Domain adaptation of Korean coreference resolution using continual learning (Continual learning을 이용한 한국어 상호참조해결의 도메인 적응)

  • 상호참조해결은 문서에서 명사, 대명사, 명사구 등의 멘션 후보를 식별하고 동일한 개체를 의미하는 멘션들을 찾아 그룹화하는 태스크이다. 딥러닝 기반의 한국어 상호참조해결 연구들에서는 BERT를 이용하여 단어의 문맥 표현을 얻은 후 멘션 탐지와 상호참조해결을 동시에 수행하는 End-to-End 모델이 주로 연구가 되었으며, 최근에는 스팬 표현을 사용하지 않고 시작과 끝 표현식을 통해 상호참조해결을 빠르게 수행하는 Start-to-End 방식의 한국어 상호참조해결 모델이 연구되었다. 최근에 한국어 상호참조해결을 위해 구축된 ETRI 데이터셋은 WIKI, QA, CONVERSATION 등 다양한 도메인으로 이루어져 있으며, 신규 도메인의 데이터가 추가될 경우 신규 데이터가 추가된 전체 학습데이터로 모델을 다시 학습해야 하며, 이때 많은 시간이 걸리는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 상호참조해결 모델의 도메인 적응에 Continual learning을 적용해 각기 다른 도메인의 데이터로 모델을 학습 시킬 때 이전에 학습했던 정보를 망각하는 Catastrophic forgetting 현상을 억제할 수 있음을 보인다. 또한, Continual learning의 성능 향상을 위해 2가지 Transfer Techniques을 함께 적용한 실험을 진행한다. 실험 결과, 본 논문에서 제안한 모델이 베이스라인 모델보다 개발 셋에서 3.6%p, 테스트 셋에서 2.1%p의 성능 향상을 보였다.

Effects of Hyperemia Menu Types and Metacognition on Errors at Learning stages and Achievement (하이퍼미디어 메뉴방식과 메타인지가 학습시기에 따른 오류와 성취도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine some effects of four menu types: icon menu, context menu, pulldown menu, and bar selection menu. In order to find whether there are some effects of menu types or learning stages (the first, intermediate and the last stage) on skill-based errors, each of the menus has been studied in relation to hyperemia instruction, menu search time, scholastic a chievements and learners' metacognitionon their errors. A further purpose of this paper is to suggest some strategies for enabling learner to select menus more efficiently in order to enhance the learner's own learning effectiveness in hypere mia instruction.The results of this study are as follows. The menu types had a significant effect on the low metacognition regulation group. The context menu types had a significant effect on achievements. In contrast, it was also noticed he the menu types did not have any significant effect on the high metacognition regulation group. The bar-selection menu type and the icon menu type had a relatively significant effect on skill-based errors in the first stage of learning.

금융시스템과 기업시스템간의 관계에 관한 제도론적 연구

  • 자본주의 경제체제에 있어서 금융시스템과 기업시스템은 경제시스템의 핵심을 구성하는 것으로서 경제의 효율성을 좌우한다. 중요한 것은 이 두 시스템은 국가의 경제적 기능과 함께 상호관련적으로 형성되고 전개되어 나간다는 점이다. 최근 세계 경제메카니즘의 변화에 따라 이들을 어떻게 재편성할 것인가 하는 것이 주요 관심대상으로 제기되어 왔다. 본고는 국가-금융-기업 시스템간의 시스템적 상호관련성에 유의하면서 거시적인 신제도 학파적 시각에서 그 관계의 틀을 고찰, 그 유형을 분류하여 보고 특히 금융시스템과 기업시스템간의 상호관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 제도론적 시각에서 볼 때 이 문제는 제도적 환경과 제도적 장치간의 체계적 관계를 규명하는 것으로서 궁극적으로 경제행위의 지배조정 메카니즘을 시장, 위계(조직), 네트워크 중 어느 방식에 중점을 둘 것인가와 관련된다. 구체적으로 볼 때 금융시스템에 있어서의 자본시장중심적 체계와 은행중심적 체계, 기업과 시장의 범위와 기업의 네트워크적 전개, 금융과 기업간 규율시스템에 있어서의 관계 둥은 모두 이러한 시각에서 일관적으로 파악될 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 이들의 상호관계를 유형화시켜보고 그 논리를 우리의 현실에 적용시켜 볼 때 국가의 기능조정을 바탕으로 시장규율하에서의 네트워크적 관계를 모색하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 생각된다.

  • 글로벌 시대에 한국에서 사업을 하는 일본 기업이 화제가 되는 것은 이상한 일이 아니다. 그러나 일본의 인쇄업체가 일본에서 수주한 인쇄물을 한국에 가져와서 한국 인쇄업체와 협력관계를 맺고 이를 생산하고 일본의 고객사에게 납품한다면 이는 조금 다를 것이다. 물론 현재도 일본에 인쇄물을 수출하는 국내 인쇄사들이 있다. 그러나 주로 재일교표를 대상으로 하는 경우가 많고 대형거래처를 안정적으로 확보하지는 못하고 있는 실정이다. 그런 의미에서 일본에 인쇄물 수출을 시도하는 국내인쇄업체들로서는 지난해 6월부터 한국에 진출, 자사에서 수주한 인쇄물의 일부 물량을 한국업체와 협력관계를 통해 작업해 일본으로 역수출하는 방식으로 사업을 진행하고 있는 일본(주)산아이의 사례는 좋은 계기가 될 것으로 보인다. 산아이의 야마시타 히로키 대표이사로부터 한국에서의 사업에 대한 이모저모를 들어 보았다.

  • With the development of information technology, users are provided with information they want through mobile device in various situations. When users communicate with information, there is interaction through gesture activities such as tapping and experience in the process. Experience through interaction in mobile affect the user's psychology. This is important because it is related to the behavior of the user in the future. Various types of information presentation methods have been researched in mobile environment. However, there are more research focusing on functional interactivity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interaction and usage mode on satisfaction, usefulness, and intention to use for sound text presentation that is user-centered. As variables for my study, there are two factors which are interactivity and usage mode. The interactivity type is composed of two ways that are: High and Low depending on modality and message interactivity; and the usage mode is composed of Action mode and Goal mode depending on whether user has a task or not. The experimental design is $2{\times}2$. The same content is provided in (a) only Modality interactivity, and (b) Modality and Message interactivity are provided. Depending on usage mode, (a) Action mode is processed without a specific task, and (b) Goal mode is performed with a specific task to participants. The experimental study demonstrated that there is a difference in satisfaction, usefulness, and intention to use depending on the difference of interaction and usage mode when providing information in mobile environment. The results of this study are summarized as follows: interaction and usage mode have significant influence on mobile user's satisfaction, usefulness, intention to use.

  • In this paper, we study fault-tolerant multicasting in multicomputers based on multistage interconnection networks (MIN’s). In addition to one-to-one routing among processing nodes, efficient multicasting has an important effect on the performance of multicomputers. This paper presents a multicasting algorithm to tolerate faulty switching elements. The proposed algorithm uses the cube encoding scheme to represent multicast destinations in MIN, and is based on a recursive scheme in order to bypass faults. This algorithm can route any multicast message to its own destinations in only two passes through the MIN containing several faulty switching elements. Moreover, we prove the correctness of our algorithm by exploiting well-known nonblocking property of MIN.

  • This study is to find out what are the factors influencing upon the convergent TV viewing experiences. Socio-demographic variables are identified as the most influential ones. Viewing modes are more influential than the media utilization factors. Comparing the detailed dimensions of TV viewing experiences, time and content selectivity are more influenced by TV viewing modes, while sociability and interactivity are more affected by socio-demographic variables relatively. This study has academic significance in that it is an exploratory empirical study on factors influencing on the TV viewing experiences.

  • The human computer interaction has gone through diverse changes along with the technical progress of computers. With the spread of the world wide web, attempts of various forms and methods of interactions reflecting the characteristics of the web are being made. Among the diverse concepts of interaction, Conversational Agent uses a character as the visual perceptional object and through the interaction based on conversation it suggests a natural, human, intuitive interaction. In this study, Conversational Agent was suggested and applied on a cyber lecture website and the appropriateness was verified. The fundamental structure and method needed in constructing a conversation was examined through the study on conversation. After that the characteristics of the conversation used on the web was identified and hereby and the coherence and conversation structure was deducted. After the characteristics of the conversational agent were observed, it was applied to the previously deducted web sites logical connection and conversation structure. Lastly, the conversational agent suitable for the web site was proposed and realized.

A Study on the User Experience according to the Method and Detail of Recommendation Agent's Explanation Facilities (추천 에이전트의 설명 방식과 상세도에 따른 사용자 경험 차이에 관한 연구)

  • As the use of recommended agents has become more active, the "Explain Facilities" is drawing attention as a way to solve the black-box problem that could not explain internal logic to users. This study wants to look at how the description Method and Detail affects to user experience. The Explanation method was divided into 'why the agent did a particular action' and 'why not do a particular action' and the detail condition were divided into 'high or low'. Studies have found that 'why method' have a positive effect on users' transparency, trust, satisfaction, and behavioral intention to use, and 'high detail condition' higher the user' Psychological reactance. In addition, it was found that the explanation methods and detail influenced the 'Explanation' perception through interaction and tended to affect satisfaction and intention to adopt recommendation. This study suggested that careful attention is needed to determine the method and detail of the Explanation facilities in the context of the recommended agent, based on the research findings that it affects the user experience through the interaction of the method and detail.

Interactions between AI Speaker and Children : A Field Study on the Success/Failure Cases by Types of Interactions (인공지능 스피커와 아동들의 상호작용 :유형별 성공/실패 사례 도출을 위한 현장 연구)

  • As the AI speaker market is growing rapidly in recent years, the competition for the preoccupation of children who are the main users and the future prospective customers of the related companies is very intense. However, there is a lack of empirical research on how children interact with AI speakers. Therefore, this research examines the interactions between children and AI speakers, primarily through field studies, to extract what functions they use and what features they have. For this purpose, 799 conversations were collected and analyzed using the log data of the AI speaker recorded in real time. As a result, children were more likely to use children's songs, fairy tales, emotional conversations, and personification compared to adults. In addition, content analysis by specific types resulted in success/failure cases of interaction between children and AI speakers and proposed improvements by failure type. This study is meaningful in that it identifies children's AI speaker preferences, content, and major conversation patterns, and provides guidelines for developing services that meet children's eye level.
