현대사회는 인문학을 향하여 양면성을 보이고 있다고 생각된다. 한편으로는 현대 사회에 드리워진 어두운 모습을 보면서 인문학이 어떤 희망을 보여주어야 한다고 기대하면서, 다른 한편으로는 현대사회가 이미 돌이킬 수 없을 정도로 다원화되고 양화되고 사물화되어 버린 현실에 대해 인문학이 무엇을 제공할 수 있을까라는 의문을 품는 것이다. 소위 '인문학의 위기'라는 것은 사회가 인문학에 대해 가지는 양면성 안에 배태되어 있다고 보인다. $\ulcorner$표현인문학$\lrcorner$(생각의 나무, 2000년, 421면)의 공동 저자들(박이문, 유종호, 김치수, 김주연, 정덕애, 이규성, 최성만)은 사회의 양면성을 이중성으로 간주하지 않는다. 오히려 이 양면성을 심각한 과제로 인식하여 그 기대와 의문을 인문학이 성취하고 풀어야 하는 반성의 계기로 선택한다. 이 책은 그러한 과제를 향한 하나의 서설이다. 하나의 가능한 방향을 나타내고자 한 것이다. 공동 저자의 한 사람으로 이 책의 개요를 네 개의 명제로 제시하고자 한다.

The advancement of multicultural society and democracy in modern society demands radical and immense changes in artificial creatures. These changes have presented a universal paradigm that respects the human dignity and diversity. Currently studies on UD in differently regions & countries have emerged. Recently, the research has been doing a trend of development in the world. The purpose of this study is to identify the trend of universal designs researched in Korea. As a study method, contents analysis has been utilized using academic published journal article that were from 1997 until 2013. Sixty five academic journals were analyzed according to by type of literature, year, author's major area, research target & content. It was introduced in interior design filed and it was mostly introduced in the spatial fields of interior designs and architectures. It has been gradually expanded to design circles and further to non-design circles. It expected that this diffusion will be continued because multicultural and democratic society will become more mature in future.

The present study examined the overall receptivity of community members to migrant wives in Korea. A total of 23 community members from two regions, Ansan, an urban area and Youngam, a rural area, were selected for the interview based on their prior experience with migrant wives. Data were collected via a semi-structured interview method. The participants provided their personal feelings and thoughts on a variety of issues involving migrant wives, such as how they perceive migrant wives' original culture and lifestyles, the nature of their interaction experience with migrant wives, their overall evaluation of migrant wives, their opinions about migrant wives' cultural adaptation, and their opinions about the on-going transformation of the Korean society into a multi-racial, multi-cultural society. Interview results indicated that, although the participants' attitude toward migrant wives was positive, the overall receptivity to migrant wives was largely based on the traditional sex-role stereotypes typically found in the Korean society. Moreover, the vast majority of the participants endorsed a narrow-minded, uni-directional perspective on cultural adaptation which puts far greater emphasis on migrant wives' assimilation into the host culture than reciprocal influence process between the two cultures. Implications of the study and directions for future research were discussed.

사회적 변화에 따른 대중에게 열린 문화 공간이라는 현대 박물관의 사회적 역할과 기능에 대한 개념은 이미 보편화되어 있다. 다원화, 대중의 열린 교육 공간, 커뮤니티를 위한 공간 등 대중을 위한 지적ㆍ문화적 욕구를 충족시켜 주는 일상과 연계된 열린 공간으로의 변화가 세계적인 추세인 것이다. 하지만 대 사회적 역할을 수행해야 할 국내의 대규모 국ㆍ공립 박물관은 지속적으로 논의되어지고 있는 공공박물관의 역할을 수행하기에는 프로그램의 내용과 이를 수용하는 건축적 대응이 선진 외국박물관들에 비해 많은 면에서 미흡한 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 글에서는 현대 박물관들이 관람객과 지역주민들을 위해 마련하고 있는 다양한 프로그램의 유형과 그 운영실태를 파악하고 이와 대응하는 공공서비스영역의 건축적 고려에 대한 사항을 분석하여 공공박물관(Public Museum)개념의 적용에 있어 도움이 되는 방법을 제안해본다.

Archival science is prior to explore meaning and role of record management in given environments rather than developing record management methodology. Electronic record environments don't merely mean to exchange record management medium from paper to digital. The most important point exploring in electronic record environments is not management skills or methods, but meaning of records and role of record management in contemporary society. All these days, however, the theories and methodologies has been developed focusing on written records and public records mainly in the deep-rooted influence of positivism. In such situations, the discussions of social memories can explore meanings and roles of record management in pluralistic society. Meanwhile, many articles in archival science has been widespread recognition that records will soon be just memories in terms of objective and neutral evidence. In recently, however, conviction on objectivity and neutrality of records has broken down by the influence of postmodernism on archival science. Therefore this article intends to explore the relationship between record and memory and to argue the roles of archival science for building social memories.

This study attempts to analyze the critical issues of globalization and present an alternative framework that places ICT in the function of development in comparative perspective. To adjudicate the controversies concerning the effect of developmental factors, it examines the determinants of global trend that leads to the comprehensive mechanism of ICT and cultural residues. The advent of the global community in cyber space requires a new balancing point by the mode of communication and culture among all societies and operation with decentralized authority. This interdependence, by providing diverse network structures and participating in cyberspace, includes the power shift from the dynamics of international relations with voluntary collaboration and brings some important implications for a global empathetic society.

소비시장은 소비자들의 변화에 따라 함께 변천한다. 다가오는 21세기에는 소득수준의 향상과 다원화사회가 이룩되면서 소비자들의 라이프스타일과 소비행태도 새롭게 형성될 전망이다. 이는 21세기 소비자행태와 소비시장변화를 소득수준의 향상과 이에 따른 가치관의 변화, 자유시간의 증대, 신소비계층의 출현 등의 변수를 통해 예측된다. 최근, 사회 경제적으로 이루어지는 급격한 변화 등으로 소비자들의 라이프스타일이 다양화되면서 소비자들의 관광지 선택행동에서 변화를 가져오고 있다. 과거 저가격위주의 관광을 하던 관광자들이 점차 그들의 생활의 질을 추구하기 위해서 좀 더 많은 비용을 지불하고서도 보다 매력적인 관광지를 방문하는 것이 이러한 변화의 한 예라 할 수 있겠다. 관광자가 관광지를 선택하는 과정은 기본적으로 소비자의 점포선택이나 제품에 대한 선택과정과도 동일하다고 볼 수 있다. 왜냐하면 점포선택에 있어서 기본적으로 제기되는 소비자의 라이프스타일 유형이나 관광지선택에 따른 관광자 라이프스타일 유형의 선택속성은 그 구성면에서 유사하기 때문이다. 관광자 행동특성에 따른 라이프스타일 유형연구는, 다양화되어 가는 생활양식에 기인하여 관광지 선택행동의 연구에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

In the twenty-first century, it tends to deepen rich-poor gap and differences related to geographic location because of characteristic of polarization and diversification. Various social conflict that appear in the twenty-first century preclude independent effort and active of police from responding various public order problem of community The most important thing is widespread participation and cooperation of inhabitant and community in order to cope with various social change like localization, decentralization and democratization. Above all things, as human rights guardian in order to gain nation's trust, the police should induce dynamic change to desirable police which is wanted by nation in the organization. To achieve this, the police must overcome many negative customs and obstacles remaining organization despite endeavor of the police. In this manuscript, for this discussion, we search simply historical process of development, seek conception of the disadvantaged in regard to police duty, analyse the reality of human rights violation of the disadvantaged in execution of police duty through statistics and case study, find the problem and seek proper solution through improvement of the police legislative system.

Under the production system of a free market economy, the modern consumers'goods that feature current trends reveal diverse aspects of the whole society and culture. This phenomenon is progressing at such a rapid speed that theories can barely keep up to explain it dearly. It is believed that the reason for the lag in academic theories is the formation of pluralistic values in human lifestyles due to the development of science and information communication. The pluralism of values in contemporary society is being studied in many academic fields, and the design among these fields often sees such a phenomenon as one of the post-modernism concepts, where post-modernism suggests a diversification and dismantling of modernism. In other words, the current design is closely watching products that are totally different from existing products, from complex and conceptual outcomes in the field of design to products that reflect various trends. Thus, it is true that package design, which proactively reflects current trends, freely traverses among specific domains of various fields that have been determined tacitly. It is also believed that other fields are also reflecting the same developments. Such a phenomenon is strikingly revealed with so-called 'fancy products', while other products 'parody' package design. This study sees the phenomenon as dismantling the border between product design and package design. The examined package design reflects the broader characteristics of the times, based on current concepts and meanings, after reviewing design examples.

새로운 밀레니엄을 불과 몇 년 앞둔 지금 우리는 정치.경제.사회.문화.과학기술 등 전 분야에 걸쳐 전개되고 있는 역동적인 변화를 몸소 체험하고 있다. 냉전시대의 종식 이후 세계의 정치 구도는 경제패권을 둘러싼 지역화.블럭화의 경향을 보여주고, 플랜트와 하드웨어 중심의 규모의 경제가 기술중심의 소규모화 된 현장중심의 범인의 경제로 전환되는 와중에 있다. 사회.문화적 측면에도 오늘날 우리는 국제화, 다원화, 지방화의 무드 속에서 조직구조의 변화는 물론 이에 따른 인간의 가치관과 생활양식의 변화를 때로는 능동적으로 혹은 피동적으로 체험하고 있다. 한편, 과학 기술 분야의 변화는 거대 에너지와 물자를 활용하는 ‘힘-중심적’ 방향에서 새 사고와 아이디어를 요구하는 ‘지식-중심적’ 방향으로 옮겨가고 있다는 것이다. 이는 과학과 기술에 있어서도 에너지, 재료, 기계 등 대대적으로 활용하는 거시적 과학과 기술로부터 지식, 정보, 통신을 중심에 두는 정밀과학, 정밀기술 쪽으로의 변화가 진행중이라는 것을 의미한다. 사회의 변화와 관련된 교육적 대응의 원리는 두 가지 형태로 집약될 수 있다. 교육은 본질적으로 순응(accommodation)과 적응(adaptation)이라는 서로 상반되는 두 가지 기능을 수행한다. 순응의 원리는 교육의 탄생이래 교육목적의 본질에 해당되는 것으로 기존 사회질서의 유지와 체제 존속을 위해 교육은 과거로부터 전해져 내려오는 의미 있는 문화내용을 엄선하여 미성숙한 학생들에게 전수하고 그들로 하여금 문화와 전통을 계승하도록 하는 사회화에 그 일차적인 목적이 있다는 것이다. 따라서 순응의 원리를 강조하는 교육은 과거 지향적이며 외부의 변화에 대해 수동적인 자세를 견지한다. 한편, 적응의 원리에 입각한 교육은 문화와 전통에 대한 피동적 전승을 넘어서 사회의 변화에 따라 교육체제와 내용을 바꾸는 등 적극적으로 변화에 대응하고, 이러한 변화를 주도할 인간육성에 힘을 기울이는 교육방식을 취한다. 시대적 변화의 소용돌이 속에서 교육은 이제 기왕의 많은 교육적 신화들을 타파하고 뉴 밀레니엄을 준비해야할 기로에 서 있다. 현재의 변화를 슬기롭게 대처하고 미래의 변화에 능동적으로 적응하는 인간을 육성하기 위한 오늘날 교육의 사명은 우선 미래사회를 위한 교육정책의 방향을 수립하는 일이다. 교육정책은 국가의 교육방침으로서 현실 교육문제의 해결도 중요하지만 미래의 발전을 기약할 수 있는 장기적인 비젼과 목표 속에서 정립될 필요가 있다. 이러한 의도하에 본 연구는 21세기를 대비한 교육정책의 방향을 탐색하고 그에 따른 정책적 과제를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적하에 본고는 \circled1 과거 우리 나라의 교육정책을 반성적으로 회고하고, \circled2 미래사회에 대한 전망과 교육적 시사점을 분석하며, \circled3 마지막으로 21세기의 변화에 적응하기 위한 교육정책의 방향과 과제를 내용으로 제시하고자 한다.
