  • 본 논문은 도로 건설 공사 프로젝트들의 전 공정에 걸쳐 수행되는 모든 작업들을 대상으로 총 프로젝트 생산성 (Total Project Productivity)을 측정하고 분석하기 위한 방법을 소개한다. 측정 방법의 주안점은 복합적으로 병행되는 작업들의 생산량을 통합하여, 프로젝트 전체에 대한 포괄적인 생산성 값들을 구하는 방법을 개발하는데 두고 있다. 이 방법을 통해 Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)로부터 발주된 세 개의 실제 고속도로 건설 공사 프로젝트들로부터 수천 개의 총 프로젝트 생산성 데이터 값들이 얻어졌으며. 이를 바탕으로 프로젝트 생산성을 분석하기 위한 방법의 타당성 검증이 이루어졌다. 그 결과로, 프로젝트 레벨에서의 총 생산성은 건설 작업들에 관한 현장 자료를 바탕으로 측정과 분석이 이루어질 수 있음이 입증되었다.

The Impact of Wage Scheme and Transparency of Performance Evaluation on the Productivity (기업의 보상체계와 업무평가 투명성의 생산성 효과)

  • This paper analyses an impact of wage scheme and transparency of performance evaluation on the productivity. The main findings in this paper are as follows: First, the effect of wage scheme based on seniority system on the productivity is worse off than the performance pay. Second, there is a positive relationship between an incentive and the productivity, but, in the case of firms which individually informs the results of performance evaluation to their workers, it shows the hump-shaped relationship. Third, though the wage scheme is based on the performance, if the evaluation system is not transparent, the impact of incentive on the productivity is disappeared. Consequently, this paper implies that the appropriate incentive and the transparent performance evaluation system are required so as to improve the productivity.

  • The need for analysis of the operational efficiency and productivity of the Busan Port Container Terminal is increasing because of the Hanjin Shipping's bankruptcy and the re-establishment of the Maritime Alliance. This paper analyzes the efficiency and productivity of five Busan New Port Container Terminal companies by using the DEA analysis and Malmquist productivity index model based on the port construction disclosure data and the collected terminal internal data. According to the analysis, the average efficiency of the five container terminals increased in 2018 but declined slightly in 2019, and the Malmquist index showed that all terminals except A have advanced productivity. Additionally, relative to facility productivity, operators at the North Container Terminal had higher facility productivity than operators at the Busan New Port Nam Container Terminal, and regarding capital productivity, the D terminal ported by HMM, a national shipping company, was the highest in facility productivity. Regarding labor productivity, the C terminal showed the highest productivity, and regarding ship work productivity, the A terminal showed the highest productivity.

A Study on the Shift to Service Economy and Changes on Labor Productivity in the Service Industry (서비스경제로의 이행과 노동생산성 변화에 대한 국제비교연구)

  • This paper examines the shift to service economy in the developed countries including Korea and analyzes whether Baumol's cost disease hypothesis could explain the labor productivity growth in the developed countries even though the share of service industry is rising rapidly. We have found the following results: First, the shift to service economy is widely observed in the developed countries. Second, the productivity gap between manufacturing and service industry is widening as a result of stagnant productivity growth in service industry. Third, however, the productivity in the whole economy is still growing because of the large productivity differences among the sub-industries in service industry. Fourth, we have found that the productivities of some service industries, such as finance, communication, business service, etc., are almost same or larger than the productivity of manufacturing industry. From this fact it is likely that the productivity of the whole economy could grow in spite of the stagnant productivity growth in service industry.

Analysis on Research Trend of Productivity Using Text Mining - Focusing on KSCE Journal - (텍스트 마이닝을 통한 건설 생산성 분야의 연구동향 분석 - KSCE 저널을 중심으로 -)

  • The relationship between keywords, found in all productivity related papers published in the KSCE journal for last 15 years, were analyzed in order to reveal a research trend in the area using text mining and A-Priori algorithm. As the results, it is found that the word of 'productivity' is most closely related to the words of 'work' and 'labor'. Futhermore, the word is somewhat related to those of 'factor', 'model', simulation', and 'work time'. It is also revealed that, on the other hand, the words of 'machine' and 'equipment' have little relationships with the keyword. This research will be a great help for academia to understand a research trend in the area of construction productivity.

  • 논문의 내용에서는 21세기 초일류 기업을 위한 신경영기법의 종합적 접근방법을 논하고자 하였으며 지속적인 생산성 향상을 추구하는 기업의 생산 시스템을 세계수준급으로까지 발전시키는 비젼성에 관하여 논의하였다. TIFA란 생산성 향상을 위한 방법론이요, 생산방법의 개량이요, 인간을 위한 융통성 있는 생산 시스템이라고 했다. 하지만 그 생산방식에 인간중시, 인가존중의 휴면정신이 외면 당한다면, 그것은 결코 진정한 의미의 TIFA라고 말할 수 없다. TIFA란 생산현장, 산업근로자들의 신념과 긍지까지 현미경적 시각으로 발견, 연구해야 한다는 것이다. 즉, 진정한 TIFA란 생산성 향상을 위한 과학과 기술, 인간과 경영의 하모니로 시작되는 유연하고도 융통성 있는 생산 시스템이라고 정의한다.

  • Recently, Construction market is contracted by economic slump and regulation. As the solution of this plan, construction productivity is gathering strength. However, the study on the productivity in construction section is insufficient until now. Construction section has many factor about productivity. The point of this study, we analysis the factor of construction productivity improvement and relationship with system thinking. And we show the strategy of construction productivity improvement.

  • 닭의 바이러스성 간염은 닭에서 흔히 일어나는 질병 중의 하나는 아니다. 그러나 국내에서는 본질병의 전형적인 발생 예가 아직 검색되지 않았으나 외국의 대군사육계군에서 종종 발생하고 있어 국내에도 최근 대군사육화하면서 우려가 되는 질병으로 그중 스트레스에 의한 간염이 때때로 상당한 생산성 저하를 유발하기도 하며 산란율과 폐사율에서 경제적인 손상을 미치게하는 스트레스에 의해 발병이 가중되는 바이러스성 간염이 양계장 생산성에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of new operation system for port container terminals. We assumed that the operation system of container terminal consists of monitorig & control system, operation system, planning system, and information technology, and we selected total 19 technology alternatives. Through the results of questionnaire and interview received from field expert, we established the evaluation model and analyze the productivity improvement by estimating the weight and the priority of productivity for operation system. From the developed model, we provide useful implications to introduce new technologies of operation system for domestic container terminals.
