Weight Reduction Behavior and Dyeing Properties of Sea-island Type PET Nanofilament Knitted Fabric (해도형 폴리에스터 초극세사 편성물의 감량 거동 및 염색 특성)

  • 나노필라멘트는 단면직경이 수백 나노미터에서 수십 나노미터 수준인 초극세 장섬유를 말하며, 해도형 복합방사로 얻어진 섬유를 알칼리 감량을 통해 해성분을 용출하여 도성분에 해당하는 나노필라멘트를 얻는다. 이러한 나노필라멘트사는 극세사와 마찬가지로 단위중량당 표면적이 크고, 작은 굴곡반경 및 낮은 굴곡 반발성으로 인하여 일반 합성섬유에 비하여 고가성 및 새로운 기능성을 부여하는 제품에 응용될 수 있다. 나노필라멘트 편물은 원사섬도, 편물의 조직, 밀도 및 중량 등에 따라 분할율과 용출 특성이 상이하므로 후가공 공정에 있어서 감량공정은 매우 중요하다. 또한 나노필라멘트와 같은 세사의 경우 일반사보다 비표면적이 증가하여 동일한 염색조건에서 옅은 색상을 나타낸다. 이로 인해 같은 색상을 위하여 보다 많은 염료를 투입해야 하며, 결과적으로 견뢰도 문제가 발생할 우려가 있다. 이 연구에서는 800nm급 해도형 나노필라멘트 PET 100% 또는 나노필라멘트와 일반 PET사를 복합한 편물을 이용하여 알칼리 감량거동 및 분산염료에 대한 염색성과 견뢰도를 연구하였다. 알칼리 감량이 진행됨에 따라 감량률이 증가하였으며, SEM분석, DSC분석, 양이온염료 염색법 등을 통하여 해성분 용출 및 도성분 분할이 진행되는 정도를 평가할 수 있었다. 나노필라멘트 편성물은 염료농도가 증가함에 따라 지속적으로 K/S값이 증가하였으나, 일반 극세사 편성물에 비해 낮은 K/S값을 얻었다. 또한 나노필라멘트/일반 PET 복합편물에 있어서 염색온도가 110에서 $130^{\circ}C$로 증가함에 따라 K/S값이 감소하였는데, 이는 고온에서 분산염료가 나노필라멘트로부터 일반 PET사로 이염이 더 많이 발생하였기 때문이라고 생각된다. 세탁견뢰도의 경우 양호하였으나, 일광견뢰도의 경우 1등급으로 매우 낮았다.

Nucleus Segmentation and Recognition of Uterine Cervical Pap-Smears using Enhanced Fuzzy ART Algorithm (개선된 퍼지 ART 알고리즘을 이용한 자궁 경부 세포진 핵 분할 및 인식)

  • Segmentation for the region of nucleus in the image of uterine cervical cytodiagnosis is known as the most difficult and important part in the automatic cervical cancer recognition system. In this paper, the region of nucleus is extracted from an image of uterine cervical cytodiagnosis using the fuzzy grey morphology operation. The characteristics of the nucleus are extracted from the analysis of morphemetric features, densitometric features, colormetric features, and textural features based on the detected region of nucleus area. The classification criterion of a nucleus is defined according to the standard categories of the Bethesda system. The enhanced fuzzy ART algorithm is used to the extracted nucleus and the results show that the proposed method is efficient in nucleus recognition and uterine cervical Pap-Smears extraction.

  • People health improvement is becoming new subject through the combining with the oriental medicine diagnosis theory and IT technology. To do this, firstly, it needs sicked data that supply the visualization, objectification and quantification method. Especially, if an ocular inspection can be more objective and visual expression in oriental medicine, it seems to offer the biggest opportunity in diagnosis field. In this study, I propose a diagnosis to check the symptoms of heart diagnosis. Our research aim is on the visualization of diagnosis using image processing system which it can be actual analysis about the symptom of heart. To catch up this study, through the color support assistance by face image processing, I devide the face area and analyze the face form and also extract face characteristic point in heart disease diagnosis using oriental medicine based on an ocular inspection method. I would like to prove the usefulness of the method that proposed by an experiment.

A Forest Fire Detection Algorithm Using Image Information (영상정보를 이용한 산불 감지 알고리즘)

  • Detecting wildfire using only color in image information is a very difficult issue. This paper proposes an algorithm to detect forest fire area by analyzing color and motion of the area in the video including forest fire. The proposed algorithm removes the background region using the Gaussian Mixture based background segmentation algorithm, which does not depend on the lighting conditions. In addition, the RGB channel is changed to an HSV channel to extract flame candidates based on color. The extracted flame candidates judge that it is not a flame if the area moves while labeling and tracking. If the flame candidate areas extracted in this way are in the same position for more than 2 minutes, it is regarded as flame. Experimental results using the implemented algorithm confirmed the validity.

  • Today, multimedia information is used on the internet and various social areas by rapid development of computer and communication technology. Therefor, the usage is growing dramatically. Multimedia information analysis system is basically based on text. So, there are many difficult problems like expressing ambiguity of multimedia information, excessive burden of works in appending notes and a lack of objectivity. In this study, we suggest a method which uses color and shape information of multimedia image partitions efficiently analyze a large amount of multimedia information. Partitions use field growth and union method. To extract color information, we use distinctive information which matches with a representative color from converting process from RGB(Red Green Blue) to HSI(Hue Saturation Intensity). Also, we use IMI(Improved Moment Invariants) which target to only outline pixels of an object and execute computing as shape information.

The Modified Block Matching Algorithm for a Hand Tracking of an HCI system (HCI 시스템의 손 추적을 위한 수정 블록 정합 알고리즘)

  • A GUI (graphical user interface) has been a dominant platform for HCI (human computer interaction). A GUI - based interaction has made computers simpler and easier to use. The GUI - based interaction, however, does not easily support the range of interaction necessary to meet users' needs that are natural. intuitive, and adaptive. In this paper, the modified BMA (block matching algorithm) is proposed to track a hand in a sequence of an image and to recognize it in each video frame in order to replace a mouse with a pointing device for a virtual reality. The HCI system with 30 frames per second is realized in this paper. The modified BMA is proposed to estimate a position of the hand and segmentation with an orientation of motion and a color distribution of the hand region for real - time processing. The experimental result shows that the modified BMA with the YCbCr (luminance Y, component blue, component red) color coordinate guarantees the real - time processing and the recognition rate. The hand tracking by the modified BMA can be applied to a virtual reclity or a game or an HCI system for the disable.

Characterization of Optimum Conditions Affecting on Multi-Color Dyeing of Cut Rose (Rosa hybrida 'Akito') (절화장미(Rosa hybrida 'Akito') 복색염색에 미치는 몇 가지 요인의 최적조건 구명)

  • This experiment was conducted to examine the ideal condition for multiple colors dyeing of cut rose, 'Akito'. Four different colors of dye were applied to make multiple flower colors in cut rose by absorption method. Acidic condition around pH 3.5 showed the fastest absorption speed in all four colors. There is no difference at each pH levels, at part of leaves dyeing, it is more affected colors rather than pH levels in purple and blue colors. From vary concentration of each dyes, $10g{\cdot}L^{-1}$ concentration of dyeing solution gave the best color definition. But it's not significant and result was different by each color in a same concentration. 10 minutes of dyeing performed pastel color and 30 minutes performed the best color definition, but the 30 minutes treatment accompanied with significant dyeing on the leaves also. As a result of this experiment, optimum condition for dyeing cut rose, 'Akito' requires pH 3.5, $5-10g{\cdot}L^{-1}$ of dye concentration and 10-30 minutes treatment.

Research on Characterizing Urban Color Analysis based on Tourists-Shared Photos and Machine Learning - Focused on Dali City, China - (관광객 공유한 사진 및 머신 러닝을 활용한 도시 색채 특성 분석 연구 - 중국 대리시를 대상으로 -)

  • Color is an essential visual element that has a significant impact on the formation of a city's image and people's perceptions. Quantitative analysis of color in urban environments is a complex process that has been difficult to implement in the past. However, with recent rapid advances in Machine Learning, it has become possible to analyze city colors using photos shared by tourists. This study selected Dali City, a popular tourist destination in China, as a case study. Photos of Dali City shared by tourists were collected, and a method to measure large-scale city colors was explored by combining machine learning techniques. Specifically, the DeepLabv3+ model was first applied to perform a semantic segmentation of tourist sharing photos based on the ADE20k dataset, thereby separating artificial elements in the photos. Next, the K-means clustering algorithm was used to extract colors from the artificial elements in Dali City, and an adjacency matrix was constructed to analyze the correlations between the dominant colors. The research results indicate that the main color of the artificial elements in Dali City has the highest percentage of orange-grey. Furthermore, gray tones are often used in combination with other colors. The results indicated that local ethnic and Buddhist cultures influence the color characteristics of artificial elements in Dali City. This research provides a new method of color analysis, and the results not only help Dali City to shape an urban color image that meets the expectations of tourists but also provide reference materials for future urban color planning in Dali City.

Histogram-Based Singular Value Decomposition for Object Identification and Tracking (객체 식별 및 추적을 위한 히스토그램 기반 특이값 분해)

  • CCTV is used for various purposes such as crime prevention, public safety reinforcement, and traffic management. However, as the range and resolution of the camera improve, there is a risk of exposing personal information in the video. Therefore, there is a need for new technologies that can identify individuals while protecting personal information in images. In this paper, we propose histogram-based singular value decomposition for object identification and tracking. The proposed method distinguishes different objects present in the image using color information of the object. For object recognition, YOLO and DeepSORT are used to detect and extract people present in the image. Color values are extracted with a black-and-white histogram using location information of the detected person. Singular value decomposition is used to extract and use only meaningful information among the extracted color values. When using singular value decomposition, the accuracy of object color extraction is increased by using the average of the upper singular value in the result. Color information extracted using singular value decomposition is compared with colors present in other images, and the same person present in different images is detected. Euclidean distance is used for color information comparison, and Top-N is used for accuracy evaluation. As a result of the evaluation, when detecting the same person using a black-and-white histogram and singular value decomposition, it recorded a maximum of 100% to a minimum of 74%.

  • 운전자 지원 시스템(ADAS)은 최근 지능형 자동차 분야에서 중요한 이슈로 손꼽히는 기술 중 하나이다. 이 중에서 실시간 표지판 인식 기술은 운전자 지원 시스템의 하나로 운전자의 안전과 직결될 수 있어 높은 정확성과 실시간성이 요구된다. 그동안 표지판 인식 분야는 색상과 현상을 기반으로 연구가 진행되어왔으나, 교통 표지판은 국가별로 그 특징과 형태가 각기 상이하여 적용하는데 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국의 속도제한 표지판을 실시간으로 검출하고 인식하기 위하여, 1) 영상에서 색상 특징을 이용하여 후보 영역을 검출하고, 2) 형상 정보를 분석하여 표지판의 형태를 검증하고, 3) 검출된 후보영역의 내부문자(숫자)를 분할하고 인식하는 시스템을 제안한다.
