply for BcN application based on analysis result and prove proposed model by constructing test lab in KOREN environment. It is expected that telecom will use this results as a valuable information to construct All-IP network based on NGN(NGN:Next Generation Network).This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. 비디오 서버는 다수의 비디오 요청을 동시에 서비스하기 때문에 통신망 대역폭을 공평하고 효율적으로 활용하는 것이 중요하다. 모바일 통신망에서 클라이언트들의 재생 버퍼 수준을 이용하여 VBR 비디오 스트림을 전송하는 스케쥴링 알고리즘들이 본 논문에서 제시되었다. 요청된 비디오 재생시 서비스 품질과 실시간적 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 비디오 서버는 일시적으로 버퍼 수준이 낮은 비디오 요청 작업을 우선적으로 서비스하고자 더 많은 대역폭을 할당하는 실시간 스케쥴링 알고리즘을 수행한다. 버퍼 수준이 상이한 모바일 클라이언트들에게 공평한 서비스와 부하 균형이 제공되는 시뮬레이션 결과가 나타났다.

More manufacturing companies tend to outsource their logistics functions to logistics service providers to ensure their own competitiveness than before. This paper investigates the differences between customer perceptions and expectations on three key logistics outsourcing decisions. For testing logistics service qualities, a research model which employs a SERVQUAL model was developed and a survey targeting manufacturing companies has been conducted. The average difference of logistics service level between customer perceptions and expectations was derived as 8% from a result of gap analyses. The findings here reveal the level of service quality of Korean logistics service providers as well as suggest core capabilities for them in order for gaining a competitive edge on the competitors and improving their performances.

현재의 무선 인터넷 서비스는 낮은 전송 속도 및 QoS 때문에 문자 기반의 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 또한 다양한 무선 인터넷 규격간의 호환성 결여로, 양질의 컨텐츠와 이동 단말의 수급에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 그러나 3세대 이동통신망은 현재의 2세대 망과는 달리 높은 전송 속도와 향상된 이동 단말 기능이 제공되기 때문에, 우선 인터넷과 동일한 수준의 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 제공될 것이며, 이를 위하여 3GPP(3GPP2), WAP, W3C, IETF 등 표준화 단체에서 무선 인터넷에 적합한 기술 표준 제정 작업 중에 있다 본 고에서는 3세대 이동 통신망에서 무선 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위한 요구 사항을 정리하고, 관련 표준의 현황과 3세대 이동 통신망에의 적용방안에 대하여 기술하였다.

Large metropolitan areas in the US are distinguished by highly fragmented fiscally independent suburban municipalities and special districts. The suburban fragmentation implies the congregation of similar socio-economic groups escaped from central cities and the disparity of geographical resources among local government jurisdictions. This study examines St.Louis County suburbs as a case study for the implictions of suburban governmental fragmentation and the fiscal disparities across local governmental boundaries by analyzing their relationship with public service provision using police and public school services as examples. The distribution of fiscal resources across political boundaries, the processes which created them, and public service inequalities reproduced from the disparity of fiscal resources reveal the causes and consequences of suburban governmental fragmentation. The central part of suburban fragmentation is the segregation of public goods consumption reproduced from the disparity of local fiscal resources, and it acts as a basic geographical segregating force in the suburban spatial organization.
