  • 본 연구는 1990년대 초 중반의 한국의 화력발전소 자료를 이용하여 발전부문의 생산성 변화를 분석하되, 생산성 변화를 발전소간의 효율성 격차에 의한 부문과 발전부문 전체의 생산함수 이동을 통해 나타나는 기술변화로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석결과, 화력발전소간에는 의미있는 정도의 효율성 격차가 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 분석에 포함된 기간 동안 연평균 약 5% 정도의 생산성 증가가 발생하였고, 이 가운데 효율성 격차의 해소를 통한 생산성 증가가 약 2%, 그리고 기술진보에 의한 생산성 증가가 약 3%를 차지하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 네트워크 특성을 반영하여 생산성을 분할함에 있어 1인당 소비량 효과, 소비자 밀도 효과, 시스템 규모 효과 등을 추가적인 원인요소로 고려하는 네트워크 산업 생산성 분석 방법론을 제시하고, 이 방법론을 천연가스산업에 적용하여, 한국, 미국, 캐나다, 프랑스, 이태리, 일본의 가스산업 생산성에 대한 국제비교분석을 수행하였다. 실증분석 결과, 미국과 캐나다의 경우, 생산성 증대(productivity growth)의 가장 주요한 요소가 1인당 소비량 증대 효과로 나타났으며, 일본과 프랑스의 경우 기술진보, 그리고 이태리의 경우 주로 소비자 밀도변화를 통해 생산성 증가가 이루어졌음을 알 수 있었다. 한국의 경우에는 시스템 확장과 1인당 소비량 증가가 생산성을 증가시킨 주요 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 생산성 수준 격차의 국제비교 결과, 한국의 생산성 수준은 일본을 제외하고 가장 낮은 수준에 있으며, 이러한 생산성 격차 (productivity difference) 의 주원인은 1인당 소비량 차이에서 발생한 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 생산성 증대를 위해서는 1인당 소비량 증진을 위한 산업 정책의 추진이 가장 긴요한 것임을 알 수 있었다.

  • Productivity is one of key management indexes for evaluating soundness of a manufacturing organization and its efficiency. In many aspects of productivity management in the construction industry, however, intuition of an experienced field manager still plays a greater role while productivity data is not utilized efficiently for the construction management purposes, because the collection and analysis of the productivity-related information are not systematic. Lack of systematic method in collecting and analyzing the productivity data results in such problems. The existing WBS should therefore be improved to solve them. The authors developed a new WBS for productivity data collection and analysis by following the research direction that was determined by literature reviews, overseas cases, and interviews with field engineers. The new breakdown structure was then evaluated for its feasibility as a productivity analysis framework. It is expected that the productivity data collected by the WBS will be used for OLAP and mining for future productivity forecast.

Productivity Changes in Korea Railway Lines Using MPI (MPI를 이용한 한국철도 노선별 생산성 변화 분석)

  • This paper uses MPI (Malmquist Production Index) method to provide basic information and policy direction derived to improve the productivity. This can identify whether or not the railroad service have excellent services, if there are structural problem, in which sector is experiencing a degree of productivity, in which sector should be set targets to some degree. According to the result, the productivity of Korea railway lines is measured 1.1 both publicity and profitability aspects. Changes in production technology were the most important causes. Strategic planning should consider to increase the productivity such as modernization of facilities and equipment, cost savings, and increase in productivity of employee and rail cars.

국내 항만배후단지 효율성 및 생산성 비교 분석

  • 항만배후단지는 항만과 인접한 배후공간으로 항만의 기능이 더욱 활성화될 수 있도록 지원한다. 하지만, 국내 항만배후단지는 단순한 항만물류지원기능에 국한되어 있으며 인프라 시설, 정책 및 지원, 투자 미흡 등으로 인하여 항만배후단지 활성화에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 국내 항만배후단지 업체별 내부자료를 바탕으로 DEA 분석 및 생산성 분석을 진행하여 국내 항만배후단지의 종합적인 정책방향을 도출하고자 하였다. DEA 분석결과 창고업의 경우 광양항 서측, 인천항 북항 항만배후단지가 효율적인 것으로 나타났으며, 제조업의 경우 인천항 북항, 울산항 1공구 항만배후단지가 효율적으로 나타났다. 또한, 외국인 투자규모별 생산성의 경우 광양항 서측, 평택당진항 1단계 항만배후단지가 높게 나타났으며, 시설 투자규모별 생산성은 광양항 서측, 인천항 북항 항만배후단지가 높은 생산성을 보였다. 마지막으로, 노동생산성은 인천항 북항, 부산항 웅동 항만배후단지가 가장 높은 생산성을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 항만배후단지 입주기업 선정 시 취급품목이 효율성에 중요한 영향을 주며, 외국인 투자규모, 시설 투자규모, 종업원 수가 항만배후단지의 생산성 향상으로 직결되고 있지 않다는 것을 나타낸다.

A Case Study on the Productivity Analysis for Korean Automobile Ports (국내 자동차부두별 생산성 사례 분석)

  • The domestic automobile industry is growing due to favourable government policies and changing technological innovations. As the automobile industry becomes more active, the role of dedicated docks facilitating automobile exports is also becoming prominent which can be identified as a sector still requiring comprehensive research. Accordingly, a case analysis of domestic automobile port productivity was conducted using empirical data collected from Korean automobile ports to compare and analyze their productivity and to present implications based on the findings. In the case of productivity analysis, facility, labor, working time, and cost productivity were calculated from (the beginning of) 2021 to the second quarter of 2022. The results of the analysis revealed the port D to achieve the highest productivity during the study period, followed by the ports B, C, and A, respectively. Based on the current situation of each automobile dock revealed through the results, strategies for future development is derived.

  • Proper management of construction productivity is one of the main drivers of project success. This research focuses on the development of a construction productivity analysis system based on Web and OLAP in order to effectively manage construction productivity. Throughout the research effort, a construction productivity analysis system was modeled using IDEFO & ERD techniques and was deployed on the WWW(World Wide Web). Based on the system modeling, this research studies the methodology for system development of construction productivity that can consult the decision of managers on job site.

An Analysis of Efficiency and Productivity of Metropolitan Urban Railway Corporation (광역도시권 철도운영기관의 효율성 및 생산성 분석 연구)

  • This study analyzed the efficiency change and the factors affecting productivity change for the six railway operation corporations that are local public enterprises; study was performed with the DEA-CCR Model and Malmquist Productivity Index, using data collected from 2010 to 2014. Since it was not feasible to collect data on the operating expenses and the number of employees of each of the lines, the efficiencies of each operation corporation were analyzed by integrating the operation corporations, and the Malmquist Productivity Index was used to investigate the trend of the periodical productivity change. Average efficiency for urban railway operation corporations was found to be higher in the case of the bigger corporations. In 2014, the Seoul Metro and the Daejeon Metropolitan Express Transit Corporations were analyzed and found to be the most efficient operation corporations. The Malmquist Productivity Index was used to determine the periodical change; the average MPI was 1.06, with a continuous increase of productivity. The analysis showed that changes of technology were generally more obvious than change of technology efficiency for all six operation corporations.

  • Construction delays are a common occurrence of most construction projects and difficult to analyze. there are some techniques to analyze delays, such as using CPM, Bar Chart but they are not enough to analyze concurrent and productivity lost delays. Productivity lost delays are different to interruption delays in computing the number of delays and analyzing concurrent delay. This paper describes the delay analysis method considering productivity including concurrent delay analysis.
