Recognition of the Type and Cause of Trolling (<리그 오브 레전드> 트롤링의 유형과 발생 원인에 대한 인식 -사용자 심층인터뷰를 중심으로-)

  • This study aimed at identifying user recognition of the types and causes of online game trolling through in-depth interview with users of . Online game trolling refers to anti-social behaviors to do acts provoking other users to anger intentionally so induce their actual reaction in online games. Types of online game trolling contained flaming, griefing, unskilled player and lack of understanding on user's rule. And users are recognizing as problems that anonymity is excessively high in the game, a single game has undue significance, team play is given too much emphasis in a situation lacking in social cohesivenessk as the structural causes of trolling in . Accordingly, in order to decrease online game trolling, it is urgent to improve the game-structured layer causing trolling rather than regulate trollers only.

Study on Usability Evaluation for Wearable Computer : Evaluation Scale for User-Centered Smart Jacket Design (웨어러블 컴퓨터에 대한 사용성 평가 연구 - 사용자 중심의 스마트 자켓 디자인을 위한 평가척도)

  • To develop the scale of usability evaluation on smart jacket for everyday life, we selected four types of smart jackets based on the result of previous study and evaluated their usability. Considering both the embedded machine and the purpose, smart jackets can be classified four types. As the result of previous study, sixty items for evaluation of user experience were constructed. In this study, we extracted ten categorization factors from the results of usability evaluation of smart jackets. Also, the relative importance of usability factors varied according to the types of smart jackets. These results suggest that not only usability factors themselves but also the order of priority of usability evaluation can vary according to the type of smart jacket in design process.

The Effects of Chatbot's Error Types and Structures of Error Message on User Experience (챗봇의 오류 유형과 오류 메시지 구조화 여부가 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is verifying the effects of chatbot's error types and structures of error message on attitude, behavior intention towards the chatbot and perceived usability of the chatbot. The error types of chatbot are divided into 'experience' error and 'agency' error, which set different expectancy level, according to mind perception theory. The structures of error message were either unstructured condition composed of error specification only or structured condition composed of apology, explanation and willingness of improvement. It was found that score of perceived usability was higher in experience error condition than agency error condition. Also, all three scores of dependent variables were higher in structured error message condition than unstructured error message condition. Furthermore, expectation gap of experience didn't predict the dependent variables but expectation gap of agency predicted all three dependent variables. Finally, the tendency of interaction effect between the error type and the structure of the error message on expectation gap of agency was observed. This study confirmed the mitigating effect of structured error messages and the possibility that these effects may vary by the type of error. The result is expected to be applicable to design of error coping strategies that enhance user experience.

A Study of User-Oriented Storytelling Based on Enneagram (에니어그램을 활용한 사용자 중심 스토리텔링에 관한 연구)

  • The narratives of the digital age have attempted interactions, and the interactive storytelling represented by the Branch Narratives has a problem of the expensive production cost of many optional implementations and poor narrative compared to linear story. As an alternative to this, this study proposes a user-oriented storytelling using user's personality traits. Using the Enneagram, a model of human psyche, and the Actantial model of the semiotician Greimas, when stories and characters are the same, the story could be reconstructed by deriving different topics from the same story according to the user's Enneagram personality type. The theme is determined by defining the axis of the desire of the Actantial model by respectively setting the character with the user's Enneagram type as the subject and the core value in the type as the object. The axis of Power could be defined by the stress and security points in Enneagram. In this way, we can derive the themes of 9 Enneagram types and the corresponding Actantial model and make plots. The users will appreciate one of these reconstructed plots in different perspectives and themes, depending on their personality type. In this study, we applied the above methodology to the story of the pansori novel "Tokkijeon". User-centered storytelling is a new attempt to predict user's choice and reconstruct the story based on the user's personality and perspective.

  • The goal of this study is finding flow-map in conversation what is going on user and embodied conversational agent by analysing that conversation. Specifically, this study not only find elements of conversation, but also draw out patterns of conversation can be exist for dialogue ability between user and Embodied conversational agent. To do this, we collect data through in-depth one to one interview, and then we analysis collected data to try to find out element of user-agent conversation based on qualitative research refer to the theory of conversation analytics and type of conversation. As a result, six flow map is deducted Especially, the irregular conversation is hard to find in human-human conversation, and the frequency is the most in data. In addition, when elements of interruption came out, be hostile to partner or correct the press conversation. This study can have positive effect to embodied conversation agent developer, user and service offerer because this study find the type of conversation through analysis that between embodied conversational agent and user.

사용자 인터페이스 디자인을 위한 Video Protocol 분석 도구 개발에 관한 연구

  • 디자이너에게 필요한 정보가 제품의 성격이 변함에 따라 변하면서 정보 수집의 흐름도 달라져가고 있다. 지금까 지의 디자인 정보 수집이 단순 설문조사에서 사용자의 사용상황을 관찰하는 보다 실질적인조사 혹은 컨텍스트 디 자인(Context Design: 사용환경을 고려한 디자인)으로 바뀌어 가고 있다. 그러나 기존의 조사분석방법들이 특정한 면(인지적 혹은 행위적)에 편중된 자료 수집에 초점이 맞추어져 있어서 다양한 정보의 수집과 이러한 정보의 통합 적 관리가 어려운 문제점을 가지고 있다. 정보의 수집과 통합적 관리의 어려움이 발생하게 되는 원인을 좀더 구체 적으로 살펴보면 첫째, 수잡되는 데이터의 문제이다. 데이터의 성격을 사용자인 개인의 조작행위에 중점을 두거나 또는 작업상황이나 사용자의 성격/선호도와 같은 부분에 중점을 두기 때문에 서로 상호작용하여 사용자 인터페이스에 큰 영향을 미치는 이 두 유형의 데이터에 관한 분석을 어렵게 하는 원인이 되고 있다. 둘째, 적당한 데이터 수집도구 (data logger)의 미비를 들 수 있다. 이것은 기존의 Data logger들은 정보를 문자나 숫자 또는 특수문자로서 정보를 추출하게 됨으로써 데이터를 뽑는 당시부터 정보가 추출자로인하여 1차적으로 가공이 된다는 점이다. 이것은 보다 실질적이고 분석단계에서 보다 면밀한 분석이 이루어 질 수 있는 중요한 데이터가 유출될 수도 있다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 마지막으로 위에서 언급했던 두 유형의 데이터를 동시에 분석할 수 있는 방법의 부재와 실질적인 데이터를 분석하여 이를 디자인에 활용할 수 있는 정보로 가공할 수 있는 도구가 마련되어 있지 않다는 점이다. 디자인 작업은 종합적인 시각화 과정임에 비해 분석된 결과가 비시각적이며 위에서 언급했듯이 분절된 정보가 되기 쉽기 때문에 이를 디자인에 곧바로 적용시키기 어려운 점이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 바용성 평가를 위한 분석도구들이 갖는 문제 점들 해결하여 제품의 사용자 인터페이스 디자인 개발과정에서 활용할 수 있는 평가 분석도구를 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 다양한 유형의 정보를 포함하는 비디오 정보를 선정하였따. 둘째, 데이터를 다양한 측면에서 추출할 수 있는 Data logger를 개발하였다. 셋째, 데이터를 시각적으로 정리하고 분석할 수 있는 도구를 제안한다. 마지막으로 인터페이스 디자인에서 여러 가지 디자인안을 도출해 내는 작업에 이용할 수 있는 종합화과정을 개발한다. 이러한 일련의 과정이 통합된 컴퓨터 시스템 안에서 이루어지도록 프로그램을 개발하여 정보의 유용성을 높일 수 있도록 한다.

An Inference System Using BIG5 Personality Traits for Filtering Preferred Resource

  • In the IoT environment, various objects mutually interactive, and various services can be composed based on this environment. In the previous study, we have developed a resource collaboration system to provide services by substituting limited resources in the user's personal device using resource collaboration. However, in the preceding system, when the number of resources and situations increases, the inference time increases exponentially. To solve this problem, this study proposes a method of classifying users and resources by applying the BIG5 user type classification model. In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the inference time by filtering the user's preferred resources through BIG5 type-based preprocessing and using the filtered resources as an input to the recommendation system. We implement the proposed method as a prototype system and show the validation of our approach through performance and user satisfaction evaluation.

UX Writing Style in Fintech Services Effect on User's Satisfaction with Using Formality in Korean and Financial Jargon (핀테크 서비스의 UX 라이팅 유형이 사용자 만족감에 미치는 영향: 격식체와 전문용어 사용 여부를 중심으로)

  • With the rise of fintech services, the importance of UX Writing in digital channel is growing. However, there is a lack of research on how different types of UX Writing in fintech services specifically affect user's satisfaction. In order to determine the impact of UX Writing style in fintech services on user's satisfaction, this study used a 2x2 mixed design with using formality in Korean and financial jargon as independent variables to measure trust, conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness. The results showed that higher levels of conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness when not using jargon than using jargon. Using formality in Korean did not show a main effect for any of the dependent variables, but it was occurred that higher levels of conciseness, psychological stability, and completeness with using formality in Korean but not using jargon. The significance of this study is that it empirically verified how using formality and financial jargon in UX Writing of fintech services affects user satisfaction.

  • ASP service that is emerging as a new form of application outsourcing has the advantage of lower cost and risk. Therefore, ASP service may be attractive for small firms and even some new companies. However, studies about ASP service are rare in academic and professional journals, and most of the articles about outsourcing were considering mainly large enterprises. The purpose of this article is to analyze the effects of the some context variables of Korean small businesses on ASP service usage pattern, and the effect of ASP service usage pattern on user satisfaction and firm performance. The analysis results show that firm size has a positive impact on IT need of small businesses, and IT need of small businesses have a positive impact on training period and past usage period. Also, firm size, IT need, training period has an positive impact on ASP service usage pattern. However, ASP service usage period has no relationship on ASP service usage pattern. Finally, ASP service usage pattern has a positive impact on firm performance and user satisfaction, and user satisfaction has an impact on firm performance.

  • 한국어 자동색인은 정보자료의 유형 및 특성에 따라 그 성능에 차이가 있으며, 검색 결과에 많은 영향을 미치기도 한다. 따라서 지능형 정보검색을 위해서는 정보자료의 유형과 특성에 따라 색인 기법의 전문화 및 다양성이 요구되고 있다. 정보검색 시스템이 사용자의 요구사항에 적합한 정보자료를 제공할 수 있도록 자동색인의 관점에서 검색 성능을 향상시키기 방법으로 문서 유형에 따른 차별화된 색인 기법, 불용어 처리 기법, 색인어 관리 기법, 색인어의 유형 정보와 위치 정보를 활용하는 방법 등을 제안한다.
