계란 살충제 파동으로 농가들은 AI에 이어 또 다시 불안에 떨고 있다. 이번 사태는 농장의 책임도 피할 수 없지만, 정부의 잘못된 제도와 부실한 관리 감독이 만들어 낸 인재이다. 정부에서 허가해 주고 지자체에서 지원해준 제품마저도 농가에서 고스란히 피해를 보는 상황에서 농가들은 어디에 하소연해야 할지 답답한 심정이다. 본지는 이번 사태를 겪으면서 닭 진드기에 대한 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 방법을 모색하기 위해 지금까지 닭 진드기 피해를 보지 않은 예산농장(대표 김영식)을 찾았다. 충남 예산에 위치한 예산농장은 이번 계란 안전성 관련 사태가 발생하자 지역 2개 농장(금덕농장, 호성농장)과 함께 계란 안전성에 대한 안내문을 지역 신문에 게재하는 등 적극 대처를 해왔으며, 차단 방역 등 위생적인 닭 관리로 닭 진드기 방제를 위해 노력해 오고 있다.

This study was carried out to compare the extractability and ATPase activity of actomyosin extracted shank, rib and loin muscle of beef meat stored at 8$^{\circ}C$. The extractability of actomyosin in shank, rib and loin muscle were 36.74, 72.55 and 56.77mg/g early in the storage, respectively. The extractability of the rib and loin muscle were similar, the shank muscle was processed differently with their. The Mg- and Ca-ATPase activity of the shank muscle rised to 3 days, but decreased the 6th day. And Mg- and Ca-ATPase activity of the rib muscle was similar during storage period, the loin muscle made a slow descent. The strength of Mg- and Ca-ATPase activity showed in the order shank, rib and loin muscle. The EDTA-ATPase activity of the shank and rib muscle was difference according to storage period and ionic strength, but the loin muscle was increase in succession with magnitude of ionic strength.

분양가 상한제에 전국적으로 13만 가구에 달하는 미분양 사태. 최근에는 공공 주택 용지 미분양 현상도 뚜렷하게 나타나고 있다. 건설 업계 전반에 주택을 지어도 사업성이 없다는 인식이 확산되면서 사업을 축소하거나 기피하는 업체들이 늘고 있어, 앞으로 주택 공급 부족 사태가 우려된다.

This study was designed to investigate the changes in meat quality of beef shank, rib and loin during storage at 8$^{\circ}C$. The shear force value(SFV) of beef shank and loin decreased significantly after 6days storage, beef loin was no significant difference during storage. The SFV in early storage period was high in the order of beef rib, loin and shank, but the SFV of beef rib and loin was similar in course of storage period. The Myofibrillar fragmentation index(MFI) of beef shank increased significantly after 6 days storage, but beef rib and loin early storage was high in the order of beef rib, loin and shank. The actomyosin extractability after 3days storage increased in all parts of beef, but beef loin decreased after 6 days storage. In case of Mg2+-ATPase activity of actomyosin, beef shank increased to 3 days storage, and this reached the level of 0 day after 6days. The MG2+-ATPase activity of beef rib and loin was similar, but beef rib in early storage was higher than beef loin. The Ca2+-TPase activity of beef shank increased to 3 days and decreased after 6 days storage, beef rib was not different during storage and beef loin decreased slightly during storage.

The transportation network is a critical infrastructure in the event of natural and human caused disasters such as rainfall, snowfall, and terror and so on. Particularly, the transportation network in an urban area where a large number of population live is subject to be negatively affected from such events. Therefore, efficient traffic operation plans are required to assist rapid evacuation and effective detour of vehicles on the network as soon as possible. Recently, ubiquitous communication and sensor network technology is very useful to improve data collection and connection related emergency information. In this study, we develop a specific algorithm to provide evacuation route and detour information only for vehicles under emergency situations. Our algorithm is based on shortest path search technique and dynamic traffic assignment. We perform the case study to evaluate model performance applying hypothetical scenarios involved terror. Results show that the model successfully describe effective path for each vehicle under emergency situation.

2011년 1분기에는 예기치 못한 일본 대지진과 중동사태 등으로 세계경제는 큰 타격을 입었으며 그로 인해 신재생 에너지 개발과 에너지 효율적인 경제구조 확립, 부품 소재 산업의 경쟁력 강화와 공급처 다변화의 중요성이 대두되었다. 이에 따라 한국 경제는 그 전략을 점진적으로 세워야 한다는 지적이 나왔다. 그러므로 우리는 이 시점에서 세계경제를 분석하고 한국 경제의 중장기적인 계획을 세워 보아야 할 필요가 있다. 다음은 삼성경제연구소에서 발표한 "2011년 세계경제 및 한국경제 전망"의 주요 내용을 정리 요약한 것이다.

2009년 발생한 DDoS 사태는 정보통신 인프라에 대한 높은 의존도를 나타내는 국내 산업에 있어 보안사고가 심각한 업무 중단 사태를 나타낼 수 있음을 보여주었고 정보통신 인프라 측면에서 사업연속성에 대한 대비체계가 필요함을 시사하고 있다. 국제 표준화 기구인 ISO(International Standard Organization)에서는 보안 사고에 국한된 개념이 아닌 사업연속성을 방해하는 모든 재난 및 재해에 대한 대비체계를 미국, 영국, 호주, 일본 등 재난관리 선진국의 표준을 총망라하여 TC(Technical Committee) 223을 통해 표준(안)으로서 제시하고 있다. TC223 표준(안)의 핵심은 사건, 사고에 대한 대비 및 운영 연속성 관리를 의미하는 IPOCM(Incedent Preparedness and Operational Continuity Management) 프레임워크이며 이러한 IPOCM의 개념은 정보통신 인프라 측면에서 사업 연속성에 대한 가이드라인을 제공하는 SC(Standard Committee) 27의 "ISO/IEC 27031 Guidelines for ICT readiness for business continuity" 표준(안)에 기반을 제공하고 있다. 이러한 국제 표준화 동향을 토대로 본 논문에서는 사업연속성을 위한 국내 정보통신 인프라 대비체계에 포함될 주요 구성요소와 구축 요구사항을 제안하고자 한다.

“다운사이징은 조직의 기술혁신에 어떠한 영향관계를 형성하면서 순환하는가？” 80년대 미국의 기업들이 다운사이징의 열풍을 건너면서, 90년대에 들어 국내의 기업들도 다운사이징 및 해고에 대한 정당성을 지속적으로 피력해 나갔다. 사회적 거부감의 팽배로 인해 본격적인 실행조치를 취하지는 못하던 중에, IMF 체제로까지 물려나간 기업들은 마침내 본격적으로 다운사이징을 실행 화하기 시작하였다. 기업이 다운사이징을 한다는 것은 해당기업은 물론이고 이해관계자, 정치영역, 사회전반체계 등에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 특히 국민정서가 개인주의가 아닌 공동체의식이 발달해있는 문화권에 속한 우리의 사정에서 그 영향력은 훨씬 더 막대하다. 수많은 논쟁들이 다운사이징의 정당성을 놓고 치열하게 진행되고 있다. 국내의 기업들이 겪고 있는 상황은 구태여 어떠한 자료를 제시하지 않더라도 그 생존에 대한 절실함은 이미 잘 알려져 있다. 한보파동, 기아사태, 대우사태로 연결되고 있는 기업들의 생존문제는 다운사이징의 정당성 문제를 이미 공리 화시키고 있다.(중략)
