Assessment of flood hazard using 1D and 2D modeling in Rio Narcea, Spain (스페인 Rio Narcea 유역에서의 1D 및 2D 모델링을 이용한 홍수범람 평가)

  • Rio Narcea 는 스페인 북부에 위치한 Astuias 지역을 흐르는 Nalon River 의 한 지류로서 총연장 102km 유역 면적 1,135 m이며. 사행천으로 홍수 시 범람하기 쉬운 곡류천의 특성상 잦은 홍수피해를 받고 있는 지역이다. 특히 2010년 6월에는 일주일 사이에 홍수 피해가 두 번씩이나 발생함에 따라 수많은 인명피해가 발생하였고 사회 SOC 시설이 큰 타격을 입는 등 상당한 피해를 야기하였다. 이에 1D 및 2D 수리 모델링 프로그램을 이용하여 사행천에 수리특성을 분석하고, 그에 따른 홍수범람도를 작성하여 1D와 2D 모델링을 비교분석하였고 이를 이용하여 홍수 피해 방지 대책을 마련하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 1D 모델링은 HEC-GeoRAS 및 HEC-RAS를 이용하였으며, 2D 모델링에는 IBER를 이용하였다. Arc-GIS 툴을 이용한 HEC-GeoRAS 기능을 사용하여 강의 단면을 구성하고 HEC-RAS를 이용하여 1차원 모델링을 수행하였으며, 2D 모델링에는 스페인의 CIMNE에서 개발한 2차원 수리해석 프로그램인 IBER를 사용하였는데, 이 프로그램은 부정류 해석과 난류 해석, 유사이동 및 Dam-break 등의 해석이 가능하다. 1D 및 2D 모델링의 결과 값으로 얻어진 수심 및 유속을 토대로 1D는 Arc-GIS를 이용, 2D는 IBER 프로그램 내에 기능을 이용하여 바르셀로나에서 주로 사용되는 Catalan Water Agency 기준에 의한 홍수범람도를 작성하였다. 각각의 1D 와 2D 모델링으로 작성한 홍수범람도를 비교분석해 본 결과 거의 유사하게 표현됨을 알 수 있었으며, 두 모델링 기법 모두 홈수범람도를 표현함에 있어서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다. 대상지역의 관련 자료의 유무에 따라 구분하여 1D 혹은 2D 모델링 기법을 선택 사용할 수 있으며. 유역의 홍수발생시 인명과 재산 피해에 대비한 홍수범람 지도 및 홍수재해지도 제작에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

A Reproduction of Amusement With Prize(AWP) in perspective of Game Graphic and Game System (게임그래픽과 게임시스템적인 측면에서 사행성유기기구 모사)

  • Currently many people are concerned about 'Amusement With Prize(AWP)', together with the starting of Game Rating and Administration Committee (hereafter 'GRAC'). The mature-rated arcade games reproduced in reel game like the sea story in addition to main game and sub-game, causing social confusion in 2006, are waited for the reviewing of 'GRAC'. Although the game is reproduced in poker style as game system, in reel method as game graphic like 'AWP', the Supreme Court's decision is considered as a poker game May 23, 2013 in the past. Moreover, the Supreme Court said that it is not illegal because they decide that game users do not make a great loss in their possessions, without money change. The research tries to find the direction of the reviewing the mature-rated arcade game for guarantee of objectivity and reliability.

New Equation on Streamwise Variation of Secondary Flow in Meandering Channels (만곡수로에서 흐름방향에 따른 2차류의 변화량 산정식)

  • In this study, a theoretical equation was derived based on Odgaard (1986) and Chang (1988) to reveal the streamwise variation of the secondary flow in meandering channels. The new equation describes the transverse component of the secondary flow as a function of streamwise and vertical directions. To validate the proposed equation, hydraulic experiments were conducted in laboratory meandering channels having different sinuosity. Comparison of experimental results with the proposed equation and an existing equation revealed that the equation was in good agreement with the measured data. However, the existing equation overestimated the transverse velocity. Investigation of the variation of the secondary flow with respect to hydraulic parameters based on the new equation showed that the secondary flow tended to increase as the sinuosity, the roughness, and the aspect ratio became larger. Also, streamwise profile of the secondary flow was sensitive to variations of the roughness and the aspect ratio.

Analysis of Two-Dimensional Pollutant Transport in Meandering Streams (사행하천에서 오염물질의 2차원 거동특성 해석)

  • In this study, RMA2 and RMA4, the 2-D depth-averaged models, were employed to simulate the two-dimensional mixing characteristics of the pollutants in the natural streams. The velocity and depth were first calculated using RMA2, 2-D hydrodynamic model, and then the resulting flow field was inputted to RMA4, 2-D water quality model, to compute the concentration field. RMA models were verified using the velocity and concentration data measured in S-curved meandering channel. The results showed that the RMA2 model simulated well the phenomenon that the maximum velocity line is located at the Inner bank of meandering channel, and the RMA4 model was well adapted to reproduce the general mixing behavior and the separation of tracer clouds. Comparing model simulations with measured data in the field experiments, RMA2 model simulated well general flow field and tendency that the maximum velocity line skewed toward the outer bank which were found in field experiments. The simulations of RMA4 model showed that the center of the tracer cloud tends to follow the path in which the maximum velocity occurs. In this study, the dispersion coefficients are fine-tuned based on the measured coefficients calculated using field concentration data, and the results show reasonable agreement with predictive equations.

Experimental Study on Flow Characteristics in Meandering Channel (사행수로에서 흐름 특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In order to investigate characteristics of the primary flow and the secondary currents in the meandering channel, laboratory experiments were conducted in the meandering channel made up of alterative bends haying 120。 arc angle. Experiments were performed in two types of cross-sections, a rectangular cross-section and a curved cross-section which was made to adopt a beta probability function. Three-dimensional velocity fields were measured using a micro-ADV. As the result of experiments, in case of the rectangular cross-section, the primary flow occurred taking the shortest course, which is similar to the result of previous researches. In case of the curved cross-section, the primary flow was expected to occur along the thalweg. but it occurred almost along the shortest way. This is considered due to effects of bottom roughness and sinuosity Not only a main cell but also a secondary cell of secondary currents were clearly shown by mean of the stream function. The secondary current intensity has the maximum value near the apex of the second bend for cases of both rectangular and curved cross-sections. However, the value of the secondary current intensity for the curved section is slightly larger than that for the rectangular cross-section. Also, in case of the rectangular cross-section, the higher the ratio of width to depth is, the larger the secondary current intensity is.

The Association between Modes of Access to Betting Games and Problem Gambling among Adolescents : Focusing on Comparisons between On-line and Land-based Modes (청소년의 돈내기 게임 접촉방식과 문제도박의 관계 : 온라인과 오프라인 방식의 비교를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the modes of access to betting games among adolescents and analyzed the influence of on-line betting games (e.g., legalized gambling, illegal gambling, speculative games) on problem gambling. The raw data from the 2018 Survey on Youth Gambling Problems were used. Using a sample of 5,101 school adolescents who were from first-grade middle school students to second-grade high school students and who experienced betting games during the last three months, this study conducted cross tabulation and logistic regression analyses. Of the adolescents who experienced betting games, 17.8% experienced on-line games that were composed of 4.9% in illegal gambling, 2.4% in speculative games, and 0.4% in legalized gambling. Compared to land-based modes of gambling, on-line illegal gambling, legalized gambling, and speculative games were associated with higher odds of problem gambling. While on-line illegal gambling was associated with higher odds of problem gambling for female adolescents, on-line illegal gambling, legalized gambling, and speculative games were associated with higher odds of problem gambling for male adolescents. This study discussed intervention strategies to address problem gambling and modes of betting games among adolescents.

A study on the meaning of game policy through the amendment of game law (게임 법률의 제·개정을 통해 본 게임정책이 지향하는 의미 탐구)

  • Among the cultural industries, the game industry is the most economically valuable industry. It has been about twenty years since the game policy has been implemented and the game laws have been enacted. If the law is a willing expression for the realization of the policy, the orientation of the game policy can be grasped through revision of the game laws. SOUND RECORDS, VIDEO PRODUCTS, AND GAME SOFTWARE ACT, established in 1999, and GAME INDUSTRY PROMOTION ACT, which was enacted in 2006, are regulated by many revisions. In this paper, I try to understand the direction and meaning of Korean game policy(classification, game dysfunction, gambling, industry growth) through the contents of the revision of the game law for 20 years. The game policy shown through the amendment of the game law is intended to protect the game by regulating the game, and to protect the game user by preventing the gambling and preventing the game dysfunction, and to increase autonomy of users and choice of producers by switching to self rating system, and based on this, an environment for continuous industrial growth is created. In the future, game policies should consider cooperation with social areas beyond game-specific areas. On the other hand, it needs to respond to new agendas such as polarization of industrial structure, fair environment, employment environment.
