Based on the theory of use and satisfaction, this study investigated the strength of TikTok usage motives (entertainment, information-seeking, interaction, self-expression, and escape) and the effect of each motive on users' adherence (frequency of use, time of use). investigated. After conducting a survey on TikTok Chinese users and removing insincere answers, 101 survey results were analyzed. The analysis results are as follows: First, the intensity of motivation for using TikTok was in the following order: entertainment-seeking, information-seeking, interaction, self-expression, and escape. Among them, the motives of pursuit of entertainment and escape were higher in females than in males. And the motives of pursuit of entertainment and escape were higher in the case of women than in the case of men. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect on user adhesion, the influence of the users' entertainment pursuit motive, interaction motive, and escape motive was significant for the frequency of use, and the influence of interaction was high. Third, the influence of entertainment-seeking motives and escape motives was found to be significant for use time. This means that users often use TikTok for entertainment, interaction, and escapism, and longer TikTok usage time for entertainment or escapism.

Objective : This study aims to examine the Effect of the Brotherhood Group Sensory Integration intervention to Social Interaction of the Children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Methods : The Group Sensory Integration intervention was implemented for 8 weeks period from July to September 2011 targeting 2 children of 7~8 ages diagnosed Pervasive Developmental Disorders. For the study A-B-A' design among Single subject research design was used, while baseline A 3 phases, intervention B 16 phases, baseline A' 3 phases in total 22 phases were applied. The Quality of Social Interaction was measured through ESI(Evaluation Social interaction) during the baseline between A and A' period, and the Frequency of Social Interaction was measured under the condition that non-availability of intervention during baseline period, while during intervention period, it was measured by utilizing Interval recording method upon filming by video of 10 minutes free-play after every intervention. Results : The Quality of Social interaction indicated a statistical significance by all targeted children after intervention. Also a statistical significance was indicated in the Frequency of Social interaction as there appeared consecutively more than two of the values of baseline A average and Standard deviation band from all targeted children at the free-play implemented after each intervention of every phase. Conclusion : It could be verified that Brotherhood Group Sensory integration intervention has a positive effect to Social interaction of the Children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Therefore, the Brotherhood Group Sensory integration intervention can be effectively applicable as being a therapy to improve Social interaction toward Children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders at the clinic.
This study analyzed educational applications in smartphones with some criteria seeking to apply online learning characteristics to smartphones. For the analysis, 85 educational applications were selected and they were classified by types of educational contents, interactions, and the combination of the educational contents and interactions. As a result, drill-and-practice and tool types of contents ranked high, and there found to be few simulation and problem solving types. In regard to interaction types, almost all of the applications had interactions only between contents and learners, which meant little active communications when using applications. Therefore, enhanced interactions and communications among learners using the social network service platform were required in order to use educational applications in a more effective way.
In connection with each other through social networks, individuals share valuable knowledge and information. Furthermore the knowledge and information based on the collective intelligence is growing. Collective intelligence with more peoples will grow by gathering intelligence to enhance the collective intelligence. This study investigates the collective intelligence using business management game, and observes forming process of collective intelligence. To achieve the objective to observe the forming process of collective intelligence, only the test subjects available were exposed to the Corporate Management Game with SNS space. During the experimentation, the interaction and feedback were observed. The results of the study show that different performance, feedback and interaction for each group.
The present study investigated the mental representation and processing of an ambiguous word in the bimodal processing system by manipulating the lexical ambiguity of a visually or auditorily presented word. Homonyms (e.g., '물었다') with more than two meanings and control words (e.g., '고통을') with a single meaning were used in the experiments. The lemma frequency of words was manipulated while the relative frequency of multiple meanings of each homonym was balanced. In both experiments using the lexical decision task, a robust frequency effect and a critical interaction of word type by frequency were found. In Experiment 1, spoken homonyms yielded faster latencies relative to control words (i.e., ambiguity advantage) in the low frequency condition, while ambiguity disadvantage was found in the high frequency condition. A similar interactive pattern was found in visually presented homonyms in the subsequent Experiment 2. Taken together, the first key finding is that interdependent lexico-semantic processing can be found both in the visual and auditory processing system, which in turn suggests that semantic processing is not modality dependent, but rather takes place on the basis of general lexical knowledge. The second is that multiple semantic candidates provide facilitative feedback only when the lemma frequency of the word is relatively low.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the teacher-students interactions shown in the images of elementary science class by preservice teachers. We applied nine analysis criteria in three domains such as emotional support (climate, regard for student perspectives, teacher sensitivity), classroom organization (instructional learning formats, behavior management, productivity), and instructional support (quality of feedback, language modeling, concept development) in the aspects of positive or negative interactions The results show that majority of student-teachers tended to prefer positive interactions especially regarding instructional learning formats or concept development. For the image of avoided class, they tended to show negative interactions related to instructional learning formats or regard for student perspectives. However, they showed extremely lower frequencies for some categories of negative interactions. Female preservice teachers tended to have slightly higher frequencies for some positive interactions than their counterpart. The findings indicate possible approaches to teachers' professional development and further research.
Currently, reflective teaching has been actively studied in terms of teachers' professional development relating to classroom instruction. The present study looked at, using the method of a case study, the differences between a novice and an experienced elementary school mathematics teachers' beliefs demonstrated during their reflective teaching. The findings of the study show that at the intial stage of reflective teaching, the novice teacher identified few errors during class and was not enthusiastic about applying the results of her reflective teaching due to lack of confidence. By contrast, the experienced teacher identified more errors during class than the novice teacher and had fewer reflections due to a sense of confidence. As the teachers' engagement in reflective teaching increased with time, they both felt the need for advice from experts on mathematics teaching and directed their attention to interactions with their students away from teacher-centered instruction. Further, the novice teacher engaged in more teacher-student interactions than the experienced teacher, and the experienced teacher increased the frequency of teaching reflection. Based on the findings, the article suggests a number of implications for the cooperative reflective teaching between novice and experienced teachers and the improvement of classroom instruction.
In this paper, we propose a probabilistic framework to predict the interaction probability of proteins. The notion of domain combination and domain combination pair is newly introduced and the prediction model in the framework takes domain combination pair as a basic unit of protein interactions to overcome the limitations of the conventional domain pair based prediction systems. The framework largely consists of prediction preparation and service stages. In the prediction preparation stage, two appearance probability matrices, which hold information on appearance frequencies of domain combination pairs in the interacting and non-interacting sets of protein pairs, are constructed. Based on the appearance probability matrix, a probability equation is devised. The equation maps a protein pair to a real number in the range of 0 to 1. Two distributions of interacting and non-interacting set of protein pairs are obtained using the equation. In the prediction service stage, the interaction probability of a Protein pair is predicted using the distributions and the equation. The validity of the prediction model is evaluated for the interacting set of protein pairs in Yeast organism and artificially generated non-interacting set of protein pairs. When 80% of the set of interacting protein pairs in DIP database are used as teaming set of interacting protein pairs, very high sensitivity(86%) and specificity(56%) are achieved within our framework.
