The Belt with Rhinoceros-Horn Ornaments(known as a seodae in Korean) from the family of Princess Deokon's descendants housed in the National Hangeul Museum underwent emergency treatment for a special exhibition in 2019 upon the request of the National Hangeul Museum. Priority was given to the restoration of the original form of the severely damaged belt and the repair of its detached horn ornaments. Prior to the conservation treatment, researchers conducted a theoretical study of the belt with rhinoceros-horn adornments to learn the names of its structural components and the changes in form that the type experienced by period, thereby establishing a plan for conservation treatment and setting a direction. Among the belts worn by officials from the Joseon dynasty, rhinoceros-horn ornaments were attached to those of officials of the first rank and were considered the most precious behind the king's belt with its jade ornaments. The rhinoceros horn adorning the belt is classified into three categories according to quality. This belt has horn adornments of the highest quality, falling under the "grape design" category with dark brown dots concentrated in the center. The belt has a rectangular shape and lacks a buckle, reflecting a popular form from the nineteenth century. The structure of the belt was identified over the process of conservation treatment, offering information about its method of production. In addition, comparison of the relic with belts with rhinoceros-horn ornaments depicted in Joseon-period portraits of officials allowed the identification of changes in formal features and the detailed structures of belts with rhinoceros-horn ornaments by period. It confirmed that the belt subject to conservation treatment shows the features of belts with rhinoceros-horn ornaments produced in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Here is an introduction of the conservation and making process of Seodae(Rank Belt with A Rhinoceros' Horn) of the Chuncheon National Museum. The seodae has a structure composed of wrapping fabric around a leather frame and decorated with ttidon(an ornament) made of a rhinoceros' horn and a metal frame. The adhesion between leather was weak and separation was taking place, parts of the horn were missing and the fabric was discoloring. Also the metal frame and the metal wire attaching ttidon were severly corroded. Nondestructive analysis was carried out by using a portable x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy to analyze the components of the metal parts. Conservation was carried out by dismantling parts and carrying out conservation process of each one according to material, then the parts were put back together.

Apartments constitute 64% of the housing type composition, representing the highest proportion among housing types. This proportion has been increasing annually. Given this trend, apartment prices are likely to have a significant impact on the national economy and people's livelihoods. This study examines the impact of the recent development of Seodaegu Station on the surrounding apartment market, with a specific focus on the effects of the educational environment. To this end, we conduct empirical analysis employing a hedonic price model and spatial autocorrelation analysis, based on actual transaction price data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. The study revealed three key findings: first, the development of Seodaegu Station positively impacted apartment prices. Second, this positive effect increases with the proximity to Seodaegu Station. Third, the enhancement of the educational environment nearby the Seodaegu Station development also positively influenced apartment prices. This study aims to serve as baseline research output for the public management of future metropolitan transportation facility development projects and for predicting apartment price trends.

가재울뉴타운은 강북의 대표적인 불량 주택 밀집 지역으로 2차 뉴타운 사업 지구 중 가장 빠른 사업 속도를 보이고 있다. 이곳은 2003년 11월, 2차 뉴타운으로 지정된 후 지난해 6월 가재울 2구역, 11월 가재울 1구역이 착공식을 가졌다. 서대문구의 새로운 주거 중심지로 변모될 가재울뉴타운을 찾았다.

최근 MPEG-4를 이용한 멀티미디어 응용이 활성화되고 있으나 아직까지는 단방향의 멀티미디어 스트리밍 전송이 대부분이다. 본 논문에서는 일반 사용자의 요구 사항을 서대 측에 전송할 수 있도록 하는 양방향의 멀티미디어 전송을 위한 시스템 설계에 대해 기술한다. 이 시스템은 서버측의 MPEG-4 컨텐츠를 클라이언트에서 키워드를 이용하여 원하는 부분의 내용을 검색하여 스트림 전송해서 받을 수 있도록 한다 검색하고자 하는 키워드를 입력하면 해당 키워드의 장면트리구조에서 검색된 위치에서부터 MPEG-4 파일을 재생할 수 있는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 키워드 입력 인터페이스를 포함하는 MPEG-4 저작 도구의 구성이 대해 소개한다.

우리 나라 수산식품은 삼면의 바다에서 생산되는 풍부한 자원으로 이를 가공하여온 오랜 전통이 있으나, 최근에 와서 이런 전통들이 없어졌거나 계승되었다 할지라도 사라져 가고 있다. 전해 내려오는 전통수산식품을 정리해보면 1. 서구에서는 가공되어 왔으나 우리 나라에서는 없었던 것으로 알려져 왔던 훈제품으로 은어 훈제품, 청어 훈제품이 있었다. 2. 가자미, 서대, 도다리 등은 중간수분식품으로 가공되어 왔으며 지금도 유통되고 있다. 3. 동건품인 황태와 염건품인 굴비는 발효를 겸한 식품이다. 4. 염건 숭어알은 특이한 가공품이다. 5. 멸치, 굴, 홍합자숙액으로 魚간장을 제조했었다. 6. 어리굴젓, 꼴뚜기젓 등은 숙성을 잘 이용한 저염 젓갈이다. 7. 멸치젓, 새우젓, 곤쟁이젓 조기젓 등으로 만든 젓국은 약염으로 이용되어 왔다. 8. 홍합, 굴, 바지락, 해상 등 장기 보장을 위해 자건품이 가공되었다.

This is the first report of Brachirus annularis (Pleuronectiformes: Soleidae) from Korea. A specimen of B. annularis (229.0 mm standard length) was firstly collected by drift gill net at a fishing ground locating between Jejudo and Geomundo Islands, the southern coast of Korea on 31 March, 2019. This species was characterized by having five large, deep colored patches on the ocular side of body, each patch outlined by dark brown ring, united dorsal and anal fins jointed with caudal fin, and short pectoral fin. We add this species to the Korean fish fauna and propose its new Korean names, "Eol-luk-seo-dae-sok" and "Eol-luk-seo-dae" for the genus and species, respectively.

본 연구는 사전준비 조사 부족 등의 사유로 인하여 당초 목표했던 효율성이 발휘되지 못하고 있는 지적도면 정보화의 문제점을 조사하고 개선방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 서울시 기술분야 공무원을 대상으로 실무에서 가장 빈번하게 사용되고 있는 지도를 조사한 후, 종로구와 서대문구를 사례지역으로 정보화된 지적도면의 오류유형 분석 및 인터넷 토지정보 서비스 등 현재 활용되고 있는 업무를 조사하였다. 또한, 건설교통부ㆍ행정자치부를 비롯한 중앙정부 및 지방자치단체에서 개별적으로 추진하고 있는 지적도면 정보화 사업의 문제점을 조사하고 개선방향을 제시하였다. 따라서, 실무적인 차원에서 정보화가 완료된 지적행정시스템과 지적도면 정보화 자료를 연계하여 다양한 토지정보원으로의 기능 등을 담당할 수 있는 기반을 마련할 수 있는 방향을 제시할 수 있었다.

트랜스코딩은 이미 압축된 비디오를 이질적인 클라이언트에게 적응적으로 전달하기 위한 해결책이다. 일반적으로, 계산량을 줄이기 위해서 제안된 트랜스코딩 기법들은 비디오 화질의 열화를 발생시키고 그와 반대의 경우는 많은 계산량을 초래한다. 이와 같은 계산량과 화질 사이의 문제를 해결하기 위해서 여러가지 측면이 연구되어 왔다. 하지만. 대부분의 연구가 트랜스코더 내부에 한정되어 있었고, 서버 측과의 상호작용을 통한 성능 향상에 대한 연구는 적었다. 멀티미디어 데이터를 전력과 성능이 낮은 단말기 또는 낮은 대역폭의 네트워크에 속한 이질적인 클라이언트에 서비스할 때 트랜스코더 자체의 해결 방안에 서버 측에의 특정 잡업을 추가할 경우 트랜스코더에서 실제 처리해야 하는 프레임의 개수를 줄일 수 있는 서비스 효율의 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 효율적인 트랜스코더와 서대 측 기반의 알고리즘을 함께 고려하여 계산 처리 과정을 줄일 수 있는 트랜스코더 시스템 구조를 제안한다.
