Though there is no agreement on the definition of analogical reasoning, there is no doubt that analogical reasoning is the means of mathematical knowledge construction. Mathematicians generally have a tendency or desire to find similarities between new and existing Ideas, and new and existing representations. They construct appropriate links to new ideas or new representations by focusing on common relational structures of mathematical situations rather than on superficial details. This focus is analogical reasoning at work in the construction of mathematical knowledge. Since analogical reasoning is the means by which mathematicians do mathematics and is close]y linked to measures of intelligence, it should be considered important in mathematics education. This study investigates how mathematicians used analogical reasoning, what role did it flay when they construct new concept or problem solving strategy.

Yaw-checking and course-keeping ability in IMO's ship manoeuvrability standards is reviewed from the viewpoint cf sole navigation Three kinds of virtual series-ships, which have different course instability, are taken as test models. The numerical simulation on Z-test is carried out in order to examine the correlation between known manoeuvrability in spiral characteristics and various kinds of overshoot angle. Then simulator experiments are executed with series-ships in a curoed, narrow waterway by six operators(five active pilots and one ex-captain) in order to examine the correlation between known manoeuvrability and degree of manoeuvring difficulty. IMO criteria for yaw-checking and course-keeping ability are discussed and revised criteria are proposed.

The WAP gateway. for wireless internet applications services, is a software that is placed between the user terminals(PDA, mobile phones) and the WAP/Web server. H is a middleware system that converts the protocol of a packet network to the protocol on the WAP network, and supports the encoding of WML documents. In this paper, we designed and implemented the WAP gateway based on the WAP specification version 1.2 announced by the WAP forum. It provides cross-platform compatibility by being implemented by the Java language. Compared with a Kannel system using a Nokia tool kit version 1.2, it provides a more excellent performance and a stability.

Ultrasonic propagation velocities of both the dilatational and shear waves through the weathered tuff soil sampled from the area tying between Ulanbator and Beijing were measured under temperature condition of near subzero by means of sing-around method. After comparing the results with obtained data on unfrozen water content, a linear relation between velocities and unfrozen water content was performed with high coefficient value. Experimental results of two kinds of rather uniform materials, namely, glass-beads and silica micro-beads, testified the similar linear relations. In addition, the change rate of dilatational wave velocities with the change of volumetric unfrozen water content was not dependent on soil type. Although a rational theory of the ultrasonic velocities dependence on the unfrozen water content is not yet proposed, the presented empirical relationships may suggest the appropriate evaluation to the effect of unfrozen water on dynamic characteristics of frozen soil.

시맨틱웹의 구현 도구로써 온톨로지가 있다. 온톨로지는 지식개념의 의미적 연결을 하는데 사용된다. 영어 위키피디아를 토대로 한 영어 DBpedia 온톨로지는 스키마(owl파일 형태)와 인스턴스 모두 잘 구축이 되어있다. 그리고 영어 DBpedia의 각 Class에 한글은 레이블의 형태로 달려있다. 하지만 한글 레이블을 가지고 있지 않은 영어 DBpedia의 Class들이 절반이 넘기 때문에 한글 Class들만으로 된 스키마 구축은 의미가 있다. 한글 Class들로 만들어진 스키마가 있다면 두 한글 온톨로지 사이의 클래스 매칭 알고리즘을 위한 실험이나 한글 온톨로지 자동 증강 알고리즘의 연구 등에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서 구축한 한글 DBpedia 온톨로지 스키마는 영문 DBpedia 온톨로지의 계층구조와 한글 클래스와 영문 클래스 사이의 매핑정보를 바탕으로 구축되었다. 그리고 기존에 제공되는 한글 DBpedia 온톨로지 클래스의 영어매핑 정보가 있는 한글 프로퍼티와 영어매핑 정보가 없는 한글 프로퍼티를 모두 한글 클래스의 프로퍼티로 입력해주었다.

Timely collaboration among businesses is required these days such as in B2B E-Commerce. That is, emergency requests or urgent information among businesses should be processed in an immediate mode. In this paper we investigate the semantics on timing constraints of timely collaboration among businesses in terms of event, data, and action and present ECA rule construction related to the timing constraints and its violation. The prototype is implemented using web-based active functionality component.

본 연구에서는 웹과 분산된 환경에서 신뢰할 수 있고 확장성 있는 워크플로우 관리 시스템의 구조와 워크플로우 관리 시스템의 핵심인 워크플로우 엔진의 구조를 설계하고 제안한 구조에 맞는 프로토타입 엔진을 구현하였다. 구현된 엔진은 다양한 Transition 타입을 지원하므로 실제 B2B환경에서 발생하는 다양한 형태의 비즈니스 타입을 지원한다. 또한 엔진 내의 인스턴트를 관리하는 인스턴트 관리자에 인스턴트들 사이의 처리 순서를 결정하는 인스턴트 스케줄링 기능이 들어있다. 이 인스턴트 스케줄링 기능은 인스턴트들을 사이에 우선순위를 부여한다든지 인스턴트의 실시간 보장을 위한 여러 관련 처리가 가능케 하여준다. 이외에 Invoked Application으로 웹 애플리케이션을 사용할 경우 Relevant Data를 어떻게 전달할 것인지, Notification 서비스, Monitoring 서비스 기능들을 고려하여 설계 및 구현하였다.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG(ATCC 53103) is one of the best researched probiotic strains in the world. Studies in children have shown that Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG effectively prevents early atopic disease in patients with high risk. The active molecules associated with the immunostimulatory sequence and anti-allergy effects of L. rhamnosus GG have not yet been identified. Unmethylated CpG motifs in bacterial DNA have a mitogenic effect in mouse immune cells, CpG-containing ISS oligodeoxynucleotides are potent Th1 adjuvants, effective in both preventing and reversing Th2-biased immune deviation in allergy models. The genomic DNA of L. rhamnosus GG is a potent inducer of murine B cell and dendritic cell immunoactivation. In L. rhamnosus GG genomic DNA, ID35 shows high activity in ISS assays in both mice and humans. The effects of ID35 result from a unique TTTCGTT motif located at its 5'-end, and its effects are comparable with murine prototype CpG 1826. L. rhamnosus GG is known to secrete proteinaceous pili encoded by the spaCBA gene cluster. The presence of pili structures may be essential for its adhesion to human intestinal mucus, explaining the prolonged duration of intestinal residence of this bacterium, compared to that of non-piliated lactobacilli.

Skin temperatures were tested under the same conditions by using the thermography in order to extract the biological characteristics of the physical constitutional types in according to the Lee's 4 type physical constitutional theory. The subjects of this experiment were 14 ; 5 Macro-Negative subjects, 5 Micro-Negative subjects, 3 Micro-Positive subjects and 1 Macro-Positive subject. All subjects were stimulated with 2.5Hz 30Vpeak-peak pulses for 2 minutes. As the results, in normal prestimulation state the skin temperatures of the trunk in Micro-Positive and Macro-Positive subjects were higher than those of Macro-Negative and Micro-Negative subjects. In Macro-Negative subjects the reflected skin temperature of lever was the highest in the anterior trunk. In Micro-Negative subjects the reflected skin temperature of kidney was the highest in the trunk. In Micro-Positive subjects the reflected skin temperature of stomach was the highest in the trunk.In Macro-Positive subject the reflected skin temperature of lung was the highest in the trunk. In transient poststimulation state, heart rate was decreased in 7 cases among of 10 Macro-Negative ana Micro-Negative subjects, but it was increased in 3 cases among of 4 Micro-Positive and Macro-Positive subjects. And the hand temerature was increased in 8 cases among of 10 Macro-Negative and Micro-Negative subjects, but it was decreased in 3 cases among of 4 Micro-Positive and Macro-Positive subjects.

This study is to examine the causal relationship between adolescents' academic stress and suicidal thoughts via depression and gender differences of causal relationships in each causal paths. The purpose of this study is to suggest some implications based on this analytical results. For this purpose, we conducted interviews using a questionnaire targeting high school students. The analytical results shows that adolescent's academic stress has a significant effects on their depression and suicidal thoughts, and adolescent's depression also has a significant effects on suicidal thoughts. This study suggests some implications based on this results.
