History Management Technology of Building Construction and Maintenance Using Vector Photo Information and BIM (벡터사진 정보와 BIM을 활용한 건축물의 시공·유지관리 이력관리기술)

  • Recently proposed intelligent images are generating, storing and managing along with existing image information and 5W1H information. Therefore, these vector images can be useful in searching and managing photos taking during building construction and maintenance processes. In addition, when the vector photos, a key to the intelligent image, is linked with BIM, it is possible to find BIM objects by utilizing information included in vector photos. And if the taken vector photo is saved as attributes of the extracted object, the vector photo can be managed as the historical data. Furthermore, this new technology will contribute to make the management of construction information more efficiently. This study is about the development of the technology of extracting BIM objects from vector photo information and managing the attributes of the extracted objects. Also the prototype modules was developed and tested to evaluate the processes of setting reference points, converting coordinate system, calculating positions, and so on. Through these processes, it was confirmed that the possibility of extracting BIM objects from vector photos and of managing attribute data of objects.

  • 최근의 휴대전화는 음성 통화뿐만 아니라 메시지 및 이메일 송/수신, 사진/동영상 촬영 등 다양한 종류의 작업을 수행할 수 있으며, 그 기능이 점차 확장되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 화면 공간의 제약으로 인한 메뉴 항목명의 축약, 메뉴 항목수의 증가, 메뉴 구조의 복잡화 등의 원인 때문에 많은 사용자들이 메뉴검색에 불편함을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 기존의 메뉴 네비게이션을 통한 검색 방식, 하위 메뉴항목 제시 방식 이외에, 키워드 검색방식 및 유사 키워드 검색 방식을 개발하고 4가지 메뉴 검색방식의 사용성 평가실험을 수행하였다. 사용성 평가 실험 결과, 수행도 측면에서는 메뉴 검색 방식간의 차이가 유의하지 않았지만, 사용자 만족도 측면에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 존재하였다. 4가지 메뉴 검색 방식 중 유사 키워드 방식은 사용자 만족도 측면에서 가장 선호되는 방식으로써, 추후 실제 휴대전화에 적용될 경우 사용자 만족도를 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recent advance and popularization of smart devices and web application services based on cloud computing have made end-users to directly produce and, at the same time, consume the image contents. This leads to demands of unified contents management services. Thus, this paper proposestag clustering method based on semantic similarity for effective image categorization. We calculate the cost of semantic similarity between tags and cluster tags that are closely related. If tags are in a cluster, we suppose that images with them are also in a same cluster. Furthermore, we could recommend tags for new images on the basis of initial clusters.

  • 최근 미디어의 발전으로 빠른 속도로 많은 양의 사람들의 얼굴이 포함된 사진, 동영상들이 인터넷에 업로드 되고 있다. 이러한 현상에 맞춰 인공지능을 활용한 얼굴 인식 기술의 놀라운 발전이 있었으나, 대규모 데이터셋에서 임의의 인물을 검색하는 경우에서는 연산량과 저장공간의 부담이 존재한다. 특히, 인터넷에 존재하는 수많은 불법 촬영물에서 피해자를 정확하고 신속하게 검색하기 위해서는 효율적인 얼굴 검색 시스템이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문은 얼굴 특징 추출과 클러스터링을 활용하여 방대한 양의 불법 촬영물 셋에서 피해자 동영상을 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 불법 촬영물 동영상 검색 실험 환경을 만들기 위해 YouTube Faces [1] 데이터셋으로 유사 동영상 셋을 만들고 이 환경에서 실험을 진행한다. 얼굴 특징 추출 모델은 ResNet100 네트워크를 CosFace 손실함수와 Glint360K 데이터셋으로 학습시킨 모델 [2]을 사용한다. 추출된 얼굴 특징들을 HAC(Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering) 알고리즘으로 클러스터링 한 후, 클러스터 대푯값을 통해 얼굴 검색 실험을 했을 때의 실험 결과를 분석한다.

  • 캐리커처 생성 시스템은 입력된 인물 사진을 세그먼테이션을 통하여 특징(이목구비)을 추출하고, 추출된 특징정보를 이용하여 기와 유사한 특징정보를 가지는 캐리커처 이미지를 검색하여 매핑시키는 시스템이다. 캐리커처 생성 시스템에 얼굴 특징정보 추출은 색상과 모양에 대한 정보를 이용한다. 본 논문은 캐리커처생성을 위한 인물 사진을 세그멘테이션 처리하여 부분 영역 특징정보를 추출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이때 사용하는 이목구비의 특징정보를 위해 수직, 수평의 히스토그램이 주요하게 사용된다. 또한 인물 사진에서 위치정보를 이용하여 얼굴내의 이목구비를 확인하고, 추출하므로 정확한 정보를 이용할 수 있다.

Recognition of Passports using Enhanced Neural Networks and Photo Authentication (개선된 신경망과 사진 인증을 이용한 여권 인식)

  • Current emigration and immigration control inspects passports by the naked eye, registers them by manual input, and compares them with items of database. In this paper, we propose the method to recognize information codes of passports. The proposed passport recognition method extracts character-rows of information codes by applying sobel operator, horizontal smearing, and contour tracking algorithm. The extracted letter-row regions is binarized. After a CDM mask is applied to them in order to recover the individual codes, the individual codes are extracted by applying vertical smearing. The recognizing of individual codes is performed by the RBF network whose hidden layer is applied by ART 2 algorithm and whose learning between the hidden layer and the output layer is applied by a generalized delta learning method. After a photo region is extracted from the reference of the starting point of the extracted character-rows of information codes, that region is verified by the information of luminance, edge, and hue. The verified photo region is certified by the classified features by the ART 2 algorithm. The comparing experiment with real passport images confirmed the good performance of the proposed method.

  • In this paper we propose an integrated media format for a photo album including media resources and corresponding meta-data The main purpose of the integrated media is to be more reusable meta-data and to facilitate constructing a photo album from a large number of photo images as well. The proposed media format is based on MAF(multimedia Application Format) which is recently going on progress in MPEG standards. In this paper, we propose the integrated media consisting of JPEG data and content-based meta-data based on MPEG-7 MDS. We verified the usefulness of the proposed media through experiments with implementation of encoder and photo MAF player for the MAF-based media format.

  • Since the invention of Web, it became part of our daily life replacing the routine information search and effecting many activities which otherwise could have been done off-line without it. It was a natural evolution of the web technology, which had started out as a simple test based pattern matching, to be based on the optimized match process for its multi-media Web environment, like still images, music and movies that we are to face today. In this paper, we proposed and implemented the model which the multimedia resources can be efficiently shared in semantic web. After converting multimedia resource information(metadata) into RDF, for efficient management, the model separate and allotment actual multimedia resource and corresponding metadata changed to RDF to each server. The proposed model could be applied in all multimedia resources. For easy explanation and implementation, however, we applied it to the digital photograph in example.

  • Recently, as the increase in interaction between the person and the person, the people plentifully use the business card to exchange personal information. So, the people have many business cards. Thus, the people are liable to lose the business cards and finding a wanted business card is very difficult in the huge business cards in offline. And, the people think the business card is a way, which can express individuality. So, the people want to have the business card, which has individuality. Thus, this paper proposes the card system, which is satisfied to solve many problems of the card system in offline and express individuality. The proposed business card system can produce various business cards and puts contents such as video, photo, voice into business cards via mobile devices in anywhere, anytime. Also, this business card system follows the vCard format, which is a file format standard for personal data interchange. Finally, we provide with content-based business card retrieval using video and photo inserted into business cards. Thus, this paper proposes the hybrid business card system, which is satisfied to produce business cards expressed individuality and follows the vCard format.

  • Many researcher contended that the tourism types of modern society has changed to 'experience tourism' from 'seeing tourism' recently. Therefore attempts to add edutainment factors in the original tour program has been introduced in cases of tourism cave. As we can see the Hwaam-cave in Jungsun-gun, by preparing with various pavilions which are well-matched with tourism cave. So, the purpose of this study is to the presentations of the activation programs that having on characteristics of edutainment tourism resources for tourism cave. Thus, first of all for establishing of this study, we examined the characteristics and values as tourism resources of cave and then observed the roles and examples of edutainment tourism cave, finally suggested.
