웹 프로토콜인 HTTP는 효율적으로 동작하기 위하여 이전 상태 정보를 저장하지 못하는 Stateless 특성을 가지고 있으므로, 이러한 문제를 해결하여 상태 유지 및 사용자 편의성을 제공하기 위해 만들어진 것이 쿠키(cookie)이다. 그러나 쿠키는 평문 형태로 전송되고 사용자 컴퓨터에 일반 텍스트 형태로 저장되므로 쉽게 노출되어 쿠키 파일의 복사, 수정이 가능하여 안전성에 심각한 위험이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 쿠키의 보안 문제를 해결하기 위해 안전한 쿠키 설계 및 구현 방안을 제시하였다.

As a solution for environmental problems caused by increasing number of vehicles, it is encouraged to use a bicycle as an environment-friendly transportation method. To vitalize the bicycle usage, it is a necessary to construct bicycle roads that are safe and suitable for users. Based on the previous research results, we assume the main purposes of bicycle usages are mainly local leisure activity and school commuting. Thus, the proposed method finds the shortest link between the existing bicycle road network and bicycle usage facilities such as leisure activity places or schools over public road network. Then, we carry out the RTK DGPS survey for the candidate links, and analyze the slopes of them. When the slope of a found link is larger than a threshold, an alternative link is re-found for the safety and convenience of a bicycle user. The proposed method is applied to the real bicycle road network in Mokpo, Chunnam and the results are discussed.

In the home gateway environment, several characteristics for the user authentication mechanism should be reflected separately from the existing distributed service environment. First, the platform of a home gateway is a component based system that its services are installed dynamically. Second, the convenience that user can use several services by authentication of once should be offered. Finally, the system resources of a home gateway are restricted. However, a user authentication mechanism that reflected these characteristics is not shown at the user admin service specification of the OSGi service platform.(OSGi is the representative standardization organization of hone gateway.) Also, there is no existing authentication protocol that satisfies these qualities at the same time. In this paper, we propose a new user authentication mechanism considering those characteristics for the home gateway environment. We also design and implement an independent authentication service bundle based on the OSGi service platform so that it can perform user authentication operations for each bundle service. We supplement and extend the Kerberos Protocol that can apply.

Due to the recent development of 3D printers, interest in 3D printing is growing. 3D printing should reflect individual needs and various requirements by designing products to suit the user's requirements. Research on how to use 3D printed products for the purpose of purchasing products according to user's demand characteristics is insufficient. Therefore, this study conducted a survey and statistical analysis to find out the factors influencing the intention of purchasing custom controller products in 3D printing environments. Research has confirmed that user innovation and convenience safety are important factors for the satisfaction and purchase intent of personal-tailored controller products. Considering user innovation, convenience, and safety when producing controller products using 3D printing, it is expected that value of custom controller manufacturing can be increased. Research is needed on the personalized product development framework that successfully introduces and systematically supports the production methods of personalized products in the early stages.

사용자들이 인터넷상의 웹사이트로부터 정보를 얻고자 할 때, 대부분의 웹사이트는 사용자들의 신분을 확인하고, 권한이 있는 사용자들에게만 정보를 제공한다 이 때, 사용자들은 접속할려고 하는 웹사이트에 권한이 있음을 확인하는 계정을 만든다. 사용자들이 계정을 만들 때. 웹사이트마다 별개의 계정을 만드는 것이 공격자의 위협으로부터 안전하지만, 현실적으로 사용자의 기억의 한계, 사용자의 편의 추구 등으로 인해. 사용자들은 단일 계정으로 여러 웹사이트에 사용할려는 경향이 있다. 따라서, 어느 공격자가 단일사용자의 특정 웹사이트에 대한 ID와 패스워드를 알게되면. 그 공격자는 다른 웹사이트에 동일한 ID와 패스워드를 사용한 로그인 시도 공격시, 성공할 확률이 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 사용자 ID와 패스워드에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 사용자는 로그인하려는 웹사이트에 상관없이 항상 동일한 ID와 패스워드를 사용하지만, 실질적으로는 사용자 머신 내에 있는 내부 프록시(proxy)에 의해서 웹사이트마다 독립적이고 유일한 가명 ID와 가명 패스워드를 안전하게 생성하는 방안을 제안한다.

지속적으로 증가하고 있는 웹사이트는 사용자마다 유일한 신분확인정보(ID, 패스워드)를 요구 한다. 이 때 사용자는 웹사이트마다 별개의 계정을 만드는 것이 공격자의 위협으로부터 안전하지만, 현실적으로 사용자의 기억의 한계, 편의 추구로 인해 한 사용자가 사용하는 계정의 가짓수는 한정되기 마련이다. 따라서, 어느 공격자가 단일 사용자의 특정 웹사이트에 대한 ID와 패스워드를 알게되면, 기공격자는 다른 웹사이트에 동일한 ID와 패스워드를 사용한 로그인 시도 공격이 성공할 확률이 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 사용자 ID와 패스워드에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 사용자는 로그인하려는 웹사이트에 상관없이 항상 동일한 ID와 패스워드를 사용하지만, 실질적으로는 사용자 머신내에 있는 내부 프록시(proxy)에 의해서 웹사이트마다 독립적이고 유일한 가명ID와 가명 패스워드를 생성하는 방안을 제안한다. 또한 제안 방안에서는 임계 암호 기법을 이용하여 단일 사용자 ID와 패스워드로부터 가명 ID와 가명 패스워드를 생성하는 함수를 안전하게 구성한다.

최근 인터넷관련 기술은 사용의 편의성이 강조되고 있다. 이에 많은 연구자들은 언제 어디서나 사용자만의 컴퓨터환경을 제공하는 가상 OS(WebOS: Web Operating System)를 개발하였다[1,2,3]. 그러나 가상 OS를 구현할 때 기존 시스템(Unix, Linux, Windows등)의 File System을 사용하면 시스템의 정보를 사용자가 예측할 수 있기 때문에 시스템 안전성 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 시스템의 File System을 이용하지 않고 가상의 File System을 사용함으로써 기존 시스템보다 안전하며 향후 가상 OS에서 개발되어질 프로그램들에 사용할 수 있는 DB구조의 File System을 설계 및 구현한다.

날씨가 점차 추워지면서 다양한 전기매트 상품들이 인기를 끌고 있다. 요즘 어느 집에서나 흔히 볼 수 있는 난방기구 중 하나가 전기매트이다. 전체 난방을 하지 않아도 따뜻한 온기를 느낄 수 있는 경제성과 편의성 때문에 보조난방기구로 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 전기매트의 불편, 불만도 사용자의 증가에 비례해서 늘어나고 있다. 대표적인 예가 제품불량, 과열과 같은 문제들이다. 전기매트는 편리한 제품이지만 안전한 사용을 위해서는 제품의 올바른 사용법과 관리 방법이 필요하다. 특히 전기매트는 인체와 밀착하여 사용하는 전열기기이기 때문에 안전에 각별히 주의해야 한다. 전기매트를 사용하는 올바른 방법을 알아보고 지켜 안전한 겨울을 보내보자.

컴퓨터와 네트워크의 보급이 일반화되면서 인터넷을 통한 정보 전달이 일상 생활처럼 되고 있다. 기존에는 정보를 전달하기 위한 방법이 주로 전자메일에 한정되오 있던 것에 반해, 요즘은 좀 더 즉각적으로 메시지를 전달해주는 인스턴트메신저를 많이 사용하고 있다. 인스턴트 메신저는 이러한 장점으로 인해 국내에서도 사용자가 급속하게 늘고 있다. 현재 사용되고 있는 대부분의 인스턴트 메신저는 전송되는 정보가 아무런 보호장치 없이 네트워크를 통해 전송되어 제 3자에 의한 도청이 가능하게 된다. 따라서 전송되는 정보의 암호화를 포함하는 안전한 인스턴트 메신저 서비스의 필요성이 대두되고있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 안전한 인스턴트 메신저는 사용자 개인이 메신저 서버에게 전송하는 개인정보를 암호화하고, 사용자간에 전송되는 정보를 선택적으로 암호화하여 잠재적인 보안문제를 해결하였다. 그리고 시스템 설계는 일반 사용자도 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 사용자 편의성에 중점을 두었다.
