An analysis of behavioral characteristics in drivers in roll-over accident (전복사고 운전자를 대상으로 자동차 안전장치에 대한 행동특성 분석)

  • This is to analyze of driver behavioral and the accident characteristics in rollover. The study period was January 2011 to May 2014 and the subject of study was 102 person who were drivers visited the emergency room. Research tool includes a damage information of the vehicle, accident mechanism, damage to the patient clinical information with the injury data from the ROAD Traffic Authority. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 was used for t-test, ANOVA and Chi-square test. Injury Severity Score average score according to the vehicle type is 6.00 points in the smaller vehicle, at high vehicle 11.78 points, from the other vehicle that showed 14.70 points. Significant differences between the three groups did not show (P=.267). Men did not use a seat belt significantly compared to women(P=.007). Vehicle type and weather, this was no correlation with whether or not use the seat belt(P=.755, P=.793). But showed a tendency to smaller size vehicles drivers do not use a seat belt, the weather could see a little more inclined to use a seat belt rather than a sunny day. Finally, in rollover accidents as in other types of accident it was confirmed that the seat belt has a great influence on the damage.

Visual Representation of Fear Appeals in Chinese Public Service Advertising -Focused on HuangHe Award-winning Public Service Posters- (중국 공익광고에 나타난 공포소구의 시각적 표현 -중국 황하상(黃河奬) 공익포스터를 중심으로-)

  • Public service advertising is a form of communication activity performed to increase public interest. In order to improve the effectiveness of public service advertising, it is necessary to formulate advertising strategies that can actually induce positive action changes. China has various social problems because of dramatic social changes, which call for implementing public service advertising. This study aims to improve the persuasive effects of Chinese public service advertising by addressing effective communication strategies. In particular, we selected 33 works that use fear appeals from 2016 HuangHe Award-winning posters and analyzed their visual representation of fear appeals. The results suggest that fear appeals are frequently used in safe driving and anti-smoking campaigns. In addition, main colors of these posters were black and white. The main fearful images were often represented in a form of 'fact' and 'factual conception' and in the type of 'picture.' They also have features of implicit association' and 'exaggeration'. This study has a significance in terms of providing theoretical and empirical information to future research on improvement of public service advertising in China.

An Analysis on Occupational Content in the Technology & Home Economics Textbooks of High School (고등학교 기술·가정 교과서의 직업 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzed content of and recognition on occupations shown from Technology Home Economics textbooks of the high school elective subject having a higher connection with the career development capability for the occupational world as shown from a curriculum analysis. Hence, this study selected 3 kinds of high school Technology Home Economics textbooks with a higher share from 6 in the 2007 revised curriculum and analyzed a frequency by characteristic of occupational content and recognition on description of a occupation. Content analyzed by researchers was examined by 2 school teachers to ensure the validity and objectivity of research findings. Research findings show that there is a great deal of frequency difference in occupations suggested by publisher and unit in the Technology Home Economics subject. Also suggestion frequency of the occupational classification by level from Korean standard industrial classification did not correspond to an actual situation of employment. Occupation names suggested from textbooks occupied 3.3% of those by Korean Occupation Dictionary, showing a higher suggestion ratio at occupations preferred by adolescents. In the textbooks, occupations were suggested from reading materials, photos and illustrations more than from texts. Recognition on descriptions of occupations showed for the most part the neutral(82.8%) and the positive16.2%)', and there was no biased intention even from some negative cases(1.0%). Based on research findings, this research has significance in that it suggested things to be considered for teaching career development capability in the high school Technology Home Economics subject and need for cultivating teachers' specialty to understand occupations and instruct career development. It also suggested improvements to be required for a new curriculum textbook.

An Empirical Analysis of the Characteristics of Entertainers -The 2020 Mr. Trotting Finalists- (예능인에 관한 인상학적 특징 분석 -2020년 미스터트롯 결승진출자를 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed the impressional characteristics and commonality of the seven people who reached the final final in the 2020 TV Chosun Mister Trot contest, which is the result of the success of the entertainer through the impression. The analysis criteria were set by referring to the classic Ma-uisangbeob and the academic papers on Impressionism, and the faces of seven subjects were collected from the Internet and media. The results of the analysis showed that the following common points were found: First, hair was developed on both sides of the forehead rather than the development of the forehead, which is suitable for arts and physical education rather than studying. Second, most of them had eyebrow bones [the brains of the brain] and cartilage inside their ears was protruding, which is a type of success through effort, deciding on their own life. Third, the mouth was large, the lips were straight, and the neck was thick. This also showed the temperament and talent of artistic ability. Fourth, it developed greatly in the corresponding part by age. In conclusion, while the inherently innate features of facial features cannot prove all that is fatalistic, the characteristic elements of certain talents were clearly manifested. And what they were able to gain and be loved in the entertainment industry was the result of their own efforts beyond it. These results have implications that can be used to determine their talents or career paths in simple aspects.

A Study on the use Case Analysis of Broadcasting CG and the role of Graphic Designer (방송CG 활용 사례 분석과 그래픽디자이너의 역할에 관한 연구)

  • In the meantime, broadcasting CG has gone through the process of dismantling, changing, and distorting, while broadcasting CG in broadcasting programs utilizes the expanded background of 'temporality' and 'formality'. This is to create an audiovisual language that appeals to human synesthesia by expressing the meaning to be conveyed in three dimensions. Broadcast CG goes beyond simple instructional and informational broadcast graphic operation, and increases the pure aesthetic value and sensibility of the video considering readability and formativeness, and through this, the audiovisual information perfection of the broadcast program is derived and acts as a very important factor. Therefore, this paper examines the results of broadcast CG production and utilization methods at existing local broadcasters, and identifies the limitations of local broadcasters' CG production and utilization through case analysis for each broadcast program type. We want to derive a model that is a compromise line. In addition, I would like to suggest a plan that can be applied more actively and practically to local broadcasting programs. In order to solve this problem, this study first examines "Analysis of cases of use of broadcasting CG production in broadcasting programs" and then "more efficient broadcasting CG production techniques by identifying problems in broadcasting CG production methods and utilization of local broadcasters" and how to actively use it". In addition, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of a new role and practical broadcast CG production model for broadcast graphic designers in charge of broadcast CG production and the technical perspective of broadcast program production by local broadcasters.

Periimplant bone change after alveolar ridge preservation: radiographic retrospective study (발치와 치조제 보존술 후 식립한 임플란트 주위 골 변화: 후향적 방사선학적 분석)

  • Purpose. The aim of this study is to evaluate bone change around the implant in patients who underwent alveolar ridge preservation for implantation in the posterior teeth using radiographic data measuring changes of mesial, distal crestal bone level according to post-implantation, post-final prosthesis delivery and follow-up periods. Materials and methods. In total, 36 implants were placed in 32 patients. The mesial and distal crestal bone level of all the areas where alveolar ridge preservation was performed uses panoramic images taken post-implantation, post-final prosthesis delivery, and follow-up period each was measured and evaluated as a vertical value. The following factors were analyzed: associations between changes of crestal bone level and factors (e.g., age, sex, systemic diseases, dentist, implant location, tooth, bone type, membrane). The statistical analysis was performed using the mean, standard deviation and independent t-test, paired t-test (P < .05). Results. Analysis of crestal bone level differences between periods shows statistically significant differences (P < .05). There was no statistically significant difference when the changes of crestal bone level between post-implantation, post-final prosthesis delivery and follow-up periods were correlated with each factors. Conclusion. After alveolar ridge preservation, bone around the implant remained stable during the maintenance period without being affected by the patient and surgical factors, and alveolar ridge preservation is considered a clinically usable procedure.

A Study on the Gaze Flow of Internet Portal Sites Utilizing Eye Tracking (아이트래킹을 활용한 인터넷 포털사이트의 시선 흐름에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated through eye tracking what gaze path the audience searches through portal sites (Naver, Daum, Zoom, and Nate). As a result of the layout analysis according to the gaze path of the search engine, the four main pages, which can be called to be the gateway to information search, appeared in the form of a Z-shaped layout. The news and search pages of each site use an F-shape, which means that when people's eyes move from top to right in an F-shape, they read while moving their eyes from left to right(LTR), which sequentially moves to the bottom. As a result of analyzing through the heat map, gaze plot, and cluster, which are the visual analysis indicators of eye tracking, the concentration of eyes on the photo and head copy was found the most in the heat map, and it can be said to be of high interest in the information. The flow of gaze flows downward from the top left to the right, and it can be seen that the cluster is most concentrated at the top of the portal site. The website designer should focus on improving the accessibility and readability of the information desired by the user in the layout design, and periodic interface changes are required by investigating and analyzing the tendencies and behavioral patterns of the main users.

The Analysis of Characteristics and Plan to Activate the Small Wedding Reported in Internet News (인터넷 뉴스에 보도된 작은 결혼식의 특징 분석 및 활성화 방안)

  • This study has purpose in analyzing the characteristics of small weddings reported in the internet news, and suggesting the plan to activate it. The materials are about 248 internet news from 2012 to 2018, and frequency analysis and chi-square test were conducted for it. The research result is like the following. 1. It was reported that the saving type was higher in 2016 and the money gift improving type was higher rate in 2015. 2. As a venue for wedding, it was reported the saving type and free type choose the public institution, the small size type hotels, the peculiar type outdoor and house, money gift improving type hotel and public institutions. 3. The saving type, peculiar type and free type were likely to be reported as information transfer, and the small size type and the money gift improving type were likely to be reported to suggest the case of small weddings. 4. Case type showed high rate for public institutions and hotels for small weddings, and information type showed high rate for public institution for small wedding venue. 5. Case type and information type showed favorable rate for small wedding, and opinion type appeared similar favorable rate and unfavorable rate for small weddings. 6. Ordinary people showed high rate to be reported with saving type, celebrities were with small size type. And also the ordinary people showed high rate public institutions, celebrities with hotel as small wedding venue. 7. The items to save the cost in small wedding included more of venue renting cost, reception cost, wreath/decoration cost, photo filming cost than marriage expenses and wedding gifts, house.

Yun Chi-Ho's Garden Plan for the Anglo-Korean School in Gaeseong (윤치호의 개성 한영서원 정원 계획)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the background of the plans and the spatial characteristics of the garden at the Anglo-Korean School, an educational institution established in Gaeseong in 1906 by Yun Chi-ho and the American Methodist Church. The time scope of the study is from 1906, when the school was opened, to the early 1920s, when the basic building structure of the school was completed. The spatial scope is the school complex, located in Gaeseong, and its affiliated facilities. The contents of the study include the planning background and purpose, spatial layout, and plants used in the school garden. This study reviewed Yun Ch'i-ho's papers and Warren A. Candler's papers at Emory University, documents, photos, and maps produced in the early 20th century. The results show that the school garden was first mentioned at the school's opening and that with a strong will, Yun Chi-ho insisted on establishing a school garden. The garden was located around the engineering department building and was divided into several sections and lots. Economic plants, such as fruit trees, comprised the garden and were sourced from the Methodist Church of the South, USA. This study reveals that the garden at the Anglo-Korean School functioned as a training ground for agriculture and horticulture education and was differentiated from Seowon, a traditional Korean academy that symbolically spaced Neo-Confucianism and that emphasized the views of the surrounding nature during the Joseon Dynasty.

Deep learning algorithms for identifying 79 dental implant types (79종의 임플란트 식별을 위한 딥러닝 알고리즘)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy and clinical usability of an identification model using deep learning for 79 dental implant types. Materials and Methods: A total of 45396 implant fixture images were collected through panoramic radiographs of patients who received implant treatment from 2001 to 2020 at 30 dental clinics. The collected implant images were 79 types from 18 manufacturers. EfficientNet and Meta Pseudo Labels algorithms were used. For EfficientNet, EfficientNet-B0 and EfficientNet-B4 were used as submodels. For Meta Pseudo Labels, two models were applied according to the widen factor. Top 1 accuracy was measured for EfficientNet and top 1 and top 5 accuracy for Meta Pseudo Labels were measured. Results: EfficientNet-B0 and EfficientNet-B4 showed top 1 accuracy of 89.4. Meta Pseudo Labels 1 showed top 1 accuracy of 87.96, and Meta pseudo labels 2 with increased widen factor showed 88.35. In Top5 Accuracy, the score of Meta Pseudo Labels 1 was 97.90, which was 0.11% higher than 97.79 of Meta Pseudo Labels 2. Conclusion: All four deep learning algorithms used for implant identification in this study showed close to 90% accuracy. In order to increase the clinical applicability of deep learning for implant identification, it will be necessary to collect a wider amount of data and develop a fine-tuned algorithm for implant identification.
