A Study on the Automation of Interior Orientation and Relative Orientation (내부표정과 상호표정의 자동화에 관한 연구)

  • Owing to the rapid development of computer system and the introduction of image processing technique, recent photogrammetric studies have been concentrated on the automation of photogrammetric orientation work that have been carried out by skilled professionals in analog and/or analytical pbotogrammetric field. To automate the whole photogrammetric work, the automation of the orientation processes including interior, relative and absolute orientation should be preceded. This study aims to automate interior orientation and relative orientation process. For this purpose, we applied Hough transform to interior orientation process and object space matching technique to relative orientation process. As the result of this study, we can present a method to automate interior and relative orientation process that has been semi-automatically operated in most commercial digital photogrammetric workstations currently available.

Quality Improvement on Aerial Photographs (항공사진 품질향상 방안)

  • As primary source data toward the systematic and efficient management of national land, the aerial photographs have been utilized in many different areas. However, the quality of aerial photographs does not meet the requirement of the users due to unidentified miscellaneous reasons. Aiming for the improvement of the quality of aerial photographs, we first investigated the current status of domestic rules and working procedures related to aerial photographing and film processing in great details. In addition, we investigated and analyzed those of advanced nations such as U.S.A., Canada, G.B. and so on. It was drawn from the comparison and analysis that the poor quality of domestic aerial photographs resulted from lack of the quantitative and objective standards on aerial photography specification as well as poor condition and aging problem of equipments such as aerial camera and film developing equipment. In this paper, we proposed a stepwise strategic plan which consists of the aerial photography specification and quantitative quality control standard taking into consideration the current status of domestic rules and working procedures.

The Generation of 3D Geospatial Data using Digital Photogrammetry System (수치사진측량시스템을 이용한 3차원 공간데이터 구축)

  • Aerial photogrammetry, which is one of the most frequent used technology in mapping and surveying, has been appreciated for its work flow and accuracy to generate 2D and 3D geospatial data. In aerial photograrnrnetry, more than two photographs are taken over the same target area in different position with overlap. Using these photographs and minimum number of ground control points, 3D stereo model is so formed that the ground surface in reality is reconstructed through analogue/analytical plotter or digital photogrammetry system. In case of digital photogrammetry system, 3D geospatial data could be automatically extracted in partial. Recently, in the advent of aerial digital camera such as ADS40 and DMC, digital photogrammetry system will be in the frist place for generating 3D geospatial data. In this paper, we experimentally generated 3D geospatial data using digital photograrnrnetry system in the aspect of work flow.

  • 수치정사사진지도를 제작하기 위한 기반 자료로 스캐닝한 수치항공사진영상과 항공사진의 왜곡 보정을 위한 표정, DEM의 추출과 편집 및 편위 수정에 이르기까지 다양한 처리절차가 필요하다. 또한 영상과 벡티 자료의 중첩을 통해 생선한 영상지도의 편집과 지도제작 작업에는 다양한 미적 요소가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 수치항공사진 영상을 이용하여, 영상에 내포하는 기하학적 변위를 3차원 모델링 결과와 수치표고모델을 이용하여 소거하고, 수치정사사진을 제작한 후에, 1/5,000 수치지도에서 필요한 레이어와 중첩시킨 수치정사사진지도를 제작하여 그 정확도를 분석하였으며, 각 처리 단계별 문제점의 분석과 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 비젼의 사진측량학적 방법과 대상물의 기하학적 정보를 결합하여, 사진으로부터 건축물의 정확한 값을 복원해 내는 새로운 모델링 시스템을 소개한다. 사용자의 간단한 프로토타입핑으로 얻은 대략의 모델 정보를 시스템이 사진 이미지와의 오차를 최소화하는 방법으로 자동적으로 모델 정보를 복원해 내며, 사진에서 최선의 텍스쳐 맵을 생성해 내므로, 세밀한 모델링 없이도 사진 수준의 사실적인(photo-realistic)모델을 얻을 수 있다. 빠르고 간단한 방법으로 실재 대상의 효과적인 모델을 얻을 수 있는 이 연구의 성과는 가상현실 분야의 모델링 작업에서 추구하는 바와 일치하므로, 가상현실 분야에서 유용하게 사용될 것으로 보이며, 알맞은 대상에 적용을 통해 실질적인 응용이 기대되어진다.

  • The Quality and Accuracy of digital image is important factor for decision of accuracy in digital photogrammetry because all the inside works in digital photogrammetry are based on digital image. But it is still difficult to ensure quality assurance and appication of data because there is no distinct criterion about quality and accuracy of digital image when the works in digital photogrammetry is accomplished. This study presents optimal resolution of aerial photo through error analysis of image coordinate using auto inner orientation in digital photograrnrnetry workstation. In second step, we are valified to optimum resolution of aerial photo image with orientation analysis. Finally, we are established to validity optimal resolution of aerial photo image with production of ortho image and mosaic image using optimal resolution aerial photo image.

  • 단일 나노선 연구에 있어서 나노선에 원하는 패턴을 선택적으로 구현하는 새로운 방법을 소개한다. 기존에 많이 쓰였던 SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) 사진을 통한 나노선의 위치를 찾는 방법은 전자빔에 의해 유도되는 비결정성 탄소입자 등으로 인해 측정하고자하는 나노선의 전기적 특성을 왜곡시킬 수 있다. 이러한 점을 예방하고 작업의 편리성을 위하여 ER(E-beam Resist)이 코팅된 상태에서 바로 SEM을 이용해 패터닝하는 방법을 고안하였다. 또 다른 방법으로 기존의 AFM(Atomic Force Microscope) 사진으로 위치를 찾는 방식의 단점인 긴 작업시간을 개선하기 위해 광학현미경 사진을 이용해 패터닝하는 방법을 고안하였다. 이러한 방법들은 작업의 편리성이나 패턴의 정확도면에서 서로 보완적인 성격을 가지고 있어 필요에 따라 방법을 선택할 수 있다.

Proofing for Offset Printing Using an Inkjet Photo Printer and Photoshop Program (포토샵 프로그램과 사진용 잉크젯 프린터를 이용한 인쇄 교정)

  • This study on the proofing what used to correct the color difference between the photo image and offset press. Printing photos with color offset press always make the differs, because of the difference in gamut. Photographer hopes to be able to use the proofing with inkjet printer for reduce these differences. In this study, I experiment with various ways for the proofing by photographer directly. It is using the ink jet printer and image outputs of the various mode was applied to a variety of color setting value. And calculate the output image using a spectrophotometer and compared with the image of offset press. At last I can found a very similar color setting value with the offset image. After all this research is to obtain a result of finding out proofing work flow through method to measure and how to apply various color setting value results.

  • Digital photogrammetry is one of the powerful tools for surveying in more perceptual ways and exploiting the continuously developing computer technology. Nowadays, digital photogrammetry is being used for a number of industrial measurements and inspections but the automation aspect of this technique is not fully developed yet. Photogrammetric work, which is obtained through usual workflow, delays for a big amount of CGP surveying, interpretation and cadastral information. Therefore through studying ways of reducing the volume of photogrammetric works, financial opportunities for digital photogrammetry can be found. This research is focused on the development of the new workflow and study algorithm in digital photogrammetry. Using this result we can reduce financial expenses and improve technologies of topographic and cadastral plans creation.
