A Study on the Impact of Social Workers' Job Satisfaction: Focusing on Individual and Organizational Factors (사회복지사의 직무만족도 영향에 관한 연구: 개인적 요인과 조직요인을 중심으로)

  • 본 연구에서는 사회복지시설에 근무하고 있는 사회복지사의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 개인적 요인과 조직요인의 주요변수를 검증하여 사회복지사의 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 정책적, 실천적 방안을 모색하기 위해 진행되었다. 분석자료는 2017년 사회복지 종사자의 보수수준 및 근로여건 실태조사 패널데이터 중 사회복지사 자격증을 갖고 근무하고 있는 사회복지사 8,075명을 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 사회복지사의 직무만족도는 보통이상(3.40점)이었다. 둘째, 사회복지사의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 개인적 요인으로 성별, 연령대, 결혼지위, 이직의도로 나타났고, 조직요인으로 총 보수액, 노동강도 대비 보수수준, 인권보장정도, 시설안전도, 시설유형 변인이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

The Context and Pattern of Turnover Social Workers Have Experienced (사회복지사들이 경험한 이직의 맥락과 패턴)

  • The purpose of this study is to discover the context and pattern of turnover social workers have experienced. To achieve this purpose, researchers collected data from in-depth interviews with seven social workers who have experiences of turnover and analysed the data using context-pattern analysis method. Research findings are composed of individual context-pattern analysis and integrated context-pattern analysis. In individual context-pattern analysis, researchers mixed time-dimension(before turnover/on the process/after turnover) and level-dimension(experienced phenomenon/meaning of experiences/context connected with phenomenon and meaning) and analysed the context of every stages and serial pattern. Also, we connected with each contexts and patterns and integrated the context-pattern of turnover. Integrated context-pattern structure is divided for four areas; organization before turnover, organization after turnover, social worker as a stakeholder of turnover, and network of social worker. Based on the results of the study, administrative recommendations were suggested in order to manage the turnover of social workers in social work fields.

The Influence of the Intimacy with Social Workers on the Use of Social Welfare Services of Married Immigrant Women - Focusing on Mediating Effects of Quantity of the Welfare Service-related Information (사회복지사와 친밀도가 여성결혼이민자의 서비스 이용정도에 미치는 영향 -'서비스 정보의 양'의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to explore the effect of the intimacy with social workers on the use of social welfare services of marriage-based female immigrants. Also, this study verified the effect of the quantity of the welfare service-related information as a mediated variable on the use of social welfare services. For this purpose, this study collected data from a total of 304 immigrant women married to Korean men living in City of Busan, City of Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province, and the data was analysed by SPSS 21. As the result of study, the intimacy with social workers had significant influences on the use of social welfare services of the married immigrant women. The results also showed that the intimacy with social workers contributed to the quantity of the welfare service-related information. Based on these results, implications of the important roles of social workers and the directions of their effective roles for the marriage based female immigrants to use the social welfare services were suggested.

Social Worker and Research Utilization in Social Work Practice (사회복지사들의 조사연구활용에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the research utilization in social work practice and to examine the factors associated with research utilization. The subjects of this study were social workers participating in social work practice in Korea. The sampling methods used in this study was a multistage sampling strategy. Data were collected by sending mails and follow-up mails to the social workers. Data from 569 of social workers were finally analyzed by ordered regression analysis. The results showed that the level of research utilization by social workers in Korea was very low, but their attitude toward research was positive. The variables affecting research utilization were related to the research ability of social workers, but the variables of research related environment except type of organization were not significant. The variables for research ability of social workers are experiences of utilizing journal articles, experiences of re-education for research methodology, gender, attitude about research usefulness. The variables for research related environment are characteristics of agency setting. The implications of social work research are discussed.
