A Robust Speaker Identification Method Based on the Wavelet Filter Banks (웨이블렛 필터뱅크에 기반을 둔 강인한 화자식별 기법)

  • This paper proposes a robust speaker identification algorithm based on the wavelet filter banks and multiple decision-making scheme. Since the proposed speaker identification algorithm has a structure performing the identification algorithm independently for each subband, the noise effect of an subband can be localized. Through this process, we can obtain more robust results for the environmental noises which generally have band limited frequency. In the experiments, the proposed method showed more 15∼60% improvement than the vector quantization method for the various noisy environments.

  • The purpose of this study is to carry out comparative analysis of the differences between the trend of biometrics-related system(security) standardization in the world and that of Korea, and to suggest ideal directions and building plans for domestic biometrics industry. Its purpose also includes constructing promptly a standardization of domestic biometrics industry based on the suggested standards.

  • Fingerprint Recognition System is made up of Off-line treatment and On-line treatment; the one is registering all the information of there trier features which are retrieved in the digitalized fingerprint getting out of the analog fingerprint through the fingerprint acquisition device and the other is the treatment making the decision whether the users are approved to be accessed to the system or not with matching them with the fingerprint features which are retrieved and database from the input fingerprint when the users are approaching the system to use. In this paper, Among various biometrics recognition systems, statistical fingerprint recognition matching methods are considered using minutiae on fingerprints. We define similarity distance measures based on the coordinate and angle of the minutiae, and suggest a fingerprint recognition model following statistical distributions.

  • 지문인식 시스템이란 저장되어서 가지고 있는 지문data와 지금 현재sensor로 입력받은 지문data의 유사도를 측정하는 system이다. 현 시대의 보안에 관한 요구가 많아지면서, 개인password나PIN(Personal Identification Number)같이 외워서 사용해야만 하는 불편함이 없고, 본인임을 쉽게 증명할 수 있는 생체정보를 이용한 ID system이 각광을 받고 있다. 이러한 상황 속에서 가장 손쉽게 접할 수 있는Finger-print Identification system을 구현할 것이다. 지문인식 시스템은 sensor의 방식에 따라 여러가지로 분류되는데, 본 논문에서는 광학방식 센서를 이용한 지문인식 시스템을 구현 하였다. 본 지문인식 시스템은 처음 지문영상을 센서로 입력 받고 그 입력된 영상을 전처리(pre-processing)해서 지문의 특징점을 추출한다. 이렇게 특징점들을 획득한 후, 후처리(post-processing)과정을 거쳐서 database에 저장 한다. 이렇게 지문영상의database를 구성한 후, 비교하고자 하는 지문영상을 센서로 입력 받아 지문영상을 획득할 때와 같은 processing과정을 거치고, 그 결과물과 database에 저장되어있는 지문과 1:N matching을 한다. 이렇게 해서 유사한 지문영상을 유사도에 따라 출력한다.

A Development of Framework for Selecting Labor Attendance Management System Considering Condition of Construction Site (건설 현장 특성을 고려한 출역관리시스템 선정 프레임워크 개발)

  • Labor attendance management has traditionally been carried out by writing a table for checking an attendance of labor, which requires a lot of time and effort. As electronic devices with additions such as barcodes, Quick Response codes, and Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) have been developed, however, automated labor attendance management systems have appeared. Recently, various types of labor recognition devices converged with biometrics (fingerprint, vein, face recognition, etc.) have been released. However, although these devices can be used to check attendance automatically, there is insufficient guidance when it comes to selecting the appropriate labor attendance management system for construction sites. Therefore, this study proposed a decision framework to determine which labor attendance management system would be suitable for a construction site and to select the labor recognition device. This study investigated different labor recognition devices, focusing on how they worked, and tested the performance of devices and their usability for construction labor attendance management. The test results showed that RFID is most suitable when verifying the attendance of many laborers over a short period of time. The devices for hand vein and fingerprint recognition did not function when there was a foreign material such as cement or paint on the laborer's hand, except for a deformed finger. Reflecting these test results, this study suggested a framework for selecting a labor attendance system and recognition device; this is expected to contribute to the development of more efficient labor management systems.

  • In the case of the password-based PKI technology, because it protects by using the password which is easy that user memorizes the private key, he has the problem about the password exposure. In addition, in the system of electronic bidding, the illegal use using the authentic certificate of the others increases. Recently, in order to solve this problem, the research about the PKI technology using the biometrics is actively progressed. If the bio information which the user inputs for the bio authentication is converted to the template, the digest access authentication in which the security is strengthened than the existing authentication technology can be built. Therefore, in this paper, we had designed and developed the system of electronic bidding which it uses the most widely used fingerprint information in the biometrics, it stores the user fingerprint information and certificate in the fingerprint security token and can authenticate the user. In case of using the system of electronic bidding of the public key infrastructure using the fingerprint information proposed in this paper the agent bid problem that it uses the certificate of the others in not only user authentication intensification but also system of electronic bidding can be concluded.

  • 생명체의 면역계는 외부에서 침입해 세포나 장기에 피해를 주는 물질인 항원을 스스로 자기세포와 구분해 인식하고 제거하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 이러한 면역계의 특징 중의 하나는 항원과 구별되는 자기 세포의 확실한 인식을 가지고 구분하는 자기/비자기(self/non-self) 인식방법이다. 이러한 기능을 가장 잘 보여주는 면역 T세포 중의 하나인 세포독성 T세포(T-cytotoxic Cell)는 자기세포를 인식하는 부분과 항원으로 인식하는 부분으로 구성되어 항원에 의해 감염된 자기세포를 찾아 제거하는 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 생명체의 면역계에서 중요한 역할을 하는 세포독성 T세포의 생성중의 자기인식 과정의 하나인 Positive Selection을 모델링하여 자기-인식 알고리즘 구현하였다. 구현한 알고리즘을 자기 공간의 국소변경과 블록변경에 대한 자기인식률을 통해 알고리즘의 유효성을 검증하며 응용 시스템으로 지문 인식에 적용하였다.

  • Proximity sensors and rearview cameras for automobile safety are common, but many accidents are still occurring. Using the All Around View and object recognition algorithm to show the front, back, left, right and bottom of the vehicle, the sensor detects the presence of a living body when the vehicle starts or parks, and displays the outside of the vehicle on the screen. In addition, the object recognition algorithm is used to visualize the object by expressing the position of the object. In this way, we propose a strong safety system that can prevent human accidents caused by the vehicle by sensing, screen, and expression.

  • 본 논문에서는 유헬스 시스템에 가장 기본이 되는 생체정보 측정에 대하여 하나의 휴대용 인터페이스만을 가지고 다양한 생체정보 측정기와 연계하여 다양한 생체정보를 취득할 수 있도록 하는 이식성 있는 임베디드 미들웨어 PSI(Portable Sensor Interface)를 제안한다. PSI는 U-health 서비스를 제공하기 위해 측정기 자동인식, 데이터 취득, 위험요소 표시 및 데이터 수집장치(DAS)와의 통신을 담당하는 기능을 갖는다.

A Multiple Signature Authentication System Based on BioAPI for WWW (웹상의 BioAPI에 기반한 서명 다중 인증 시스템)

  • Biometric authentication is rising technology for the security market of the next generation. But most of biometric systems are developed using only one of various biological features. Recently, there is a vigorous research for the standardization of various biometric systems. In this paper, we propose a web-based authentication system using three other verifiers based on functional, parametric, and structural approaches for one biometrics of handwritten signature, which is conformable to a specification of BioAPI introduced by BioAPI Consortium for a standardization of biometric technology. This system is developed with a client-server structure, and clients and servers consist of three layers according to the BioAPI structure. The proposed neb-based multiple authentication system of one biometrics can be used to highly increase confidence degree of authentication without additional several biological measurements, although rejection rate is a little increased. That is, the false accept rate(FAR) decreases on the scale of about 1:40,000, although false reject rate(FRR) increases about 2.7 times in the case of combining above three signature verifiers. So the proposed approach can be used as an effective identification method on the internet of an open network. Also, it can be easily extended to a security system using multimodal biometrics.
