A Study on Periodontal Disease Awareness and Periodontal Health Status among Industrial Workers (산업체 근로자들의 치주질환 인식 및 치주건강실태 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the periodontal disease awareness and periodontal health status of industrial workers in an attempt to help facilitate their prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. In regard to a knowledge acquisition route on periodontal diseases, the largest number of the industrial workers investigated(36.3%) learned about the diseases from dental hospitals. As to scaling cycle, the younger workers deemed it necessary to get their teeth scaled every six months. In contrary, the older workers considered it advisable to do that about once a year. Age made a statistically significant difference to that (p<.05). 2. As for the state of the periodontal diseases of the workers, the greatest group (26.5%) found themselves to have something between their teeth often. The second most prevalent peridontal disease was gingival bleeding(24.5%), and the third largest group(24.5%) had teeth that were sensitive to cold. The fourth greatest group(15.9%) had the swollen gums from time to time, and the fifth largest group(4.5%) had shaken teeth. 3. Concerning the cause of periodontal diseases, the largest group (48.8%) cited an incorrect toothbrushing. As to the prevention of periodontal diseases, the greatest group(66.8%) viewed the right toothbrushing as the best way for that as well.

Sodium Intakes of Some Industrial Workers (일부 산업체 근로자의 Sodium섭취에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 산업체 근로자의 Sodium섭취 실태를 파악하므로서 효율적인 식사관리와 건강관리의 기초자료를 얻고자 서울 시내 H타이어 공장에 근무하는 건강한 성인남자 40명을 대상으로 3일간의 식사분석과 뇨분석을 행한 것이다. 열량섭취는 1일 평균 3,185$\pm$813(mean$\pm$SD)kcal 였으며 영양소 섭취량은 당질이 541.8$\pm$144.5g, 단백질이 127.2$\pm$61.0g, 지방질이 56.8$\pm$42.7g이었고 총 열량의 68%, 16%, 16%를 차지했다. 식사분석에 의한 Sodium섭취량은 225.3$\pm$75.2mEq(13.2$\pm$4.4g Nacl)였으며 뇨중의 Sodium 배설량은 232.8$\pm$63.8mEq(13.7$\pm$3.5g NaCl)였다. 주요 음식의 1회 순섭취량에 대한 Sodium섭취는 국종류에서 가장 많았으며 1일 섭취하는 식사의 Sodium분포는 밥에서 6.9%, 국 35.7%, 반찬류 49.4%, 식탁에서 사용하는 조미료로서 5.1%, 간식에서 2.9%이었다. 당질섭취와 Sodium섭취, 단백질 섭취와 Sodium섭취 사이에는 강한 양의 상관을 보였다.

Analysis of Differences Between Spinal Stabilization Muscle Strength According to BMI for Industrial Workers (산업체 근로자의 비만도 따른 척추안정화근력 차이 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore differences of spinal stabilization muscle strength between groups classified by BMI for industrial workers. Fifty subjects participated in this study were divided to obesity group(BMI over $25kg/m^2$) and non obesity group(BMI under $25kg/m^2$). Independent t-test was applied for analysis. The results showed the following. There were significant differences in $0^{\circ}$ Forward on sagittal plane, in both $90^{\circ}$ Left, $90^{\circ}$ Right on coronal plane, in $45^{\circ}$ Left Tilt, $45^{\circ}$ Right Tilt on diagonal plane between groups. Last, There were significant differences in an amount of soft lean muscle and an amount of skeletal muscle between groups. These results shows that spinal stabilization muscle strength program for the obese should be considered in sagittal plane, coronal plane, and diagonal plane.

Nutrition survey for health improvement of lead workers (납사업장 근로자의 건강중진을 위한 영양조사)

  • 영양소의 충분한 섭취는 혈중 연농도의 체내 흡수 및 보유에 영향을 미치며, 혈중 연농도 또한 채내 영양상태에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 왔다. 본 연구는 연사업장 근로자들의 영양소 섭취상태를 조사하고, 각 영양소와 채내 혈중 연농도와의 상관성을 분석함으로써 혈중 연농도 조절을 위한 식사중재연구의 기초사료를 제공하고자 실시되었다. 대상자는 직장인 건강진단을 위해 순천향 천안 병원 건강증진센터에 방문한 김진자 95명(남자 63명, 여자 32명)과 산업체 직장 건강검진에 참여한 부평 및 구미의 연사업장 근로자 135명(남자 118명, 여자 17명)등 총 230명이었다. 영양소 섭취량을 비교한 곁과, 콜레스테롤 섭취량을 제외하고 전반적으로 대조군에 비해 근로자군에서 영양소 섭취량이 낮았다. 영양소 섭취량과 혈중 연함량과의 상관관계는 비타민 B₁, B₂ 콜레스테롤을 제외하고 모두 음의 상관관계를 보였으며, 특히 식이 단백질, 식이 섬유소, 칼슘, 철분, 인, 나트륨, 칼륨, 비타민 C, 나이아신에서 유의한 음의 상관성을 나타내었다. 따라서 연사업장 근로자들에서 혈중 연농도를 저하시키기 위한 가능한 중재방법으로 식사를 통한 충분한 영양소 선취의 긍정적 효과가 제시되었다.

Comprehensive Effect from Affective Factors of Oral Health on Oral Health Behaviors and Quality of Oral Health Life in Industrial Workers (산업장 근로자의 구강보건 정의적 요인이 구강건강 행위와 구강건강 삶의 질에 융합적으로 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect that the affective factors of oral health in industrial workers would have on oral health behaviors and quality of oral health life. A survey was performed of 100 subjects selected from 5 industrial companies located in Chungcheongbuk-do through simple random sampling method from January 19 to 23, 2018, using the questionnaires. The data collected from the survey were analyzed with frequency analysis, independent t-test, and multiple regression analysis by using the SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The results showed that the affective factors of oral health had an influence on oral health behaviors and that the influence on quality of oral health life was greater when the oral health practice intention was stronger. Based on aforesaid results, effective oral health programs, conducive to bringing changes to the affective factors of oral health, would need to be developed in order to enhance oral health behaviors and quality of oral health life in industrial workers.

  • 인간공학 및 생체공학을 근거한 종합적인 연구 모델 제시로, 산업체에 산재해있는 작업 중에 VDT Workstation과 관련된 근로자의 상지에 대한 직업성 누적적 질환의 연구로, 상지의 외상성 누적적 질환을 일으킬 수 있는 ergonomic stressor의 감지, 진단, 및 공학적 control를 이용 직업성 누적적 질환 예방을 궁극적 목적으로 하여, 근무 교대 및 일시적 보직 변경 등 근무 순환의 적절한 인사관리 및 누적적 피로를 극소화 할 수 있는 근무/휴식의 적절한 시간 안배를 제시하며, VDT 주변 환경과 근로자 사이의 적절한 운용에 대한 교육 program을 개발, 또한 휴식 시 stretch exercise (근육의 피로 이완을 목적) 방법 등을 제시하며, 누적적 질환의 조기 증상을 감지하여 업무의 적절한 순환을 통하여 직업성 질환으로서의 발전을 방지하고자 하는 것을 취지로 기초연구를 수행하고자 하였다. Concept Analysis about Workers Health (산업체 근무 생산직 근로자의 건강에 대한 개념분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the phenomenon worker's health as a basis for the future study. Concepts help us to identify how experiences are similar or equivqlent by categorizing all the things that are similar. The concept of health in workers was investigated using the Chinn and Krammer's method. The process of analysis involves choosing the concept, clarifying the purpose, using evidence of data, exploration of context, and value and category formalization. Dimensions of health in workers were identified as follows: \circled1 clinical dimension \circled2 role execution \circled3 coping with dimensia \circled4 mental well being \circled5 possibility \circled6 concrete activity \circled7 symbolization \circled8 hardiness Characteristics of anality of health in workers are activity, dimension of symbolization and of hardiness. Through this study it is identified that health in workers is with the beyond physical well-being, focused functional ability, and harmony environment.

  • The purpose of the research is to investigate the factors affecting the life quality of oral health according to the knowledge and behavior related with oral health. Total 272 people who work in Gyeong-Nam province participated in this survey. The research shows that major 4 factors are subjective whole body health, ages, dietary pattern and dry mouse. The subjective whole body health and dietary pattern have an positive effect on the life quality of oral health, whereas ages and dry mouse an negative effect on this. As a result, the health and the life quality of oral health should be improved by investigating the factors affecting oral health and thus developing the program enhancing the oral health to prevent oral disease.

Change of Cardiovascular Function of Industrial Workers Apply to Lumbar Stabilization Exercise according to the Floor Type (지면의 상태에 따른 요부안정화운동 적용 시 산업체 근로자의 심혈관기능 변화)

  • This study conducted the following experiment to examine effects of cardiovascular function on lumbar stabilization exercise(LSE) in floor or swiss ball. This experiment was conducted to compare heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and peripheral vascular oxygen saturation effects by lumbar stabilization exercise in floor or swiss ball with 18 normal adult and it divided 9 subjects. experiment group (1) is applying LSE on floor group and (2) is applying LSE on swiss ball group. Heart rate was measured by portable heart rate manometer, blood pressure was measured by hemodynamometer, and peripheral vascular oxygen concentration was measured using a computerized NURYTEC measuring apparatus analysis. These result lead us to the conclusion that systolic blood pressure and peripheral vascular oxygen concentration were influenced by LSE. but there was not differential effect between each groups. These results suggest that LSE has the capability to improve heart rate, blood pressure, peripheral vascular oxygen concentration. Consequently, LSE would be lead to increment of cardiovascular function.
