Since GBAS is a navaid facility to provide precision approach service to aircrafts landing at airports, it must be approved by the air navigation service provider or the aviation regulator to be declared operational. However, Korea has no experience in developing or operating the system so there is no approval criteria for GBAS. In order to develop the criteria in case of the future GBAS procurement, Korea Aerospace Research Institute has been testing the installed commercial GBAS station, SLS-4000, in Gimpo International Airport. This paper summarizes the criteria development results focusing on the system design approval. The criteria have been outlined based on the other leading nations' cases and documentations and established in detail on the basis of the FAA SDA artifacts. Those will be directly used for GBAS approval procedure in Korea and are expected to be useful in system requirement analysis, design, development and artifact management in case of own GNSS-based navaid system development in the future.

In this study, development directions for smooth introduction of transferring non-specialized libraries to specialized libraries are suggested based on the analysis conducted on non-specialized library librarians and users to investigate and analyze the comparative requirements for specializing libraries, specialization topics, demand for spaces and programs for specialization and view of important factors of each area when operating specialized libraries in future. As a result, first, when introducing a specialized library, it is necessary to derive a specialized topic that can identify and provide the characteristics of the region and the status of existing library. And a demand analysis. Based on this, the subject should be selected through the demand survey of the local residents. Second, from the stand point of targeted subjects of specialized service, it is necessary to provide tailored services by understanding the service range for each age group based on local population distribution and library user analysis. Third, experience-type, lecture-type and view-type can be suggested for specialized programs, considering the characteristics of the specialized subject field. It is ideal to operate combination of the three based on the subject filed details. Also, the characteristics of the subject and the types of program should be considered for specialized spaces. Finally, in order to systematically operate and promote specialized libraries, allocating dedicated personnel, linking with other institutions and strategies of promotion and marketing should be considered.

Archives should provide a web-based archival information service with good usability based on the understanding of users' needs. Thus, this study analyzed the usability of the National Archives of Korea (NAK) website's search service through expert and usability evaluations for various users and suggested improvement plans. A literature review, heuristic evaluation, one of the usability expert evaluation methods, and usability evaluation for users were performed. As a result of expert evaluation, the severity rating for the usability problem was highest regarding a match between the system and real world and the lowest in error prevention. In the usability evaluation, it was assumed that the user's background and whether the website's help was provided is associated with usability. Usability evaluation was conducted for 22 participants, including those majoring in records management, web/application developers, and people without such backgrounds. Furthermore, a presurvey, a five-second test, and search tasks were conducted in a row. The analysis based on usability components in ISO 9241-11: 2018, i.e., effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction, showed that web/application developers had the highest search effectiveness, and those majoring in records management showed high effectiveness only in the search for archival content services. Background factors did not affect efficiency, and the more familiar with the finding aids, the better the efficiency. Moreover, providing the website's help was found to be positively associated with effectiveness and satisfaction. This study suggests that the NAK website will offer a user-friendly interface and search function, expand help support, and display a consistent web interface.

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is the most complete and comprehensive method for translating what customers need from a product. This study utilized QFD to develop sauces made from Gochujang and to determine how to fulfill international customers' requirements. A customer survey and expert opinion survey were conducted from May 13 to August 22, 2014 and targeted 220 consumers and 20 experts in the U.S. and China. Finally, a total of 208 (190 consumers and 18 experts) useable data were selected. The top three customer requirements for Gochujang sauces were identified as fresh flavor (4.40), making better flavor (3.99), and cooking availability (3.90). Thirty-three engineering characteristics were developed. The results from the calculation of relative importance of engineering characteristics identified that 'cooking availability', 'free sample and food testing', 'unique concept', and 'development of brand' were the highest. The relative importance of engineering characteristics, correlation, and technical difficulties are ranked, and this result could contribute to the development Korean sauces based on customer needs and engineering characteristics.

The study aims at understanding that the precedent information search Patterns of on-line database users compared to non-users have an effect on user satisfaction. The research team analyzed S college students' library system use patterns to evaluate the efficiency of library information services and systems and therefore to diverse factors to improve user satisfaction. The research showed higher satisfaction from on-line system users than non-users. To satisfy user needs the research recommends more devices access methods to information.

R&D 기획은 연구 개발 전주기에 있어 수행, 평가에 앞서 필수적으로 선행되어야 하는 행위이다. 그렇지만, 아직까지 R&D 기획에서 무엇을 다루어야 하는지에 대한 원칙, 사례만 존재하고 이를 통합 시스템화하지 못하고 있어, 대부분의 연구자들은 논문, 특허, 웹을 포함한 다양한 자원들로부터 정보를 수집, 취합, 분석하는 데 많은 시간을 뺏기고 있는 형편이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 연구 이전에 시맨틱 기술과 텍스트 마이닝 기술을 이용하여 R&D 전략 수립을 지원하고자 InSciTe, InSciTe Advanced 등이 개발되었지만, R&D 기획이라는 궁극적 목적 내에서도 사용자마다 다양한 시나리오들을 분별하여 지원하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 이에 본 연구는 사용자 적응적 가이드 방식을 통합적으로 적용하여 실시간으로 변화하는 사용자 관심을 파악하고, 대표적 시나리오들에 맞추어 사용자가 목적을 효과적으로 달성할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 먼저 사용자 적응적 가이드 방식의 R&D 기획 시스템 구축을 위해 필요한 요구 사항들과 이들을 효과적으로 시스템에 반영하기 위한 온톨로지, 웹 서비스 중심의 설계 원칙들을 제시함으로써 R&D 기획뿐만 아니라 타 분야에서도 유연하게 적용할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다.

대학·연구기관 등이 보유한 연구장비의 공동활용으로는 중소기업의 즉각적인 수요를 해결하기에는 역부족이다. 중소벤처기업의 다양한 요구를 실시간으로 충족시키기 어려우며, 이용비용, 이용절차 복잡, 예약대기 등의 애로사항이 많아 중소벤처기업은 민간의 리스업체를 선호하는 경향이 있다. 중소벤처기업은 연구개발을 위한 자체 보유 연구장비가 부족하여 자체시험, 설계분석 수행이 어려움에 따라 R&D 초기단계부터 애로가 발생하고 있다. 또한 중소기업이 외부 시험, 검사장비 활용 시 경제적 부담, 이용절차 복잡 등의 다양한 어려움을 겪고 있어 연구장비의 새로운 지원방식의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 미국의 경우 민간 중심으로 연구장비 임대를 활성화하고 있고, 일본 및 유럽은 임대지원 정책을 추진하고 있으므로 우리도 이러한 리스뱅크 플랫폼의 구축이 시급한 실정이다. 따라서, 연구장비 임대, 공동활용 등 종합적인 서비스와 중소벤처기업이 이용하기 쉽고 편리한 전문가 시스템을 활용한 연구장비 리스뱅크 플랫폼 구축방안을 살펴보자.

The purpose of this study is identify the awareness and opinion of school librarians and teacher-librarians on the school library maker space. To do this, we used a semi-structured questionnaire to interview and analyzed in-depth telephone interviews of 7 school library professionals qualitatively. The recognition of makerspaces, the necessity of transforming school libraries into makerspaces and maker education, preparations and difficulties of implementation were investigated through the interview. As the result of interview analysis, school library professionals recognized that school library makerspace is essential to fulfill the users needs and important to enhance the library services. Also, school library professionals felt that it is desirable for the school library to function as a center for the in-school maker education program. Other important issues of the makerspace in school library were also identified. The key findings of this study are expected to be used as a momentum to activate the maker education centering on the school library.

Real-time support of embedded OS is not optional, but essential in contemporary embedded systems. In order to achieve these system#s real-time property, it is crucial that schedulability analysis for tasks having its property have been accomplished before system execution. Acquiring Worst-Case Execution Time(WCET) of task is a core part of schedulability analysis. Because traditional WCET tools analyze only its estimation of application task(i.e. program), it is not considered that application tasks are affected by scheduling primitives(e.g. scheduler, interrupt service routine, etc.) of OS when it schedules them. In this paper, we design and implement WCET analysis tool which deliberates on scheduling primitives of system using embedded Linux widely used in embedded OSes. This tool can estimate either WCET of normal application programs or corresponding primitives which have an influence on schduling property in embedded Linux kernel. Therefore, precision of estimation about schedulability analysis is improved. We develop this tool as Eclipse#s plug-in to work properly in any platform and support convenient interface or functionality for user.

The development of online funeral services and social issues of eco-friendly funeral culture have raised awareness of the new need for online funeral culture. There have been several attempts to revitalize online funeral services in domestic institutions and companies, but the effect is weak. The purpose of this study is to propose a design that can improve the accessibility and usability of online memorial services by analyzing the usability problem factors through a First Time User Experience analysis of the online memorial platform. Therefore, in this study, in order to identify the problem factors of the online memorial platform, a literature review on the UX, OOBE, and FTUE theories was conducted. The subject of the study was the app 'Memorial'. Before analyzing the First-Time User-Experience, IA was compared and analyzed with other similar services to understand the characteristics of the UX service of the app 'Memorial', which is the subject of the study. In addition, tasks corresponding to the Unpack-Setup/Configure-First Use stage were performed on 10 subjects who had no experience using the online memorial platform. The experimental process was expressed as the UX Curve to identify factors that caused negative experiences. As a result, the major problem factors included unnecessary UI elements, the need for sensitive personal information at the membership stage, and lack of immersion in the service. The improvements included strengthening community functions to facilitate the sharing of emotions and promote smooth communication between users. We proposed UI/UX service developments that enhanced the app by incorporating these insights. In order to verify the effectiveness, serviceability, and value of the developed prototype, an interview with a expert was conducted. The interviewes consisted of three service design experts. This study was conducted to contribute to the quality improvement and activation of the recently emerging online funeral services. The study is significant as it aims to understand the current status of these services and identify the factors necessary to improve service accessibility and usability. Subsequent studies require in-depth user verification of how much the proposed improvement plan affects the actual user experience.
