Factors Affecting the Intention to use the Favorite Channel Function: Focusing on Innate Innovativeness and Perceived Characteristics of Innovation, Viewing Behavior, and Social Influence (TV 북마킹으로서 TV 선호채널 설정기능 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 개혁성, 개혁의 특성, 시청행태 및 사회적 영향을 중심으로)

  • Considering the growing importance of TV favorite channel setting function due to the rapid increase of number of TV channels, this study tried to find factors which affect the attitude toward and intention to use the favorite channel setting function. As related theories, this study used theory of diffusion of innovation, channel repertoire, channel changing behaviors, and social influences and suggested research hypotheses and questions based on the theories. After collecting data through online survey of 192 general audience, this study empirically analyzed the data by using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that innate innovativeness, relative advantage and social critical mass affected attitude toward using the favorite channel setting function and that compatibility, visibility, social critical mass influenced intention to use the function.

지각된 가치와 사회적 영향이 공유경제 이용의도에 미치는 영향: 사회적자본의 조절효과를 중심으로

  • 최근 에어비앤비나 우버와 같은 협력적 소비 기반의 비즈니스모델을 가진 공유경제가 성장하고 있다. 본 논문은 공유경제에 대한 개념을 정의하고, 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 논문은 경제적, 기능적, 경험적, 사회적 가치를 포함한 4가지 지각된 가치와 주관적 규범, 이미지, 사회적 임계점을 구성하는 3가지 사회적 영향이 공유경제 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 신뢰와 사회적 규범, 네트워크와 사회구조를 포함한 사회적자본의 조절효과에 관심을 두고 있다. 가설을 검증하고자 온라인과 오프라인에서 설문조사를 실시하였고, 지각된 가치와 사회적 영향이 공유경제 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 변수별로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 또한 사회적자본의 조절효과를 알아보기 위하여 위계적인 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 지각된 가치 중 경제적, 경험적 가치는 공유경제 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적인 회귀분석의 결과에서 사회적자본은 지각된 가치와 사회적 영향의 공유경제 이용의도 관계에 있어 조절적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 지각된 가치를 통합적 분석, 기존 공유경제 연구에서 자주 다뤄지지 않았던 사회적 영향과 사회적자본의 요인을 다룬 점에 의미가 있지만, 설문조사 결과의 한계가 있었기에 향후 새로운 연구 방향성을 제시할 수 있다.

Study on the Vulnerability Regarding High Temperature Related Mortality in Korea (우리나라 지역별 고온 극한 현상에 의한 사망 취약도 비교)

  • This study tries to investigate the changes of mortality regarding heat waves which are usually considered as one of the most direct impacts of climate change. Based on 17 years data period (1994-2010), each city's threshold temperature and minimum mortality temperature are recognized. According to the results, minimum mortality temperature varies from 23 to $25^{\circ}C$, showing minimum temperature corresponding to $23^{\circ}C$ in Gangwondo and maximum temperature corresponding to $25.4^{\circ}C$ in Jeollabukdo and Major 7 city group. In case of threshold temperature, it ranges from 27 to $30^{\circ}C$. The cities having higher threshold temperatures tend to have large populations and vice versa. In addition, the cities having negative demographic vulnerability relatively have lower temperatures, representing correlation -0.44(p=0.06). The socio-economic-environmental vulnerability shows negative correlation with minimum mortality temperature(r=-0.36, p=0.032) and threshold temperature(r=-0.29, p=0.081). This paper represents that the number of mortality could increase rapidly and show large spatial differences in the number of mortality depending on various factors including natural, social, and economic factors of each region.

코로나19의 백신개발 동향 및 백신비축 규모에 관한 소론

  • 본고는 코로나19라는 글로벌 팬데믹 상황에서 감염병 역학모형에 관한 내용과 기초재생산수, 집단면역임계, 백신비축 등의 주요 개념을 개론 수준에서 다루었다. 국내 첫 감염자 발생 이후 4월 12일까지의 데이터를 기준으로 분석해 볼 때 한국의 기초재생산수는 약 2의 값을 가지는데 이는 코로나19가 발생한 다른 나라에 비해 현저히 낮은 수치로 평가된다. 만일에 코로나19 백신이 개발되는 것을 가정하여 이의 비축규모를 추정해보면 인구의 최소 62%에 공급할 수 있는 수준이어야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 한국의 코로나19의 성공적 대응에는 사회적 거리두기 정책이 주된 요인 중의 하나라는 점도 발견하였다. 그러나 5월 이후 사회적 거리두기에 대한 다소 느슨해진 경향이 없지 않은데, 지역감염의 확산을 위해서는 원론적으로 대응할 필요가 있다. 본고는 학술적 관점이 아닌, 방역의 실무적 차원에서 역학모형, 그리고 경제-역학 모형을 활용하는 방법을 소개한 것 뿐이다. 보다 정교한 역학 모형을 제대로 연구하기 위해서는 상당한 규모의 팀워크가 필요하다. 2015년 메르스 이후 역학조사를 위한 자원이 보강되었다 하지만, 앞으로 역학조사 인력, 데이터 시스템 구축, 그리고 보건·경제·통계·수학 분야 등의 연구진이 보강되어야 할 것이다.

The Efficiency of Social Value Among Social Enterprises in Social Progress Credit (사회성과인센티브 참여기업의 사회적 가치 효율성)

  • As an alternative to solving social problems, social economic actors are attracting attention as an important alternative. SPC is a private program that pays incentives according to the social performance measured by monetary value. This study measured efficiency by applying DEA to social enterprises that participated in the SPC program and analyzed the factors affecting efficiency through tobit regression. As a result of DEA analysis, it was found that 21% of social enterprises participating in SPC were efficient, but 66% needed to improve their efficiency. In the Tobit regression analysis, the efficiency was relatively low in the case of manufacturing sector, and when the square term of sales is included, the efficiency decreases as sales increase. Through this, it was estimated that external support is needed at a low level sales before crossing the critical point, and that the efficiency of social value creation increases when it grows above a certain level. Moreover, it is significant in that it combines the variables used in the analysis of traditional industrial efficiency while conducting efficiency analysis focusing on the social performance by monetary value, which is considered the most important achievement of social enterprises. It is believed that it will contribute to research related to the environment creation and the requirements of each field in creating social values for social enterprises in the future.

A Study on the Impact of Corporate Publicity on Social Responsibility Perception and Brand Attitude (기업의 공공성이 사회적 책임 인식과 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The growth paradigm that has led Korea for the last few decades is now reaching its critical point. Rather than focusing on the outcomes created by severe competitions of individual companies, a growth based on win-win system and solidarity focusing on public interests is more called for. In this background, I would like to examine the concept of corporate publicness and what factors consist of it. The study aims to verify a causal relationship that corporate publicness affects the corporation's social responsibility and consumers' favorability and credulity toward the company, and looks for the possibility that corporate publicness is recognized as a corporation's substantive competitiveness and an important management activity for its sustainability. The results of the study shows that corporate publicness is composed of 5 dimensions: sincerity, activeness, pursuit of public interest, harmony, and community spirit. Then the study statistically verifies that corporate publicness significantly has a positive impact on the overall evaluation results of a corporation's social responsibility. Lastly, the study confirms that corporate publicness and socially responsible activity of a company have a positive influence overall on the attitude toward the corporate brand. Based on these results, an implication is drawn that strengthening corporate publicness and its practice in action should be emphasized for a corporation to keep making outstanding performances in a sustainable way.

A Study on the Impact of Firm Size on the Threshold Point from Nonlinear Relationship between CSR and Firm Value (기업의 규모별 특성이 사회적 책임과 기업가치 간의 비선형 관계를 유발하는 임계점에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper analyzes the relationship between the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and Corporate Value to estimate whether the characteristics of Firm can change this relationship. Design/methodology/approach - This paper utilizes the total 776 firms' data over the period 2014-2018, and develops a new ESG index which was estimated by PCA. Findings - First, the estimated ESG index implies that Large company has the highest value of CSR, while Medium sized and Small company have the relatively low one. And comparing to the case of 2014, the trend of ESG index in Large company does not decrease in 2018. Second, there is a clear and significant non linear relationship between CSR and corporate value, it implies that the U-shaped exists in the Korean Firms. Such a tendency is mush stronger in the Large company. Third, the new ESG index indicates that it takes more time to increase Firm value in the Medium sized and Small company while there is a high possibility of increasing value in Large company from the little gab between the threshold points and mean value of ESG. Research implications or Originality - The non linear tendency between the Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Value is strongly affected by Firm size and the relative high quintile of ESG, but it is less affected by Firm history.

Analysis on erosion characteristics according to geomorphologic factor thresholds in the watershed (유역내 지형학적 인자의 임계특성에 따른 침식특성 분석)

  • 유역의 형상은 강우, 산사태 등과 같은 지배적인 침식작용과 더불어 지형 지질학적 요인들에 의해 결정되어 진다. 그러므로 유역형상에 대한 공간특성 분석을 위해서는 지형학적 요인과 다양한 침식작용에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 국내 외 많은 연구결과에 의하면 지형학적 인자에 의한 침식 형태는 국부경사와 집수면적의 크기에 의해 다양한 구간으로 나뉘며, 그 특성에 따라 지표침식, 세굴, 산사태 등으로 구분되는 것으로 연구된 바 있다. 일례로 유역 내 세굴과 관련된 지배인자는 집수면적보다는 국부경사에 반대로 지표침식, 산사태는 국부경사보다는 집수면적의 크기에 따라 영향을 받는다. 따라서 지형학적 인자(국부경사, 집수면적)의 임계치(threshold) 산출을 통해 침식특성(불안정지역)을 검토할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 물리적 검증은 여러 연구를 통해 물질플럭스(유량, 에너지)에 대한 Power Law로써 검증된바 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 지형학적 침식특성 분석을 위하여 2006년 집중호우에 의해 광역적 산사태가 발생한 강원도 평창군 진부면 일대의 $10m{\times}10m$ DEM로부터 국부경사, 집수면적을 산출하고 경사-면적한계곡선(Slope-Area Threshold Curve, SATC), 배수면적 확률분포곡선(Probability distribution of Drain Areas Curve, PDAC), 에너지지수 확률분포곡선(Probability distribution of Energy Index Curve, PEIC)를 실제 산사태지점과 중첩하여 도시하였다. 그 결과, 특정 임계구간(Threshold Area, Unstable area, 2~3권역)내에서 산사태 발생지점이 분포하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이를 통해 지형학적 인자만을 고려하여 미계측 유역에 대한 잠재적 불안정지역의 판별이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 추후 광역적 사면안정해석에 적용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study aims to understand a gamer participatory mechanism by comparing Gamer Participation 1.0(Bartz Liberation War) and Gamer Participation 2.0(Truck Demonstration). The process of gamers' political participation is analyzed by applying the communication-mediated O-S-O-R model with the case of gamers' truck protests caused by probability items' issue. This study found out that changes in the social, technological, and discursive layers that constitute the gamer's communication ecology led to diversification of communication channels and changes in the perception of games. Gamers utilized the technological layer of the media environment that presupposes immediate mutual communication, expressed opinions on issues in the mobilization process, and shared the necessity of participation to derive collective mobilization. Through communication, gamers were able to participate in socio-political issues with high participation thresholds. This study is significant in that it discussed the gamers' democratic citizenship and role as issue publics. The study suggests that the need for theoretical and methodological expansion to analyze various participatory cases.

  • The core of contents monetization is the consumer's willingness to pay. In the past, the terrestrial contents can be used through the frequency for free. As the terrestrial contents use via online services has been increased, the importance of willingness to pay for the broadcasting contents is getting bigger. To find critical factors which can influence on the willingness to pay for the terrestrial contents, independent factors are categorized into three. The independent factors are users' awareness for copyright protection, contents characteristics, and platform characteristics. The results show that attitude for paying, subjective norms for copyright protection, rapid providing of contents, quality of service, social critical point, and expected service value are found out as significant factors. This result implies that it is necessary to enhance platform competitiveness to survive in convergence environment and customer relationships should be reinforced to maintain them as loyal customers.
