This study has taken the Myeongjidong island, which has experienced spatial change due to various reasons ranging from the Japanese colonial era until today, as an instance in order to comprehend macroscopic spatial change of the Nakdonggang Delta and the adaptation process of the locals in a microscopic point of view. Spatial change of the Myeongjidong has been confirmed by collecting maps such as the atlas of late period of Chosun published in 1910, topographic map, regional geography, city records, and by applying coordinates with geographic reference function of GIS program, then checking for time sequential space change of individual regions. Space change driven by the Japanese government-general of Korea, Gimhae Irrigation Association, and by national policy or planning brought about environmental and humanistic changes unlike ever before, and land usage, housing and industry of the region and the locals experienced various adaptation processes. Such processes were compiled through collection and comparison of literature, and supplementation from interview of the locals during field study. As for the research region, it ranged from the construction of Nakdonggang bank and Myeongji seawall of 1935, agricultural rural landscape formed after the area expansion project by Gimhae Irrigation Association in 1940, to landscape that are becoming mercantile and urban due to the developmental plans of national and local governments.

To stabilize the supply of kimchi by extending the storage period of spring kimchi cabbage, this study manufactured kimchi from spring kimchi cabbage under varying storage conditions and periods, and analyzed their quality and sensory characteristics following the maturing period. Trimming loss was lowest in the group of plasma+reverse direction+predrying+HDPE film processing. The salting yield of spring kimchi cabbage stored for 12 weeks was lower than that of spring kimchi cabbage stored for 6 weeks, and the kimchi yield was low in the pre-treatment group of spring kimchi cabbage stored for 12 weeks. The firmness was slightly different according to the storage period from one month of maturation. From the perspective of pH and acidity, the maturation in the reverse direction+pre-drying+HDPE film processing group was slower than that in the normal group (<0.05). In the sensory evaluation, the preference was increased in the low temperature storage processing group as the maturation period was increased (<0.05).

This study notes that the concept of painterliness, as defined by Heinrich $W{\ddot{o}}lfflin$, can apply to represent features in $Micha{\ddot{e}}l$, Dudok de Wit's animated short film Father and Daughter. It intends to examine the animated film's visual representation and narrative features in terms of painterliness. Comparing the Renaissance art style of the 16th century to the Baroque art style of the 17th century, $W{\ddot{o}}lfflin$ conceptualized the features of painterly style. In respect to this animated film, the images drawn by drawing tools are represented are represented by irregular and ambiguous shapes and meet $W{\ddot{o}}lfflin^{\prime}s$ conditions for painterly representation. Such a representation method in this animated film effectively functions as a double entendre or ambiguous narrative, while playing a key role in representing lyricism. In this animated film, painterliness contrasts with clarity, which commercial animated films provide, and plays a critical role in the representation methods utilized by auteurist animation directors. Painterliness in animated films is an element that should be highlighted, especially in the contemporary world where the forms of representation are becoming increasingly monolithic due to digital techniques. Continued research is greatly needed on this subject matter. Based on Father and Daughter, this study aims to examine the method of painterly representation that can be used in animation films, to explore its meaning and to underscore the importance of diversity in the forms of representation in animated films.

사회생활을 하는 사람이라면 하루에 꼭 한번 정도는 하는 일이 있다. 출퇴근, 회의, 그리고 자판기 이용이 그것이다. 이른아침 출근을 위해 지하철 무인 패스 판매기를 이용하고 출근해서는 나른한 오후시간을 깨우기위해 으례 커피자판기를 이용하기 일수이고 여가시간을 이용해서는 친구들과 가벼운 스티커 사진촬영을 하는 등 우리의 자판기 이용 문화는 이미 현대인 너무나도 보편화되고 친숙해져버린 생활의 한 단면이 되어버렸다. 그렇다면 자판기는 언제쯤 인간의 일상사 속에 등장하기 시작했을까? 놀랍게도 자판기의 기원은 기원전 215년으로 거슬러 올라간다. 당시 이집트 사원에서 `성수(聖水)`를 판매하기 위해 만들어졌던 동전식 조작장치가 최초의 자판기라는게 정설로 받아들여온 사실로서 동전을 넣으면 투입된 동전이 받치고 있던 접시가 기울어져 그 기울기가 원래대로 돌아올 때까지 출구로 물이 나오는 원리를 이용한 것이다. 누가 만든것인지는 명확히 밝혀지지 않았으나 확실한 것은 자판기의 역사가 이미 기원전으로 거슬러 올라가고 인간생활에 뿌리내린 역사가 깊다는 것이다. 아무튼 이렇게 자판기가 나타난 이래로 17세기에 키산드리아 과학자 헤론이 쓴 책이 발견되기 이전까지 자판기는 잊혀진 발명품이었다. 그러나 그 책의 발견과 함께 사람들은 옛문헌 속의 발명품의 실용성에 관심을 기울이기 시작했고 차츰 영국의 선술집과 여관 담배 자판기가 등장하기 시작했으며 자판기는 식민지까지 보급될 정도로 선풍적인 인기를 끌었다. 19세기에 들어서는 담배 이외의 물건을 판매할 수 있는 자판기에 관심을 두기 시작했고, 자유주의 사상이 풍미하던 시절, 영국에서 나타난 금서(禁書)자판기에서부터 상업문화가 발달한 미국의 껌볼 자판기에 이르기까지 자판기는 점차로 그 영역을 넓혀갔고 또한 발전해 왔던 것이다. 그러나 자동판매기의 이러한 급속한 발전과 소비영역에서 역량의 강화는 비단 단순한 소비패턴의 변화에서 기인하는 것이라고는 보기 어렵다. 이는 노동집약적 산업구조에서 기술집약적 산업사회로의 전환에 따른 대량생산, 대량소비, 소비패턴 변화 등의 마케팅 환경의 변화에 따라 새로운 유통구조의 출현이 요망되었기 때문이었다. 따라서 슈퍼마켓, 쇼핑센터 등의 새로운 유통구조의 출현 외에도 인건비의 상승, 장소의 제한 및 구입의 편리성 등에 따라 무인 자동판매기의 등장은 필연적이었다고 볼수 있다. 이후 자판기의 판매상품의 범위는 더욱 넓어졌고 컵라면, 인형, 마음에 드는 음악만을 골라담는 CD,휴지,구두광택기,사진스티커,콘돔,장난감,담배,여행용품,스낵,아이스크림 등등 소액권과 손가락만 있으면 살 수 있는 물건의 가짓수는 헤아리기 어려울 정도가 되었으며, 그만큼 유통혁신의 기구로서 산업에 미치는 영향 역시 증대되고 있으며, 이러한 경향은 21세기 정보화,첨단화 경향에 발맞추어 더욱 진보된 형태로 발전해오고 있다.

CGI not only performed a crucial role to make cinema and animation evolved into digital cinema and digital animation but also CGI, an important visual format, settled realism-centric spectacle image culture in public commercial cinema and animation. The fact that CGI visual format could be structuralized in three different view points is discovered through Iconicity, photorealism, verisimilitude, uncanny valley, hyperrealism, and spectacular realism discourse research which explain image culture. First, a formative viewpoint that comes up in an iconic difference between drawing and photograph. Secondly, a cognitive viewpoint that sees visually perceived naturalness and abnormality as a realistic probability issue. Lastly, a customary viewpoint which is rooted in aesthetic tradition of cinema and animation. After that, the features of CGI which is used in the movie 'jungle book'(2016) were analyzed using the structured visual format. Consequently, this movie has hyper-realistic photographic iconicity on the base of realistic probability. Also, by following image-aesthetic convention which uses overstated and amplified narrative as a visual format, at the same time, the movie also has sufficient image-aesthetic convention in animation by personified animal character.

The purpose of this research is to arouse attention to the importance of eliminating the 'Shadow Encroaching Phenomena on the Essence' in advertising expression by interdisciplinarily applying ethicality. This research shows that when advertising expression is planned and executed without enough consideration of ethicality, short-term effectiveness to reach goals can be increased, but it is easy to induce an unintended 'Shadows' Boomerang Phenomena'. This research also proposes that such processes arouse consumers' ethical defense mechanisms, possibly causing the 'Shadow Encroaching Phenomena' in the end. In conclusion, this research proposes the following. First, the pursuit of commercial profit in a capitalistic society must be done under the premise of securing a consensus of ethicality in a common society. Second, under the premise of an integrated process of education, sharing, execution, and confirmation of ethicality, companies can achieve both the micro-practical goal of profit pursuit and the macro-environmental goal of ecological sympathy.

This study tries 'interdisciplinary research' regarding the formation process of public sphere and the modern media on the Korean society. From the process where the civil society of modern ages is formed, the public sphere was condition that pulls down the feudal system of medieval Europe and appears the civil society. The modern newspaper collected the public opinion from lower part and did play a leading role which forms public sphere in Europe. Even from Korea the literary public sphere and political public sphere were developing inside the Chosun Dynasty period from lower part since 18th century. However the opening of a port became accomplished before making the printing media which is newspaper. As a result the public sphere in Korea was accomplished a conflict-structure. This study cleared where the crisis of Korean journalism is originated by presenting a conflict-structure differently with a transplantation theory or a graft hybrid hypothesis.

Arthrospira platensis (A. platensis) is an economically important filamentous microalgae. The isolation of mutants by chemical or physical mutagen is a clue for the strain improvement. In this study, effects of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation on A. platensis were investigated. Cells (or microalgae) were exposed to UV-B (15 Watt, 254 nm) for 1, 3, 5, and 10 min, and resulting mutants were designated UM1, UM3, UM5, and UM10, respectively. Especially, the lipid content of UM5 mutant was considerably increased by 8~11 fold compared to that of wild types. Moreover, the carotenoid content and antioxidant enzyme (peroxidase and superoxide dismutase) activity were increased. It was shown that UV-induced mutants can accumulate bioactive compounds, which will be useful for the industrial production of valuable products.

From the perspective of the artist who produces modern ornaments, I wanted to see the future of modern ornaments in the hyperconnected era. I would like to find a practical way of converging information communication technology, which is one of them, and applying nfc tag among them. For the practical approach, after looking at the actual examples of commercial ring products using nfc tag technology, I tried to find a practical method that can be applied to modern ornaments produced in the workshop. As a result, two realistic alternatives were drawn: the investment method, which is free to converge, but has limited technical utilization, and an assembly method that requires high convergence from the design planning stage. After then, to know investment methods, have been produced that may have problems with real applications. I made a real sample, not a concept, to explain the technical factors and precautions necessary for applying nfc technology.

Bonjeong-tong(本町通) which was originated from Japanese place name and commercial center during Japanese colonial period speaks for downtown in the urban Korea of today. This study tries to investigate a variety of place memories that have been layered in Bonjeong-tong in the case of Chungmu-ro and Myeongdong area in Seoul, Korea. The author settles the concept of 'place memory' from the viewpoint of the discipline of human geography, and reconstructs place memories of Bonjeong-tong by three folds of layers focusing on the multilayeredness and the contestedness of place memories which have been piled up in Bonjeong-tong; 'the symbol of colonial power' vs. 'the emblem of modernization', 'the heart of monetary capitalism' vs. 'the ground of humanists and artists', 'the space of fashion' vs. 'the place of identity'. As a result, the author places emphasis on that a place like Bonjeong-tong in itself within a city is a sort of palimpsest, and suggests that therefore it is necessary to adopt a vertical approach not a horizontal one for the study on urban space in future.
