이 글에서는 생활 지원 서비스 로봇에 대하여 살펴 보고, 기존의 생활 지원 로봇과 실버 로보틱스의 차이점을 소개하기로 한다. 그리고 실버 로보틱스 관련 연구 프로젝트의 현황과 이러한 연구들이 성공적으로 이루어졌을 때 앞으로 노인들의 삶이 어떻게 변화하게 될지 전망해 보도록 한다.

Today human rights are the most complex and prominent issue in the system of international law, and the right to housing(housing right) is also recognized as a basic human right in the international human right instruments including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This study targets to comprehensive review of the housing rights provisions with 85 international human rights laws and instruments. And the contents and characteristics of housing rights are analyzed with categorization based on housing rights in general, housing rights of workers, socially vulnerable groups, international regional organizations. Housing right takes also the features of universality, indivisibility, interdependence, and right to adequate housing should be interpreted with holistic view including legal security of tenure, accessibility, affordability, location beyond ensuring just a physical housing space. Approaches to the housing right comprehensively reflect the view of the right to development, the perspective of gender equality, the principle of non-discrimination, the participation rights, and orient the housing right should be seen as the right to live somewhere in security(safety), peace and dignity.

The purpose of the present study is to provide policy implications for successful development of the metropolitan economic zone in Korea followed by in-depth case studies on the US Metropolitan Economic Region. This study looked into diverse experiences of the US mega regions investigating their key strategies, requirements and standards, etc. Urban areas in the US are designated based on CBSA, a standard for statistical area since 1950. The US has a clear standard to define rural and suburban area and is trying to reflect urban structural changes including suburbanization. The US annexation system is relatively simple to operate. Furthermore, the system helps the growth of rural areas by gradually incorporating rural areas into urban areas. We found that action plans of the US mega regions facilitate strategic growth and development for balanced territorial development, incorporating multi-dimensional and comprehensive approaches. We also found that the US mega regions are designated with regard to the local natures. Couple of policy implications were extracted from the US experiences. First, since the construction of mega regions in Korea concerns less on the inter-regional connections with other regions, we need to incorporate diverse standards to divide the regions with respect to the spatial and local characteristics. Second, local governments should collaborate with each other for successful economic development of the metropolitan economic zones. Administrative districts renovation can be a immediate and effective solution to facilitate the collaboration. We recommended to consider consolidating administrative areas to construct successful metropolitan economic zones.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of 'self-esteem' between 'learning agility' and 'university life adaptation' in university students of non-metropolitan areas. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, 'self-awareness' and 'growth-oriented' of learning agility was influenced on university life adaptation positively. Second, 'self-esteem' was found to have a mediating effect between learning agility and university life adaptation. The results of the above study indicated that 'self-awareness' and 'growth-oriented' of learning agility and 'self-esteem' was important factors on university life adaptation in non-metropolitan university students. Based on the above research results, the theoretical and practical implications was suggested.
