사회적 기업에 관한 선행연구 중 Dorado(2006)는 사회적 기업이 구성원개인의 파트너십이나 네트워크를 통하여 조직의 목표를 성취한다고 주장한 바 있다. 그리고 Social Firms UK(2007)가 발표한 Values-Based Checklist에서는 사회적기업의 경우 조직의 성취목표가 기업생존에서 고용성장을 거쳐 권한위임단계로 발전해 간다고 주장했다. 본 연구는 사회적 기업의 네트워크 구조와 네트워크 관계가 과연 국내 사회적 기업의 발전단계에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식을 통하여 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 전문가의 추천받아 서울, 경기, 부산, 경남 등지의 사회적 기업을 직접 방문하여 사례 연구를 위한 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 뿐만 아니라 실증연구를 위해 400장의 설문지를 배부하여, 그 중 유효한 215장을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, Bruderl & Preisedorfer(1998)의 모형보다 Haugh( 2007) 모형이 한국의 일자리제공 형 사회적 기업에 적합하다는 것을 검증하였고, 둘째, 구성원의 다양한 네트워크구조는 기업생존과 고용성장에 유의한 영향을 주며, 셋째, 구성원의 강한 네트워크 관계는 고용성장과 매출성장에 유의한 영향을 준다. 넷째, 사회적 기업의 생존은 네트워크구조와 매출성장에 완전매개효과를 나타내며, 다섯째, 사회적 기업의 생존은 네트워크구조와 고용성장에 부분매개효과를 나타낸다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 다음과 같은 시사점을 얻을 수 있다. 사회적 기업의 구성원의 다양한 외부 네트워크는 사회적 기업의 생존에 도움을 주며, 이러한 사회적 기업의 생존은 외부인들에게 더욱 더 강한 신뢰와 친밀감을 주어 사회적 기업으로 하여금 고용과 매출성장을 동시에 추구는 DBL기업으로 발전시켜 나간다.

We propose a method for geographically enhanced representation of social networks and implement a Web-based 3D visualization of geographical contexts in social networks. A renovated social network graph is illustrated by using two key components: (i) GWCMs (geographically weighted centrality measures) that reflect the differences in interaction intensity and spatial proximity among nodes and (ii) MSNG (map-integrated social network graph) that incorporates the GWCMs and the geographically referenced arrangement of nodes on a choroplethic map. For the integrated 3D visualization of the renovated social network graph, we employ X3D (Extensible 3D), a standard 3D authoring tool for the Web. An experimental case study of regional R&D collaboration provides a visual clue to geographical contexts in social networks including how the social centralization relates to spatial centralization.

The advent and growth of Social Network Services which make it possible to formulate and reinforce social relationships in the Internet has resulted in new type of social and economic phenomena. Social Network Services have developed based on the sociality and have effects on the sociality of individuals and companies. The factors affecting the adoption of Social Network Services are investigated and the influence of social network and social influence of a person on the adoption of Social Network Services are empirically tested.

This study aims to analyze a whole network effectiveness by expanding the unit of analysis beyond individual organizations in a network into network-level collaborative relations. Data for the analysis were drawn from the evaluation reports and surveys of leaders, mid-level managers, and staff members of the organizations participating in 'Community Network Building' project which was funded by Community Chest of Korea and carried out by the Academy of Korean Social Welfare Administration from November 2006 to November 2009. For the analysis, three out of the 10 networks established in diverse local communities were selected. Based on the survey conducted on the participating organizations and the center organization of each network, we analyzed the structural characteristics of interorganizational network at a network-level. Second, to analyze effectiveness of the whole network, we employed a multiple stakeholders perspective and examined the relations between the whole network's structure and its effectiveness. The findings showed that the whole network effectiveness is higher when the network is more centralized around the hub organization and more stable. The significance of this study is that it is provided and tested a new framework for network effectiveness evaluation by combining the two network effectiveness evaluation framework of Provan and Milward's with evolutionary organizational theory.

In spite of theoretical logics about the necessities and effects of community networking, we have easily watched the failure of netwoking efforts and break of community networks in everyday life. Starting from these experiences, I tried to understand the process of community networking from the networkers'point of view, by the qualitative research method. Through qualitative in-depth interviews on the 6 experienced social workers in 4 communities, I analyzed their experiences of community network building, presented the results(practical guidelines), especially for the social workers expecting to be a community netwoker themselves. They consist of 10 categories and 5 themes(Being a leader/leaderships, partnership/teamwork building, understanding the impact of context, resource usage, netwoking sustaining).

This study is identifying a social standing on adolescents' social network in offline and how the social standing influence to online social activity. For the purpose, we explore two research questions. First, How the adolescents' social standing present in their offline social network? Second, How the adolescents' social standing influence to online social activity? Using data, we first visualized 5 social network of adolescents, and deducted each ego networks and global network. Also we investigated causality between social standing and social activities. The result showed adolescents' social tie and social gregariousness influence to social activity width and depth in ego network. Based on these findings, we discussed some implications, limitations, and future direction.

The purpose of this study is a qualitative Study for development of measuring social capital in community. The indicator of social capital in this paper was developed through 1) literature review 2) in-depth interview with community welfare network members 3) a qualitative Study for concept development in light of social capital about trust, norms, networks 4) focus-group meeting for content validity verification 5) a pilot-study and 6) a questionnaire survey. The indicator of 79 items for has been constructed with three features : The first is 'trust' with 30 items; the second 'norm' with 22 items; and the third 'network' with 27 items. Cronbach's alpha estimate of the indicator of trust was .948, norms were .899 and networks were .906. This study has been revealed to the reliability and validity and therefor it was an appropriate measurement of social capital in community. The social capital scale developed in this study is useful to be objective about operating condition of community welfare network and to seek ways for pursuing more efficient operations.

21세기는 고령화사회, 국제화사회, 성숙사회 등 여러 가지 단면으로 잡아 볼 수 있다. 사회는 "마음의 풍부함" 또는 "여유"를 구하며, 그곳에서는 넓은 의미에서의 휴먼네트워크가 중요하게 된다. 이와 같은 휴먼네트워크를 떠받치는 수단으로서, 사회의 정보화, 더욱이 통신이 수행해야 할 역할은 점점 큰 것으로 된다. 전자공학, 정보공학의 진보와 잘 어울려서 통신 네트워크의 고도화가 진보하여 정보슈퍼하이웨이의 구축 또는 VOD(Video On DEMAND)등 멀티미디어통신서비스가 진전하여 네트워크형 산업구조, 사회구조가 형성되어 간다. 이와 같이 산업이나 사회로 통신기술의 전개·침투가 착착 진행하여 그것에 수반하여 통신을 질적으로도 산업구조적으로도 크게 변화해 간다.

지식 네트워크 (knowledge network) 구축은 지식의 재사용을 통하여 조식의 효율성을 개선시키고 지식 레버리지를 통하여 혁신을 촉진한다는 점에서 지식관리의 핵심적 요소이다. 본 연구는 (1) 개인이 집단 내 외에서 맺고 있는 지식 네트워크가 팀의 객관적, 주관적 성과에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고, (2) IT 활용이 지식 네트워크의 효과성을 어떻게 조절하는 가에 대해서 실증 함으로써, (3) 지식 네트워크 구축, IT 활용, 그리고 팀 성과 간의 관계에 대하여 학문적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 사회 네트워크 이론을 바탕으로 지식 네트워크의 집단 내부 결속과 외부 매개성을 통합하는 이론적 프레임워크를 개발하고 국내 5개 컨설팅 업체의 172명의 컨설턴트와 42개 프로젝트 팀을 대상으로 사회 네트워크 분석 (Social Network Analysis)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 지식 네트워크의 내부 결속(네트워크의 밀도)과 팀 성과의 선형적인 관계를 지지하였으며, 외부 매개성은 직접적으로 팀 성과에 영향을 미치지 않았으나 팀 수준의 IT 활용 (공동체적인 컴퓨터 매체의 활용)과 상호작용을 통해서 팀의 성과를 실질적으로 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.
