In this paper, the structural characteristics of Industry-University cooperation networks are analyzed using network analysis. Recent studies have shown that technological cooperation and joint research has a positive effect on R&D performance. In order to boost innovation performance, various types of cooperative activities and governmental policy supports for major R&D stakeholders(i.e. universities, laboratories, etc.) are provided. However, despite these efforts, the outcome is still insufficient, so it is time to prepare for a plan to build an innovative network to strengthen university-centered Industry-University cooperation activities. Specifically, this study builds the networks according to the form of Industry-University cooperations(i.e. patent, paper, joint research, and technology transfer), and different types of Industry-University cooperation networks are analyzed from a statistical viewpoint by using QAP correlation and regression analyses. The analysis results show that joint research network is closely related to paper network, and is related to other Industry-University cooperation networks. This study is expected to shed a light on supporting innovation activities such as establishing Industry-University cooperation strategies and discovering cooperative partners necessary for creating new growth engines for universities.

The main aim of this paper is to explore a strategy for the attraction of POSCO into Gangwon province through the collaborative network of industry-University institute-government. Although Gangwon province has abundant resources, the industrial development is stagnant owing to unfavorable conditions of industrial location. However, while attracting an magnesium smelting factory of POSCO into Gangneung city, the industrial development in the province faces a new phase for the industrialization in the region. Successful factors of the attraction are as follows; firstly, mutual collaborations of local government, research institutes, region-based firms; secondly, trust throughout rational proposals which are focused upon mutual regard of local government, POSCO and research institutes; thirdly, stategies for the attraction of POSCO which are based upon thorough analysis on such firm; finally, securing the demand market of forward industries.

This research focuses on the case studies for operating scheme of technology venture incubation centers located at science parks, technology parks, and foreign universities. Technology venture incubation centers in foreign countries commonly vitalize local economy, create job markets, and promote new venture industry. There is a distinct difference in many ways between foreign and domestic incubation centers. Foreign countries consider the position of incubation centers at national policy level. They characterize the operation of incubation centers into technology fields. They install the networks cooperating with experts and promote the management. Tenant companies moved in incubation centers enhance the degree of completion through industry-university cooperation. Universities and research centers utilize the results of R&D to make the business, accelerate to venture establishment with technical skills, and foster technology entrepreneurs by spin-offs. Through case studies we propose implications helpful to manage domestic technology incubation centers and management methods to be successful centers.

This research dwells on categorization and industrialization of cultural heritage resources using marketing. Since many organization would not grab the chance of business while doing marketing using cultural heritage, the paper intend to suggest proper way to develop strategy. For that purpose, this research analyzed some advanced cases of corporate like Google and other national endeavors. This paper founded out 4 models of marketing using cultural heritage resources. These are re-creation, patron, capitalization and media. Also we got practical implications of the case analysis and modeling which are collaboration partnership scheme between marketers and filed expert group. Marketers better find fitful information and right person utilizing more reliable sources such as national archives, and academic achievements. If the marketers implement such strategic program, really abundant types of cultural heritage resources using marketing could bring more favorable profit which means business chance and new horizon for global culture industry.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a model analysing spatio-temporal characteristics of the civil complaints for the officially assessed land price based on big data mining. Specifically, in this study, the underlying reasons for the civil complaints were found from the spatio-temporal perspectives, rather than the institutional factors, and a model was suggested monitoring a trend of the occurrence of such complaints. The official documents of 6,481 civil complaints for the officially assessed land price in the district of Jung-gu of Incheon Metropolitan City over the period from 2006 to 2015 along with their temporal and spatial poperties were collected and used for the analysis. Frequencies of major key words were examined by using a text mining method. Correlations among mafor key words were studied through the social network analysis. By calculating term frequency(TF) and term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF), which correspond to the weighted value of key words, I identified the major key words for the occurrence of the civil complaint for the officially assessed land price. Then the spatio-temporal characteristics of the civil complaints were examined by analysing hot spot based on the statistics of Getis-Ord $Gi^*$. It was found that the characteristic of civil complaints for the officially assessed land price were changing, forming a cluster that is linked spatio-temporally. Using text mining and social network analysis method, we could find out that the occurrence reason of civil complaints for the officially assessed land price could be identified quantitatively based on natural language. TF and TF-IDF, the weighted averages of key words, can be used as main explanatory variables to analyze spatio-temporal characteristics of civil complaints for the officially assessed land price since these statistics are different over time across different regions.
