Development of AI-based Real Time Agent Advisor System on Call Center - Focused on N Bank Call Center (AI기반 콜센터 실시간 상담 도우미 시스템 개발 - N은행 콜센터 사례를 중심으로)

  • The importance of the call center as a contact point for the enterprise is growing. However, call centers have difficulty with their operating agents due to the agents' lack of knowledge and owing to frequent agent turnover due to downturns in the business, which causes deterioration in the quality of customer service. Therefore, through an N-bank call center case study, we developed a system to reduce the burden of keeping up business knowledge and to improve customer service quality. It is a "real-time agent advisor" system that provides agents with answers to customer questions in real time by combining AI technology for speech recognition, natural language processing, and questions & answers for existing call center information systems, such as a private branch exchange (PBX) and computer telephony integration (CTI). As a result of the case study, we confirmed that the speech recognition system for real-time call analysis and the corpus construction method improves the natural speech processing performance of the query response system. Especially with name entity recognition (NER), the accuracy of the corpus learning improved by 31%. Also, after applying the agent advisor system, the positive feedback rate of agents about the answers from the agent advisor was 93.1%, which proved the system is helpful to the agents.

The Effect of Airport Security Screeners' New Technology Acceptance to the Innovation and Job Satisfaction of Airport Security (공항보안검색요원의 신기술 수용성이 공항보안업무의 직무만족도와 업무혁신성에 미치는 영향)

  • This research focuses on the perception of security screeners using a full body scanner at airport which had been newly introduced to terminal 2 of Incheon Int'l airport. To accomplish the purpose of research, this paper used UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model. Through an empirical analysis, it was proven the factors consisting of technological acceptance and how those factors affect both organizational innovation at airport and job satisfaction of security screeners. According to an empirical analysis, it was found out all the factors of technological acceptance have a significant effect on both organizational innovation and job satisfaction. However, only the effort expectation was shown to have a significant negative effect on the two dependant variables contrary to the other variables (performance expectation, behavioral intention and self efficacy. It was also proven organizational innovation had a moderating effect between technological acceptance and job satisfaction. Such results suggested organizational innovation at airport security division is necessary to enhance job satisfaction using a newly introduced full body scanner.

  • This study will explore the reenactment of visual special effects used in TV dramas. The subjects of the study are images that are reproduced in visual special effects through and . Accordingly, we looked at the changes in the way TV dramas were produced according to the times, and looked at the changes in the market. Also, we looked at cases of visual special effects of Korean dramas, and looked at expressions according to the degree of completion of visual special effects. For the purpose of the analysis of the research targets, the images of reproducibility and the flow through reality were analyzed. In the case of , the period setting is realistic, but visual special effects were used to maximize the actor's safety and expression, and in the case of , the visual effects were used to maximize the aesthetic of the period background. In addition, it can be seen that the visual special effects were used for the effect of PPL on the export of images. This shows that the emphasis of reality and image montage techniques are being used to pursue hyperrealism. It is now possible to actively express and use the beauty of TV dramas rather than technical limitations. In addition, the pursuit of realism can actively express the changing times of digital age. This is an active representation of the camera's angle, lighting, and perspective that coincides with the background. The environment of video production is crucial for realistic expressions. The study examined various visual directions and applications. In TV images, we looked at reproduction, which can make a natural period of time by combining. As a follow-up study, we are going to study the changes in the new quadratic image based on the present image representation.

A Study on the Effects of the R&D Activities and Patent on the Corporate Performance of Medical Device Firms in Korea (국내 의료기기 제조기업의 연구개발활동과 특허가 기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Companies conduct R&D for continuous development and enhancement of corporate value, and obtain patents as an intangible asset resulting from this process. This study screened 103 medical device firms whose R&D information, patent information, and management performance information were all published to determine how R&D activities and patents affect corporate operational performance. The number of patents, R&D costs, company type and Inno-Biz of the company were set as independent variables, and the companies' sales, intangible assets, operating profit ratios, net profit margins, corporate ratings and profit-related financial ratios were used as dependent variables. The results confirmed that R&D expenditure had negative (-) effects on most indicators, including sales volume, operating profit ratio, and net profit ratio, while it had positive (+) [ED highlight - these are unnecessary if negative and positive are also written out.] effects only on intangible assets. Additionally, domestic patents were found to have negative (-) effects on sales, cash flow ratings, and dropped capital return, and positive (+) effects on net profit growth. Moreover, the business performance variables affected by the company characteristics were sales volume and cash flow ratings. The medical device industry is dominated by small and medium-sized businesses Although research and development activities and patents have been shown to have a negative impact on corporate management in the short term, they are expected to have a positive long-term impact when reflecting the characteristics of the medical device industry that must undergo clinical trials and authorization procedures after R&D.

A Method for Determining Face Recognition Suitability of Face Image (얼굴영상의 얼굴인식 적합성 판정 방법)

  • Face recognition (FR) has been widely used in various applications, such as smart surveillance systems, immigration control in airports, user authentication in smart devices, and so on. FR in well-controlled conditions has been extensively studied and is relatively mature. However, in unconstrained conditions, FR performance could degrade due to undesired characteristics of the input face image (such as irregular facial pose variations). To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a new method for determining if an input image is suitable for FR. In the proposed method, for an input face image, reconstruction error is computed by using a predefined set of reference face images. Then, suitability can be determined by comparing the reconstruction error with a threshold value. In order to reduce the effect of illumination changes on the determination of suitability, a preprocessing algorithm is applied to the input and reference face images before the reconstruction. Experimental results show that the proposed method is able to accurately discriminate non-frontal and/or incorrectly aligned face images from correctly aligned frontal face images. In addition, only 3 ms is required to process a face image of $64{\times}64$ pixels, which further demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed method.

Study of Differences in Empathic Ability and Emotional Intelligence according to College Students' Counseling Course-taking Experience and Major (대학생의 상담수강경험과 전공에 따른 공감능력과 감성지능의 차이 연구)

  • This study examined whether there are differences in the empathic ability and emotional intelligence by college students' counseling course-taking experience and major. The research subjects were 313 college students, and an independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan post-hoc test were conducted for hypothesis testing. A difference in empathic ability was observed according to the students' sex, major, and counseling course-taking experience. A difference in emotional intelligence according to their sex and counseling course-taking experience was noted. Empathic ability was higher in females than in males, higher in the school of social sciences than in the school of science and technology, and higher in those who had counseling education than in those who did not. Emotional intelligence was higher in women than in men, and higher in students who had counseling education than in those who did not. Consequently, the effectiveness of counseling education was confirmed. On the other hand, a limitation of theoretical education was found in that there was no difference in emotional intelligence according to the major. Although empathic ability can be improved by education, the current curriculum has not improved it. This study has significance that it emphasizes the need for supplementing the curriculum, like practice or utilizing art media.

Influence of Temperature and Affinity of Disperse Dye on Dyeing of PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) Microfiber (PET 초극세사 염색에서 분산염료의 친화력과 온도 의존성)

  • PET microfibers with various diameters (0.5, 0.2, 0.06, and 0.01 dpf) were dyed with a dispersed dye (C.I. Disperse Blue 56) at various temperatures. The dyeing process was conducted under infinite dyebath conditions at constant temperatures. The effects of the dyeing temperature and diameter on the partition coefficient, affinity, and diffusion coefficient of disperse dyes were studied. The curve of isotherms was fitted well to Nernst-type model in a large range of initial dye concentrations. At the same temperature, the partition coefficient and affinity decreased with increasing sample diameter due to the increase in surface area. At all deniers, the partition coefficient and affinity decreased with increasing temperature because the dyeing process is an exothermic reaction. In addition, the decrease in radius of the sample gives rise to a decrease in the heat of dyeing. The fine diameter of the sample resulted in an increased surface area but decreased space between the microfibers. Consequently, decreasing the diameter of the microfibers leads to a decrease in the diffusion coefficient. At the same diameter, the diffusion coefficient increased with increasing temperature because of rapid dye movement and the large free volume of the sample inside. In addition, thermal dependence of the diffusion coefficient increased when the diameter of the sample increased.

A Research on the Cabin Service Quality Factors in a National Carrier affecting Overseas Tourist's Experience and Satisfactiont (여객의 해외여행 관광지 관광체험과 관광만족에 영향을 미치는 국적항공사 객실서비스 품질 요인 연구)

  • This study analyzed empirically the effects of the perception of outbound passengers, who flew from Korea to overseas tourist destinations, on the cabin service quality, tourist experience, and tourist satisfaction. For empirical analysis, a survey was given to Korean passengers using a national carrier of South Korea. Based on empirical analysis, the researchers judged that the analysis results and implications could be applied to inbound foreign passengers who visited Korea for the tourism purposes if researchers generated significant results from empirical analysis. This paper designed a research model that represented the meaningful relationship among, airline cabin-service quality, tourist experience, and tourist satisfaction following preceding research. According to the analysis, that factors that consisted of the cabin service quality had a significant effect on the tourist satisfaction with a mediating effect of both the cognitive and emotional tourist experience. Therefore, the perception on airline's cabin service quality of the national carrier would be a starting point that can help improve the tourist satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to summarize the changes in virtual reality utilization in model houses through the time-by-year example of model houses and to study the use and future development of virtual reality technologies in model houses. As a result of compiling and analyzing characteristics of virtual reality utilization flow in model houses of apartments, it is as follows. First, the market for apartment model houses using virtual reality was gradually expanded for the purpose of brand promotion by private construction companies. Second, technologies that utilize virtual reality in apartment sales are changing from virtual space construction to virtual content implementation. Third, it is changing from the existing method of face-to-face and method of accessing actual promotional media to the form of publicizing apartments using virtual reality. Through this research, it is estimated that it will be used as an information medium and a form of experience using physical environment and virtual reality in a physical model house for consumers looking for model houses. This study presents the future direction of the model house, and develops it as a post-sale maintenance / management system through ICT technology (3D scanning, 3D modeling, virtual content) Further research on the technology is expected to be needed.

Mobile Augmented Reality based CFD Simuation Post-Processor (모바일 증강현실 기술을 활용한 유체시뮬레이션 후처리기 연구)

  • The convergence of engineering and IT technology has brought many changes to the industry as well as academic research. In particular, computer simulation technology has evolved to a level that can accurately simulate actual physical phenomena and analyze them in real time. In this paper, we describe the CFD technology, which is mainly used in industry, and the post processor that uses the augmented reality which is emerging as the post-processing. Research on the visualization of fluid simulation results using AR technology is actively being carried out. However, due to the large size of the result data, it is limited to researches that are published in a desktop environment. Therefore, it is limitation that needs to be reviewed in actual space. In this paper, we discuss how to solve these problems. We analyze the fluid analysis results in the post-processing, and then perform optimizing data (more than 70%)to support operation in the mobile environment. In the visualization, lightweight data is used to perform real-time tracking using cloud computing, The analysis result is matched to the screen and visualized. This allows the user to review and analyze the fluid analysis results in an efficient and immersive manner in the various spaces where the simulation is performed.
