The Effect of Traditional Cultural Festival Storytelling on Festival Attractiveness and Visitor Satisfaction(Focusing on Gangneung Danoje Festival) (전통문화축제의 스토리텔링이 축제매력성과 방문객의 만족에 미치는 영향(강릉단오제를 중심으로))

  • This study has been conducted among the visitors to the Gangneung Danoje Festival 2014 and its purpose is to identify the presence of any correlation between festival attractiveness/visitor satisfaction and the festival factors comprised of interaction, story and telling with storytelling considered as a means that induces communications among visitors as a new method of festival expression. The study has found that the storytelling in traditional cultural festival has statistically significant effect on both festival attractiveness and visitor satisfaction. In particular, when it comes to festival attractiveness, diversity of programs, transportation and accessibility, service quality and lodging have shown to have statistically significant effect while affecting the satisfaction among visitors. Therefore, consistent efforts should be made to develop quality cultural contents through interactions and storytelling between a traditional cultural festival and visitors.

  • This paper applied components of experience-based communication in terms of experience theory of Burnd H. Schmitt and context-based communication in the messenger platform environment through the scenario-based survey method, in order to study the influence of individual experiences, shared experiences, ubiquitous connectivity, and contextual usefulness on the perceived value and use intention of chatbot. Through this, the study is to provide companies in various service industries with practical approaches to further promote the use of chatbot. The implications of this study are as follows. First, as most chatbots still do not exceed the human planning level of designing them, it is necessary to consider how to design individual experience elements functionally according to the customer's intention to speak when developing the chatbot. Second, the chatbot should be designed not only from the perspective of completing specific tasks at any real time in anywhere, but also from the overall perspective of enhancing the quality of interaction, including the situation to which the customer belongs. Third, since the chatbot is likely to be anthropomorphized by users, it is important to be cautious about determining the chatbot's 'persona' and 'tone and manner' when developing the chatbot. Customer satisfaction is the most important criterion for the success of chatbot development. In other words, the quality of planning and data rather than the quality of artificial intelligence algorithms determines the utilization of chatbot. This is why companies are trying to make interactions with chatbot as close as possible to human interactions.

A Study on the Motivation and User Satisfaction of Medical Students Using the Academic Search Engines (의과대학 대학원생의 학술정보 검색엔진 이용 동기 및 이용자 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The study aimed to investigate the motivation and user satisfaction of medical school graduate students using specific academic information sites, and examines the effect of usage motivation factors on user satisfaction. This study was conducted from September 10, 2018 to September 21, 2018 by a large medical school graduate student in Seoul, and analyzed 135 valid responses. According to the analysis, the degree of reliability and interactivity of PubMed is higher than that of Google Scholar in medical school graduate students' use of academic information sites. It was found to have a significant effect on user satisfaction of academic information sites. In particular, convenience has the greatest influence on users' choice of academic information sites. The results of the study are of theoretical implications in that the discussion of academic information services through web sites is explained in terms of use and satisfaction in the context of medical information. On the other hand, specific research results provide practical implications for improving the services of medical-related academic search engines.

  • In LTE-Advanced that different networks coexist, it is considered that it is actually difficult to provide service continuity with a procedural and static control method applied to the existing voice service. This research suggests a resource management framework to support the service continuity effectively based on QoS support. In other words, as context information of mobile terminal and base station changes, set-up of related functions such as ISHO, cell selection, source allocation, load control, and QoS mapping is adapted; each function fits into the change, exchanges the process of reorganization, and interacts; these actions go toward to satisfy service continuity. For this aim, the sequence diagram between the function modules for supporting four kind of ISHO is described and then a scenario for ISHO is considered.

The Importance and Performance Analysis of Service Encounter Quality by Types of Restaurants (레스토랑 유형별 서비스 인카운터 품질의 중요도 및 수행도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify critical control points of service encounter by types of restaurants in order to manage moment of truth when customers encounter services. Questionnaires were collected from 812 customers (aged 15 years or older) who had used restaurants in Seoul, from October 24, 2005 to November 6, 2005. The main results of this study were as follows: Statistically significant differences were shown between importance and performance of interaction quality, physical environment quality and outcome quality. Significant differences were also shown in importance and performance of interaction and physical environment quality, and performance of outcome quality by restaurant types but no significant difference was indicated in importance of outcome quality by restaurant types. That is, the importance of outcome quality, which means the quality of food, was regarded as important by customers who use restaurants regardless of types of restaurants. The result of examining interaction quality showed that family restaurants managed waiting customers quite well and provided information on the Internet homepage. Performance of responding to customers with complaints was rated the highest in family restaurants. Regarding physical environment quality, importance and performance scores significantly differed by types of restaurants in order of fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants, and fast-food restaurants. In terms of service encounter quality, items whose importance scores were high but performance scores were low in importance-performance analysis matrix were 'quality of provided food is always uniform' and 'the space between other tables is enough' for fine-dining restaurants. In family restaurants, 'size of chairs or tables is enough', and 'the space between other tables is enough' were included in the items, while 'interior facilities are attractive', 'size of chairs and tables is enough', and 'the space between other tables is enough' were included in the items in case of fast-food restaurants. A difference was indicated depending on types of restaurants.

Design and Implementation of Library Chatbot for Non-face-to-face Reference Services (비대면 참고정보서비스를 위한 도서관 챗봇 설계 및 구현 연구)

  • This study explores the potential of using a library chatbot to improve the non-face-to-face digital reference services for academic library users by designing and implementing a library chatbot. Through data analysis, user needs and library services were analyzed, and a scenario was designed by selecting an appropriate development method. For user-friendly interaction, the personality of the chatbot and user interface was designed to evaluate its usability. In addition, the accuracy was verified through the response accuracy evaluation and performance evaluation of the chatbot, and the effectiveness of the chatbot was evaluated through a user satisfaction survey. In order to manage the operation and maintain service quality, the chatbot is improved by monitoring user-chatbot conversations and reflecting user feedback. Based on these findings, recommendations for designing and implementing a library chatbot were made to help improve library reference services.

  • 비구조화되고 예측 불가능한 환경에서 동작하는 지능형 로봇의 제어를 위한 프로그램의 개발은 범용 컴퓨터에서 수행되는 일반 응용프로그램과는 달리 로봇이 존재하는 세계와의 복잡한 상호작용을 전제로 하고 있다. 이러한 전제는 로봇 프로그램에게 순차성과 더불어 병행성, 예외처리, 외부세계와의 인터페이스 등을 요구하며 더불어 로봇소프트웨어 제어구조가 특정 하드웨어나 플랫폼에 의존적이지 않고 여러 하드웨어 플랫폼에 두루 적용될 수 있는 구조가 요구된다. 로봇 소프트웨어 아키텍처는 이러한 요구에 기반하여 프로그래밍의 복잡성과 반복성을 줄이고 로봇을 보다 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 구조를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 로봇 소프트웨어 아키텍처에 대한 최근의 연구동향에 대하여 살펴보고 신성장동력의 하나인 IT 기반 지능형서비스 로봇을 위한 로봇 소프트웨어 아키텍처의 최근의 연구현황에 대하여 소개한다.

A Study on the Library Space in the Emerging Ubiquitous Environment (유비쿼터스 시대 도서관 공간에 관한 연구)

  • The library space has historically been influenced by the change of its information and social environment. This paper describes the effect of ubiquitous environment on the library's space, by literature review, case analysis. and focus-group interview of 5 undergraduate students. The results show that the library's physical place is still important for users, and suggest the library information space design and management need to reflect the open-ness and the interactive-ness of the ubiquitous space.

  • Software adaptation may be required to interact between heterogeneous platforms and to react to rapid change of environment in ubiquitous computing. Web service provides a way to use heterogeneous and distributed services or resources to utilize and organize them. But it is not easy to retrieve appropriate services when we search services because web service lacks of semantic information. Semantic web service provides additional information of services, but it does not support a method to match them in various ways. We can adapt and extend web applications by using web service, but a method for management and administration is still needed. Therefore in this paper, we propose a framework for dynamic growing of web service applications based on ESB(Enterprise Service Bus) and agent and provide a prototype to show its usefulness.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경에서는 개체가 특별히 소비자를 지정하지 않고 메시지를 송신하는 것과 같은 메시지 전송방법을 자주 사용하게 된다. 이런 통신 방법으로 기존에는 N:1 클라이언트/서버 통신 방법을 기반기술로 하였으나 컴퓨팅 기기들이 점점 산재되고, 기기들의 이동성 또한 증가되면서, 이러한 통신 모델은 여러 형태의 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에 적용하기에는 불충분하게 되었다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 포함한 오늘날의 많은 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 여러 응용들의 메시지 상호작용을 위해 간접 통신 모델을 사용하고 있다. 전통적인 통신 모델을 사용하는 대신에 같은 간접 통신 모델을 이용하면, 분산 환경에서의 응용들 사이의 결합도를 감소시키고 많은 정적인 요구들을 제거할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 환경을 만들기 위해 UPnP 기반의 안전한 메시지 통신 서비스를 설계하고 구현한다. 구현된 서비스는 내용기반의 검색이 가능하고, SPKI/SDSI 인증서를 이용하여 정당한 권한을 지닌 제공자와 소비자만이 메시지를 주고받을 수 있도록 한다.
