Purpose: The aim of this study was to figure out present status of the cyberchondria in Korean optometry and present an appropriate countermeasure against it. Methods: We conducted a survey of consumer group and optician group about the cyberchondria, and analyzed its results. Results: In Korean optometry, a large difference of awareness of the on-line information was revealed between the consumer group and the optician group, so that we could know existence of the cyberchondria. Conclusions: We conclude that opticians' active consulting is the most proper and effective countermeasure against the cyberchondria.

중앙집중 구조의 멀티미디어 콘텐트 서비스에서는 서버의 과부하 문제와 네트워크 트래픽의 급격한 증가 문제가 발생한다. 최근에는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 디지털콘텐트 전송기술로 CDN에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 CDN을 통한 디지털콘텐트의 서비스에서 안전하고 효율적인 전송 성능을 지닌 시스템을 설계하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 CDN을 기반으로 대규모의 디지털콘텐트의 전송 및 관리 시스템에서, 디지털콘텐트의 그룹별 관리를 통한 디지털콘텐트의 안전성과 전송성능을 개선한 시스템을 설계하였다.

본 논문에서는 국내에 산재한 생물다양성정보를 e-Learning에 활용하기 위하여 KISTI에서 구축한 생물다양성 데이터베이스 현황과 e-Learning의 기술요소 등을 조사하였으며, 기존에 구축된 생물다양성정보 데이터베이스를 활용하여 일반인과 학생을 위한 e-Learning 생물다양성 학습 콘텐트를 기획하고 설계하였다. 본 설계를 바탕으로 생물다양성 콘텐트를 개발한다면, 국토가 좁고, 네트워크 인프라가 잘 갖추어져 있는 우리나라의 실정에 맞는 사이버공간상의 학습의 장으로서 일반인과 학생들에게도 양질의 e-Learning 학습 콘텐트를 제공할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

디지털콘텐츠 '사이버 박람회'라는 모토로 한국데이터베이스진흥센터에서 운영하는 온엑스포(www.onexpo.or.kr). 데이터베이스, 소프트웨어, 전자책, 게임, 무선인터넷 콘텐츠 등으로 디지털 콘텐츠를 분류해 인터넷상에 상설전시 함으로써 시공의 제한없이 제품전시 및 해외 마케팅 창구 역할을 하고 있다. 월간 [디지털콘텐트]는 온엑스포 입점업체를 소개해 우수 개발업체를 발굴하고, 기업 간의 네트워크를 활성하고자 한다.

최근들어 멀티미디어 기술 및 컴퓨터 네트워크 기술이 획기적으로 발전되고 확산됨에 따라 이와같은 기술을 교육현장에도 활용함으로써 교육의 효과를 높이는 동시에 시공의 한계를 극복하려는 시도가 원격 교육을 통해 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 추세에 본 연구는 효과적인 실시간 원격교육이 이루어지기 위한 대책으로 다양한 멀티미디어 사이버 콘텐트 구현방안을 제시하였다. 멀티미디어 콘텐트의 인프라는 리얼서버 시스템을 기반으로 하여 상호대화적인 실시간 원격교육이 이루어지도록 한다.

This paper has studied the concept and technical factors of e-Learning system to which we intend to apply domestic biodiversity information. This article describes how we analyzed and designed the e-learning system to serve biodiversity information as e-Learning contents. It would be useful for the public and students if this information are organized and provided as e-learning contents especially in our country which has well-established network infrastructure considering the limited land space. It is expected that the establishment of e-Learning system based on this proposed design will help students and public to access and team biodiversity on cyber space.
