Recently, the number of academic conference information on the Internet has rapidly increased, the automatic classification of academic conference information according to research subjects enables researchers to find the related academic conference efficiently. Information provided by most conference listing services is limited to title, date, location, and website URL. However, among these features, the only feature containing topical words is title, which causes information insufficiency problem. Therefore, we propose methods that aim to resolve information insufficiency problem by utilizing web contents. Specifically, the proposed methods the extract main contents from a HTML document collected by using a website URL. Based on the similarity between the title of a conference and its main contents, the topical keywords are selected to enforce the important keywords among the main contents. The experiment results conducted by using a real-world dataset showed that the use of additional information extracted from the conference websites is successful in improving the conference classification performances. We plan to further improve the accuracy of conference classification by considering the structure of websites.

To understand the present status and the development of the digital reference service in Korean public libraries, a nationwide site observation was attempted in 2007. The collected data was analyzed, then compared with the previous analysis based on a 2003 data. For the 404 sites offering digital reference, operational characteristics, such as access level, service mode, link description, policy, web form, and FAQ, are analyzed, Performance analysis focused on the presence of question posting, volume of usage, response rate, and types of the questions, for the data collected for 15 days through question and answer transcript recording. Results reveal findings on the present situation as well as changes over 4 years. Related problems are identified. The conclusion includes suggestions for improving digital reference service.

This study presents the direction of services and policies for digital file management in universities by identifying undergraduate students' digital file management behavior. The research defined the Life Cycle of Digital Objects. In addition, This research collected data from 154 undergraduate students using an online survey on their file Creation, Storing, Naming, Organizing, and Backup based on the Digital File Management Workflow. Also, an in-depth interview was conducted for 8 students, two for each major in engineering, arts, social science, and humanities. The result showed that students mostly used personal computers as storage media and USB drive as backup media and had their own file Naming and Organizing methods. Furthermore, students' satisfaction with digital file management was high when universities supported software and cloud storage. Therefore, this study suggests that universities need to provide services reflecting the students' digital file management behavior.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the services provided to the patient based on the guidelines and standards due to the importance of the existence and role of the hospital library. The subject of investigation is foreign hospital library. As a result of the related search terms from search engine Google, researcher selected 90 overseas hospital library sites and examined the type of service based on guidelines and standards. As a result of the survey, services were provided mainly for 'basic service' and 'health information resource service' and 'health information resource service' was provided mainly for 'providing and delivering' rather than 'education'. 'Mental and psychological healing services' were found to be insufficient overall. The suggestion for providing hospital library service is as follows. First, it is necessary to provide library name and service that specialize only in patients. Second, it is necessary to expand bibliotherapy service, which is the center of hospital library service, especially providing culture, rehabilitation and entertainment programs, which are mental and mental healing services. Third, it is necessary to arrange human resources of health librarian and volunteer based on librarian.

'2007 대한민국 에너지대전'이 성공적으로 개최됐다. '에너지전시회'에서'대한민국 에너지대전'으로 명칭을 바꾼 이후 처음 열린 이번 행사는 지난 2일부터 5일까지 4일간 서울 삼성동 코엑스(COEX) 태평양홀에서 열렸고 방문객만 2만3000명을 넘어선 것으로 집계되고 있다. 지난 1975년 시작해 올해로 27회를 맞는 이번 행사는 일본.중국.영국.독일.네덜란드.오스트리아 등 총 17개국 192업체가 참가했고 코트라와 업무 협약을 맺어 다양한 해외 바이어들이 직접 참여하는 등 명실상부한 국제 에너지 이벤트 브랜드로 거듭나는 계기가 됐다는 평가를 받고 있다. 특히 이번 전시회에서는 신재생에너지와 기후대책, 에너지효율, 에너지기술 등 4개 분야에서 87개 주제로 약 90회에 걸친 세미나가 열려 새로운 정보에 대한 관람객들의 수요를 충족시켰다. 원스톱 서비스와 고객맞춤형 서비스 제공을 위한 전시회 통합 운영시스템(ExpoOffice)도입을 통해 출품 업체들이 온라인상에서 모든 업무과정을 간소화해 처리할 수 있었던 점도 참여 기업들의 편의 향상에 큰 도움이 됐다. 산업자원부가 주최하고 에너지관리공단이 주관하는 대한민국 유일의 에너지 종합 무역전시회인'2007 대한민국 에너지대전'의 현장을 스케치해본다.

지상파 UHD방송이 송출이 된지도 벌써 3년째에 접어들고 있다. 지상파 방송은 무료 보편적 서비스로 누구나가 받을 수 있도록 되어 있지만 실제적으로 방송을 수신하고 있는 가정은 소수인 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 관련된 UHD방송이 보편적 서비스가 가능하도록 하는 UHD방송공동수신설비에 관련된 현황을 조사하고자 한다. 기초적인 조사로 UHD방송공동수신설비의 구축을 위한 핵심장비인 UHD신호처리기는 다양한 명칭으로 제작되어 보급이 되고 있지만, 현재 UHD방송공동수신설비가 지원되는 사업 외에 자체적인 사례가 거의 없어 UHD방송을 시청하는 공동주택이 2.3%정도 인 것으로 파악된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 UHD방송 및 방송공동수신설비의 활성화를 위하여 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 가장 중요한 UHD방송 콘텐츠의 제작이 우선이다. 또한 지상파 방송만이 UHD방송을 하는 것이 아닌 유료방송사업자의 적극적인 참여도 중요하다. 그리고 기술의 적극적인 수용이다. ATSC3.0은 양방향 서비스뿐만 아니라 다양한 플렛폼과 융합될 수 있다. 마지막으로 지상파 방송의 무료 보편적 서비스로서 사회안전을 위한 재난방송의 활용 방안과 함께 UHD방송공동수신설비에도 소소출력 중계기를 외부에 설치하도록 하는 다양한 수신환경 구축이 요구된다할 수 있다.

To reduce maritime accidents and improve safety for domestic ships, the government has developed and is operating the Korean e-Navigation Service. The ship collision and grounding monitoring service and the route planning service were developed based on the experience of captains and navigators who navigated large ships. However, in Korea, small ships account for a large portion of the users of these services, so there are various difficulties and additional requirements for applying services based on large ships to small ships. To improve this, a data science-based algorithm model using maritime digital traffic information is being developed for small ships, and it is important to evaluate the performance of the developed model and compare its accuracy with existing services. In this study, we propose a performance evaluation method for the developed algorithm model and study how to compare and evaluate its accuracy with existing e-navigation services.

The history of modern libraries in Korea is less than 150 years. Nevertheless, there are various issues about when the word library appeared, how it was transformed, and the name and overall appearance of the library opened by the Busanpo branch of the Nihon Kodo-kai during the enlightenment period. Therefore, this study analyzed and argued many issues. As a result, it was found that the word library appeared in poetry collections, tombstones, and diaries from the early Joseon dynasty. Although it was widely held that the library was first introduced by Yu Gil-jun's 「Seoyugyeonmun, 1895」, it appeared in Lee Hun-young's 「Iisajipryak」 and was also introduced in 「Hanseongsunbo, 1884」. And the first name given to the facility was Kodo library, which was opened by the Busanpo branch on October 10, 1901. Book club, reading club (library), Busan(Busan district) library, Kodo bookstore, Kodo-kai library, etc. which are described in many documents are all errors. The location of the library was a temporary house on a leased site in Seosanhajeong of Yongdusan mountain. And it is presumed that it has secured about one room and 1,000 Japanese and Western books, and provided fee-based services to Japanese residents. Although the Kodo library is not the first public library established by a Korean, it is undeniable that it was the first public library to exist in Korea. Therefore, when defining the character of the Kodo library, it is necessary to have a coolness and discernment beyond national emotions, historical conflicts, and ideological frames.

This study aims to discuss what is needed for meaningful development of social service, focusing on Community Service Investment Project(CSIP). The contents of CSIP were analyzed on applying the Analytic Framework by N. Gilbert and H. Specht and the values that were the basis of social choice. Based on the analysis of output and policy value of this Project, this study draws three social service policy issues. First, 'localization' is needed to be emphasized more in CSIP because there are few programs that take into account the regional peculiarities. Second, as the social services focused on the individuality of the citizen is more important, it is necessary to examine 'sustainability' of CSIP. Third, in relation to the community building, it is necessary to discuss the modification of the CSIP's goals. As process for improving community, it is needed to review for local residents not participating in decision-making process, income-based user selection and appropriateness of the term 'investment' in the project name.
