본 연구는 국내 캐주얼웨어의 세분시장별 활용 색채와 선호·비선호 색채의 특성을 실증적으로 규명하고, 색채기획에 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 세분시장별 대표색과 선호·비선호의 색채 팔레트를 제안함으로써 체계적인 색채 정보를 구축하는데 목적이 있다.

본 연구에서는 고령화 시대에 발맞춰 실버산업의 한 분야인 실버용품 디자인 시 계획되어야 할 중요한 요소인 색채에 대해 다루었다. 현재 국내 노인 관련 색채 연구는 미흡한 실정이며 특히 실버용품을 위한 색채 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 실버용품 사용주체인 국내 60세 이상의 노인을 대상으로 색채연구를 진행함으로써 향후 실버용품 색채 계획에 대한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 실제 실버용품의 색상 및 색의 3속성(색상, 명도, 채도)에 대한 노인들의 심리적 선호도를 조사하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 남녀 모두 명도가 높은 밝은 색상을 선호하였고, 여성의 경우 무려 89%가 수수한 무채색 보다는 원색인 화려한 색상을 선호하였으며, 남자들 또한 52%가 화려한 색을 선호하였다. 이 결과는 현재 시중에 판매되고 있는 실버용품이 무채색인 흰색, 회색, 검정색이 대부분인 것을 감안하면 실버용품의 색채계획이 노인의 실제 선호색과는 다르다는 것을 보여준다. 본 연구를 통하여 조사된 색채선호도는 향후 실버용품 색채계획 시 주요한 고려사항으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Colors that stimulate human emotions in everyday life are one of the important factors in animation production. The research on color has been actively carried out in relation to the importance and nature mainly for animation production. However, researches that investigated different views for specific color by geographic characteristics are rare. Therefore, information was collected through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis was conducted using SPSS statistical package to analyze preference of Korean and Chinese people for the Chinese traditional colors. The analysis results showed that both Korean and Chinese groups preferred red color among Chinese traditional colors. This preference for red was statistically significant in both groups, indicating that the intensity of preference for red was different even though Korean and Chinese equally preferred red. Furthermore, among 10 red colors, the preferred red was different between Chinese and Korean. Based on these results, it is suggested that the color should be selected considering the characteristics of the intended market for Chinese animation production and the personality of the viewers who watch the animation products.

본 연구에서는 특정 대상에 대한 사람들의 심리적인 색채반응을 측정할 수 있는 색채감성척도(PCS)를 개발하고 이것을 색채 감성 이미지의 평가에 어떻게 이용하는가를 보여주고자 한다. 색채심리에 기초한 색채감성척도(PCS)는 NCS와 ISCC-NBS 색명법에 의거한 색상과 톤의 개념으로 구성되었으며 기본형과 상세형의 두 가지가 개발 되었다. 표준화된 색채감성척도는 각 사람들마다 다르게 나타나는 색에 관한 이미지나 색에 대한 심리적인 선호반응을 객관적으로 측정할 수 있는 척도로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선호색, 선호의상색, 선호 화장품 색을 나타내는데 PCS가 어떻게 활용되는가를 보여주었다. PCS를 이용한 색채 감성 이미지는 Color Image Palette를 이용하여 각각의 특성을 비교할 수 있도록 제시되기도 하였다. 색채 경험에 대한 광학적이거나 물리적인 속성이 아닌 심리적인 특성을 평가하고 서로 다른 집단의 반응을 비교 평가하는데 PCS와 유용한 도구가 될 것이다.

The purposes of this research were to evaluate the color sensibility and preferences, and to analyze the effect of the tactile preferences and purchasing preference on structural properties, color characteristics and color sensibility for the black color fabrics. Male and female university students were asked to evaluate the color sensibility, tactile preference and purchasing preference to the nine different black fabrics which were selected on the basis of the previous research results. Data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, mean, factor analysis, t-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, correlation and regression analysis. The color sensibility for black color fabrics was classified into four factors: simplicity/classic, elegance, modernity and dignity. This color sensibility factors showed a significant correlative relationship to the structural properties and color characteristics of black color fabrics. On the other hand, fabrics which were evaluated with good tactile preference among the black color fabrics tended to show higher purchasing preference. Also, among the color sensibility, the structural properties and color characteristics of black color fabrics, major variable factor of influencing on the tactile preference and the purchasing preference was turned out to be the color sensibility.

This study was performed to help the denim fabric planning which reflects the sensibility preference of university students. Objective characteristics, like color properties and mechanical properties, in 8 denim fabrics (5 cotton 100% fabrics and 3 cotton/polyurethane blended fabrics) were evaluated. And the color preference, subjective sensation and tactile preference of denim fabrics were investigated among the university students. The effect of color preference and tactile preference of denim fabrics on the purchase preference of denim slacks was also examined. Color preference of denim fabrics showed a significant difference according to the kind of denim fabrics. University students preferred purple blue denim fabrics that was measured low $-b^*$ value and low $C^*$ value among the color properties of denim fabrics. Among the mechanical properties of denim fabrics, surface property like MMD, MIU and SMD as well as shear property like 2HG5 were important elements affecting subjective sensation. While, tactile preferences showed a significant difference according to the fabrics. The tactile preferences of cotton/polyurethane blended denim fabrics was highly preferred, and that of heavy 100% cotton denim fabric was lowly preferred. And the subjective sensation affecting tactile preferences were in order of smoothness, softness, lightness. It is concluded that the color preference and tactile preference influenced upon the purchase preference of denim slacks, and color preference had a bigger effect upon the purchase preference.

본 연구는 미생물색소로 염색한 소재의 색채감성을 평가하여 색채감성에 영향을 미치는 색채감각과 물리적 색채특성을 규명하고자 한 것이다. 미생물 Zooshikella rubidus 가 생산하는 색소를 추출하여 면, 견, 모, 나일론 직물에 염색한 소재에 대하여 20 대 대학생 남녀 40 명을 대상으로 의미미분법에 의하여 색채감성을 평가시켰다. 색채감성용어에 대한 요인분석결과, 명랑성, 품위성, 매력성, 편안성등 4 개 요인이 도출되었다. 명랑성 요인은 L*, a*, C*, 맑다, 가볍다, 부드럽다, 밝다와 정적 상관을, b*, 강하다, 깊다, 딱딱하다와 부적상관을 보였으며, 품위성 요인은 b*, 따뜻하다와 정적 상관을, a*, C*, 가볍다, 강하다와 부적 상관을 보였다. 또한 매력성 요인은 a*, C*, 맑다, 밝다와 정적 상관을 보였으며, 편안성은 b*, h, 따뜻하다와 정적 상관을, a*, C*, 강하다와 부적 상관을 보였다. 한편, 미생물색소로 염색한 소재에 대한 색채감성 평가는 성에 따른 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 선호도는 성에 따른 유의한 차이가 있었다.

본 연구는 거주자를 고려한 색채계획에 기초자료로 활용되고자 주거공간의 색채계획 실태와 선호하는 색채를 파악하고, 이를 사용자 측면에서 평가하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거주자들은 마감재를 선택하는데 있어서 특정한 한 가지 요인보다는 여러 가지 요인을 동시에 고려한다. 둘째, 주거공간에서 색채는 실내분위기를 결정하는데 중요한 요소라고 평가하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 현재 거실공간과 부부침실의 경우 천장과 벽의 색상(Hue)은 N(흰색)계열이었고, 색조(Tone)는 밝은 톤으로 마감되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 색채계획에 관한 만족도는 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 거실공간과 부부침실에서 가장 선호되는 마감색채는 현재의 것과 동일하게 나타났지만, 현재 마감된 색채보다는 색채종류가 더 다양함을 알 수 있었다.

This study was performed in order to suggest useful data for color planning of eco-friendly and sensible fashion products. Silk fabrics were dyed in combination with natural indigo and Japanese pagoda tree and were treated with four kinds of mordants after combination dyeing. Then, their colorimetric properties were evaluated. From these composite-dyed silk fabrics, color sensibilities and color preferences of green yellow (GY) color were evaluated among the female university students, and thus, the influences of colorimetric properties and color sensibilities on color preferences were analyzed. When the silk fabrics were dyed in the combination of natural indigo and Japanese pagoda tree and were treated without mordants, they turned green color when indigo 10 g/L was used, and blue-green when indigo 20 g/L was added. And when they were dyed in combination of natural indigo and Japanese pagoda tree and were treated with four kind of mordants after combination dyeing, they turned GY color in almost all cases. The color sensibilities of the GY silk fabrics with the combination dyeing of indigo and Japanese pagoda tree, were classified into three factors: pleasantness, gracefulness, and comfort. Color sensibility factors showed significant differences according to the concentration of indigo and the kinds of mordants. There were almost significant relationships between colorimetric properties and color sensibilities factors of compositely dyed GY silk fabrics. The color preferences of the GY fabrics, which were dyed in the combination of using natural indigo and Japanese pagoda tree and four kinds of mordants, were found to be predicted by the color sensibility in a regression model.

This research was carried out in order to suggest useful data for planning fabrics of summer eco-friendly fashion products. For this purpose, four cellulose fabrics were dyed with natural indigo under three different dyeing conditions, then, their colorimetric properties and color sensibilities were evaluated, and their influences on color preferences were analyzed. All cellulose fabrics naturally dyed with indigo showed the characteristics of PB color tones, middle and low value, and low chroma. Color characteristics were significantly different according to fiber type and dyeing condition. The color sensibilities of the fabrics dyed with indigo were classified into three factors: sporty, classic and natural. These sensibilities showed partially significant differences according to fiber type and dyeing condition. Also, there were partially significant relationships between color characteristics and the color sensibilities of the fabrics dyed with indigo. The color preferences of the dyed fabrics with indigo were found to be influenced by the sporty and classic of color sensibility and $L^*$ of color characteristics.
