신세대 주부의 생활예절의식이 생활예절수행에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of New Generation Housewives′Etiquette Awareness on their Etiquette Implementation)

  • The first purpose of this study is to inquire into the effect of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness on their etiquette implementation. For this purpose, this study will search the levels of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness and etiquette implementation, how the etiquette awareness and etiquette implementation vary according to their background variables, and the effect of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness as well as the background variables on their etiquette implementation. The major findings are as follows . First, the level of etiquette awareness was somewhat higher than that of etiquette implementation. Second, generally, their etiquette awareness didn't show a significant difference by the socio-demographic variables, but showed a significant difference by the psychological variables including communication level and humanism/materialism value orientation. Third, new generation housewives'etiquette implementation showed a significant difference only by monthly income like etiquette awareness. Meanwhile, as the psychological variables, etiquette implementation showed a significant difference by all Psychological variables except sex-role attitude. fourth, according to result of looking into relative influence of socio-demographic variables, psychological variables, and etiquette awareness about etiquette implementation, etiquette awareness was a significant variable which affects etiquette implementation.

청소년의 예절의식 및 예절수행에 관한 연구 (Variables Related to Etiquette Consciousness and Performance of Adolescents)

  • This study was to examine the differences in the levels of etiquette consciousness and performance of adolescents according to individual variables (sex, school, and self-esteem), family-related variables (parents' age and education level, and subjectively perceived living standard), and. etiquette-related variables (communication on etiquette, experience of etiquette education, parents' interest of and necessity. of etiquette education). The subjects were 394 middle and high school students in Jeonju. Such statistictical methods as t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were performed for this research. Results showed that the levels of etiquette consciousness and performance were slightly high. Among the domains of etiquette consciousness and performance, the levels of bowing manner and public etiquette were found to be relatively high. The etiquette consciousness and performance were different. according to adolescents' self-esteem, subjective living standard, and such etiquette variables as communication on etiquette, experience of etiquette education, parent's interest and necessity of etiquette education. Communication on etiquette was the most powerful variable influencing adolescents' etiquette performance. The results implied that the etiquette education need to be performed both in family and in school.

대학생의 생활예절에 대한 가치의식과 수행 (The Consciousness of Values and Enactments toward the Etiquette among University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the general trends, to determine the factors of influencing the consciousness of values and enactments in the etiquette among university students, and eventually to provide the useful information for etiquette education of university students. Four-hundred and forty university students from four different universities in Cheongju city were selected, and questionnaire survey method was utilized. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, stepwise regression analysis, and Pearson's correlation analysis using SAS program. The results and the conclusions of this study were as follows; 1) The level of value consciousness and enactments in the etiquette were found to be 3.92 and 3.42 respectively(mean 3.00). 2) There were significant differences in the value consciousness according to major, parents' age, fathers' job, family types, and the experience of etiquette education, and there were significant differences in enactments according to sex, religion, having girl/boy friends, growth place, parents' age, and the experience of etiquette education. 3) It was found that main educator of etiquette was most highly influencing factor on consciousness of value, and sex, age were most highly influencing factors on enactments in the etiquette. 4) There were positive strong relationships between value consciousness and enactments in the etiquette.

정약용의 윤리교육론 (The ethical education theory of Jeong Yak-yong)

  • 정약용은 주자학에 대한 비판을 통해 새로운 사상체계의 정립을 시도하였다. 다산의 사상 가운데 가장 중요한 분야의 하나는 윤리사상에 관한 것이다. 다산은 윤리사상뿐 아니라 윤리교육에 대해서도 남다른 관심을 가지고 있었다. 그는 유배지에서 인근의 아동들을 모아서 교육하는 가운데 "제경(弟經)"을 편찬해서 가르쳤다. 다산은 "소학(小學)"이 아동들을 대상으로 교육하는데 있어서 일부 문제가 있다고 여겨서 "제경"을 편찬하였다. "제경"은 "소학"에 비해 내용이 간결하고, 철저하게 아동중심의 교재이며 일상생활의 실천예절 위주로 구성되어 있다. 부모 스승 어른에 대한 예절, 일상에서의 음식예절, 남녀 사이의 예절 등을 포함하고 있다. 비록 내용이 "소학"의 범위를 크게 벗어난 것은 아니지만, 합리적인 내용을 선택하였으며 실천적인 내용을 중심으로 구성하여 실용적이라고 할 수 있다. 다산은 논어 맹자 대학 중용 등 사서(四書)에 대해서도 새로운 해석을 시도하였다. 다산의 사서에 대한 새로운 해석서도 넓은 의미의 윤리교육의 교재로 볼 수 있다. 다산은 사서의 핵심적인 윤리적 원리가 서(恕)라고 보았다. 따라서 성인을 위한 윤리교육에 있어서는 서(恕)라는 윤리적 원리를 올바르게 이해하고 실천하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 여겼다. 그리고 다산은 도덕적 마음을 유지하기 위해서는 상제(上帝)의 존재를 이해하고 수용하는 것이 필요하다고 인식하였다. 마음 수양을 위해서는 늘 상제(신)의 존재를 의식하고 경외(敬畏)하는 계신공구(戒愼恐懼), 그리고 혼자만이 아는 것에 대해서도 삼가는 신독(愼獨)이 매우 중요하다고 이해하였다. 다산은 윤리교육의 궁극적 근거와 기초를 형이상학적 태극이 아니라 인격적 상제의 존재에서 찾고자 하였다. 이것은 상제의 존재를 받아들이지 못하는 사람들에게는 설득력에 한계가 있다는 문제를 남긴다.

차문화와 예절에 관한 연구: 연지화개기호차를 중심으로 (A Study on Tea Culture and Manner: focused on the Blooming Lotus Pond Tea)

  • This is a historical study of the tea culture and its manners after checking the origin of the tea culture in Korea. Also I created the Blooming Lotus Pond Tea which can be utilized in various meetings or at homes in connection with the tea culture and etiquette by studying good manners, clothing and light refreshments in 'Kyucongyogyul' by Lee-E, 'Karyejibramdo' by Kim Jang-Seng and other books of the Chosun Dynasty. I created the Blooming Lotus Pond Tea by referring to the tea-ceremonies described in the poems by Hong Inmo, his wife, Lady Suh, and her descendants. They can be better harmonized with the modem tea culture rather than the strict procedures of traditional court ceremonies or marriage, funeral, and other formal tea ceremonies. About the costumes of the nobilities, that is especially referred to Kyukmongyogyul by Lee-I of the Chosun Dynasty for the etiquette, also 'The Living Manners' by Professor Lee Gilpyo and Choi Baeyong. In addition, the tea-food is made based on 'the five elements'. The Blooming Lotus Pond Tea is made of frozen lotus flowers and prepared in the lotus formed broad-rimmed tea-utensils and supposed to be shared with family members or guests. It's recommended to hold a poetry-party with a tea-party. At present, this kind of daily tea ceremony is being developed at homes. It'll be desirable if it could recreate the traditional way as a ceremonial tea culture. In that case, it'll regain the quality of the traditional etiquette by harmonizing tea culture and manners. Such a tea culture can contribute to the quality of people's ordinary life and the identity of our country.
