In the history of Chinese mathematics, Xu Guang-qi (徐光啓) is a person who translated and published Western mathematics in China and used it to reconstruct Chinese calendrical system. In this paper, we explored his thoughts on the background of his accomplishments and the circumstances under which such thoughts were made.

In 1607, Matteo Ricci and Xu Guangqi translated Euclid's 《Elements》 and published 《Jihe yuanben, 幾何原本》. Though 《Elements》 consists of 13 volumes (or 15 volumes according to its editions), they translated only the first 6 volumes on the plane geometry. Why did they do so? This paper discusses about the three questions which naturally arise: What might be the motive of the translation of the 《Elements》? What method did they adopt for the translation? And why did they translate the 6 volumes, especially, the first 6 volumes, not completing the whole?

본 고에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 지중 배전전력케이블의 절연재료의 문제점을 살펴보고 절연파괴의 전단계인 열화과정을 억제시킬 수 있는 방법과 이를 이용하여 절연성능이 향상된 새로운 절연재료를 제조하는 연구방향을 소개하고자 한다.

The sensory and instrumental characteristics of warm and cool cooked rices with pressure and electric cookers were examined. The types of rice varieties tested were Choucheong (traditional rice variety) Samgang and Seogwang (high-yielding rice varietis) The result of sensor evaluation revealed more significant differences in most of appearance, texture characteristics than flavour. The difference of sensory characteristics according to the types of cookers and the warm or cool cooked rices was greatest in Seogwang among three varieties. The instrumental measurement of cooked rices using instron showed that the difference between types of varieties and cookers was more clearly in cool cooked rices than warm ones. Especially hardness in instrumental characteristics revealed highly signficant difference. With regard to the correlation between instrumental and sensory characteristics, hardness had a significantly high correlation with texture while others had low ones.

본 대학 건축설비과는 1995년 12월 대한설비공사협회 서울특별시회와 위탁교육에 관한 계약을 맺고 1996학년도에 협회 산하업체 직원 40명에 대한 별도학급을 편성하여 위탁교육을 실시하고 있으며, 1997학년도에도 39명에 대한 별도학급을 편성하여 위탁교육을 실시하였다. 위탁교육제도는 산업체 종사자들에 대해 전문지식의 습득기회를 확대하여 기술변화에 대응할 수 있는 능력을 함양시키고 기업의 경쟁력을 강화시키는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 2년째로 접어든 건축설비과 위탁교육과정을 합리적으로 운영하고 교육생들의 학습의욕을 능동적으로 고취시켜 산업계의 기술변화에 적절히 부응할 수 있는 교육방안을 마련하기 위하여 1,2학년 위탁교육생들의 설문으로 교육생 성향을 분석하고 교육지도 방안, 산업체 지도방안 그리고 홍보 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

새로운 IT 환경에서의 변화를 이해하고 경쟁력 있는 클라우드 생태계를 구축하며, 지속가능한 성장을 위한 경쟁정책을 수립하기 위해서는 먼저 우리나라 IT시장의 구조와 그 변화를 정확히 이해하는 것이 필요하다. IT시장의 구조를 이해하기 위한 과거의 선행연구들은 통신시장을 배경으로 수직적 가치사슬 구조를 중심으로 설명한 것이 대부분이었으나, 최근 들어 이슈로 부각하고 있는 클라우드 생태계에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 IT시장에서의 클라우드 서비스의 등장에 따른 가치사슬의 변화를 이해하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 연구 문헌들을 통하여 기업 또는 산업의 공급 구조, 그리고 시장의 생태계를 설명하기 위해 사용하는 기본 틀인 가치사슬의 개념을 정의하고, 이를 통하여 우리나라 IT시장의 가치사슬에 대해, 특히 클라우드 서비스 도입이후의 우리나라 IT시장의 변화를 반영하여 그 구조의 변화를 설명하며, 이를 바탕으로 우리나라 IT시장을 진단하고 시장의 성장을 견인하는 요인들을 파악하도록 한다. 본 연구를 통해 가치사슬 관점에서 IT시장을 이해함으로써, 클라우드 서비스 산업의 경쟁력을 높이고, 향후 클라우드 기반으로 IT생태계를 구축하기 위한 이론적 근거로 활용되길 기대한다.

This experiment was conducted to study on some morphological characteristics of rice grain and chaff with specific gravity. The size of grain was greater in grains with heavier specific gravity. Indica varieties were large in length, but short in width and thickness of grain, and was thin in grain form and small in volume of grain compared with Japonica variety. The coefficient of variability was high in grains with lower specific gravity. The accumulation of assimilation product was more influenced with width and thickness rather than length of grain. The percentage of fully ripened grain was high in small size variety. The green rice and imperfect grain showed higher distribution ratio in the lower specific gravity. The chaff of less filled grain had higher content of nitrogen and lower content of potassium and sillicate than the filled.
