We propose a novel user-perceived performance optimization framework for the Android platform that takes advantage of the user-centric response time analysis. To this end, we propose a new definition of response time, which we call the user-centric response time, as a metric for the quality of user-perceived performance of the smartphone application. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of an on-line user-centric response time analyzer for Android-based smartphones, which provides smartphone application developers with valuable insight for user-perceived performance optimization. We implemented the user-centric response time analyzer on the Android platform, version 4.0.4 (ICS) running on a Galaxy Nexus smartphone. From our experimental results, the proposed user-centric response time analyzer accurately estimates user-centric response times with an accuracy of 92.0% compared to manually measured times with less than 1% performance penalty. In order to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed framework, we were able to reduce the user-centric response time of the target application by up to 16.4% based on the evaluation results by the proposed framework.

Recently, there are great variations on concepts and rolls of information system as the radical growth in information technology. A systematic MIS evaluation is requested for effective management and operation of information system. Although many researches on MIS evaluation have been progressed, the evaluation of the user satisfaction is limited by evaluating from the each system's result because of the diversity of view points and inclusion of MIS introduction. Therefore, in this paper, a conceptual framework is suggested to evaluate MIS synthetically that is changed by the result of existing MIS evaluation. So to speak, a new evaluation framework is suggested by synthesizing various view points and evaluation method that suggested from the existing MIS evaluation such as user satisfaction of results as the introduction of MIS and the satisfaction of variation of entire organization.

As the microelectronics technology is developed, new types d smart intelligent produce are being emerged. OSD user interface is one of the critical factor in this kind of product, especially brown goods and information devices, as it is responsible for input and output function. OSD is being treated as accompaniment to hardware in spite of its importance, and therefore is developed from only simple and separate usability testing based on performance measurement. This study propose a usability evaluation method of OSD based on subjective preference to support existing usability testing. The purpose of this analysis is to make dear what is important factor and how its preference level is from the user's viewpoint. The various attributes of OSD are clarified from user's questionaire and interview, and orthogonal array is generated with specifed factor levels. The prototypes are generated from rapid prototyping tool and tested in natural simulation environment. The preference data which collected in this usability testing is analyzed with conjoint analysis module. This usability evaluation is not the final stage in user interface design process but the early famed and circulated stage.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 컨텐츠 사이트에서 개인별로 컨텐츠를 효과적으로 추천하기 위한 개인화 시스템모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 모델은 묵시적인 평가정보를 이용한 사례기반추론 기법으로서 협동적필터링 기법과 달리 유사집단의 평가정보를 이용하지 않고 개인별 속성에 대한 가중치와 속성 값을 이용하여 추천하는 기법이다. 이 기법은 각 사용자의 상품 추매 속성을 추천에 반영할 수 있는 장점이 있으며 사용자 프로파일을 이용하여 개인화된 추천이 가능하다. 제안한 기법이 Recall, Precision, F-measure의 평가 방법을 통해 실험한 결과 협동적필터링 기법 보다 모든 부분에서 더 좋은 결과가 나왔음을 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 제안 시스템이 유사 사용자의 평가정보를 이용한 협동적필터링 기법보다 효율적인 개인화 전략이 가능하다고 말 수 있다. 본 제안 모델을 이용하여 일대일 마케팅을 위한 eCRM 시스템 개발이 가능하리라 예상된다.

정보통신 기술 발전과 함께 새로운 교육 패러다임에 대한 요구는 e-learning 이라는 학습 시스템을 출현케 하였다. 이는 사용자의 요구 및 학습 내용에 따라 매우 다양한 형태로 설계가능하나 사용자 사용성 평가를 늪이기 위해서는 웹기반 시스템 사용성 평가와 교육시스템 평가 항목을 조정하여 새로운 평가분석 항목의 도출이 요구되어진다. 본 연구에서는 웹 기반 e-learning 시스템분석 모형을 위해 기존의 교육 시스템 분석 항목들을 조정하여 학습자 분석, 기술분석, 학습 수행 분석, 응용 분석 학습자로 분석 등을 요소로 하는 새로운 분석 모형 제시하였다. 또한 이를 적응하여 사용자 사용성 평가를 할 수 있는 관계를 설정하여 활용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이와 같은 방법은 효율적인 e-learning 시스템 분석이 가능하도록 한다. 이때 설정되어지는 관계는 절대적 포함관계 상대적 포함 관계, 단일주제를 가진 상대적 포함관계 등이다.

협력적 여과 방법은 사용자의 평가 데이터를 이용하므로, 항상 초기 평가 문제(First-Rating Problem)와 희박성 문제(Sparsity Problem)가 발생한다. 최근 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있는 데, 본 논문에서는 연관 규칙을 이용하여 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 사용자의 평가 데이터를 이용하여 아이템간의 연관성을 산출하고, 연관성이 높은 아이템끼리 군집한다. 사용자와 군집간에 피어슨 상관 계수(Pearson Correlation Coefficient)를 이용하여 가중치를 구하고, 이것으로 선호도를 예측한다. 이러한 방법을 기존의 협력적 여과 방법과 함께 속성에 의한 군집 방식과 비교 평가하였다. 또한, 효율적인 군집을 위한 Split Cluster Method를 제안하고, 기존의 트리 방식의 군집과 비교 평가하였다.

무선 LAN 보안시스템 보호 프로파일은 취약한 무선 LAN 통신구간에 대한 보안대책을 체계적으로 수립하여 보안기능 및 보안평가기준을 작성한 문서이다. 이 무선 LAN 보안시스템 보호 프로파일은 개발자, 사용자, 평가자 등이 편리하게 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 CC기반의 무선 LAN 보안시스템 보호 프로파일을 통하여 이동 환경용 무선 LAN에 대한 보안대책을 체계적으로 수립할 수 있음을 보이고 이러한 보안대책으로 설계된 무선 LAN 보안시스템을 객관적으로 평가할 있음을 보인다. 본 논문에서 설계한 무선 LAN 보안시스템 보호 프로파일은 EAL 2를 만족시키는 수준이다. 본 연구 결과로 개발된 보호 프로파일은 무선 LAN 보안시스템을 개발하는 개발자, CC에 기반하여 무선 LAN 보안시스템을 평가하는 평가자, 무선 LAN 보안시스템을 사용자 요구사항에 적합하게 사용하는 사용자 등에 유용한 문서로 사용될 수 있다.

The mobile application market has grown over the past decade since the advent of smartphones, making it the largest market for electronic device software. As competition intensifies in the mobile application market, the impact of application evaluations on the consumption and usage patterns of users has also significantly increased. Therefore, research has been conducted on measures to evaluate mobile applications, but most of the research has relied on qualitative methods such as expert-centered interviews or surveys. In addition, evaluation measures are being constructed from the service provider's perspective, not from the service user's perspective. However, the possibility of application-specific analyses that minimize the subjectivity of researchers is growing, as large amounts of user review data enable quantitative analysis of actual users' assessment of applications. Therefore, this study presents a methodology that can complement current problems with existing quality assessments for mobile applications by utilizing user review data. To this end, the Topic Modeling technique LDA (Latent Dirichlet allocation) is applied in order to elucidate ways to improve existing evaluation measures from a user's perspective. The study is expected to reduce bias in service assessment due to the subjectivity of service providers and researchers as well as provide a measure of assessment by area of mobile applications from a consumer perspective.

The goal of this paper is to examine the effects of a CDSS(Clinical Decision Support System) for drug prescription on organizational performance in medical institutions using POC(Point Of Care) systems. For achieving this goal, evaluation factors for influencing performance of information system were identified by using the performance evaluation model for CDSS. In the results, there was significant causality between each evaluation domain except system quality domain. In addition, the system quality of CDSS for optimal drug prescription has no influence on user satisfaction. But information quality has positive influence on user satisfaction which has also a positive influence on organizational performance.

새로운 사용자 경험의 향상을 위해 UI 의 개선방안을 모색할 때, 기존에 수행해 오던 일반적 사용성 평가 방법만으로는 모바일과 같이 복합적 컨텍스트를 가진 서비스 이용환경을 파악하는데 적지 않은 한계가 있다. 가령 특정 Task 수행시 Lead Time 측정과 같은 계량화된 사용성 평가방법을 통해서는 실제 사용자의 컨텍스트를 고려한 사용성의 수준(혹은 오류의 수준)에 대한 분석이 어려운 반면, In-depth Interview 로 대표되는 통상의 정성적인 사용자 리서치 방법은 장애의 요인과 결과간의 논리적인 상관관계를 명확화하거나 실측적인 개선 성과로써 도출해 내는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 정량적인 사용성 평가방법에 정성적인 사용자 리서치 수행기법 및 통계적 기법을 결합하여, 실측 가능하고 설득력을 가진 근거 데이터를 지지하는 한편 한계로 남겨져 왔던 행위결과에 대한 요인에도 적절한 인사이트를 제시할 수 있는 대안적 사용성 평가 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
