본 논문은 Mach 마이크로 커널 운영체제에서 네트웍 프로토콜과 운영체제의 오버헤드를 줄이는 사용자 수준의 프로토콜의 구현을 제시한다. 기존 사용자 수준의 프로토콜의 구현들은 그 성능에 있어서 커널 내 프로토콜의 그것에 비해 낮은 성능을 보여왔다. 이에 비해 본 논문에서는 더욱 더 높은 성능향상을 보이는 사용자 수준의 프로토콜 구조의 설계와 구현을 제시한다. 또한 Mach 의 공유 메커니즘을 쓴 사용자 프로토콜과 BSD UNIX 서버와의 공유 메모리를 사용하여 디스크에 저장된 파일을 네트웍 패킷으로 보낼 경우의 전송 능력을 향상시켰다. 이는 HTTP와 FTP 같이 최근 그 사용이 증대되고 있는 응용의 성능을 향상시킨다.

Based on the Construal Level Theory, this study aims to investigate how information security vaccine users' selection intentions differ from each other according to the selection time of information security vaccine, advertisement message types, and information security knowledge levels. For the foregoing, this study conducted an experiment by applying an experimental design of 2(knowledge level: high/low) ${\times}2$(temporal distances: short distance/long distance) ${\times}2$(advertisement message types: how(concrete)/why(abstract)) on computer security vaccine softwares. As a result, this study confirmed that the selection intentions about information security vaccines differed from each other according to the temporal distance and advertisement message type, and also varied according to the information security knowledge level. In conclusion, this study provides an implication that the consideration of well-timed persuasive message is especially important for the users at the high level of knowledge. Also, this research implies the necessity of development of abstract thinking ability based on temporal distance for the users at the low level of knowledge.

With the rapid increase in the number of Web documents, the problem of information overload is growing more serious in Internet search. In order to ease the problem, researchers are paying attention to personalization, which creates Web environment fittingly for users' preference, but most of search engines produce results focused on users' queries. Thus, the present study examined the method of producing search results personalized based on a user's understanding level. A characteristic that differentiates this study from previous researches is that it considers users' understanding level and searches documents of difficulty fit for the level first. The difficulty level of a document is adjusted based on the understanding level of users who access the document, and a user's understanding level is updated periodically based on the difficulty of documents accessed by the user. A Web search system based on the results of this study is expected to bring very useful results to Web users of various age groups.

광범위한 스마트폰의 보급으로 인해 관련 APP 시장 또한 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 많은 APP이 개발되고 있지만 대부분 특정 분야에 집중되어 있으며 교육용 APP이 시장에서 차지하고 있는 비율은 극히 낮다. 시장 비율이 낮은 이유는 기존 출시된 대다수의 교육용 APP이 가지는 두 문제점 때문이다. 첫 번째는 동일 콘텐츠의 반복학습으로 인해 재사용 빈도가 많이 낮고 자기주도학습 능력을 이끌어 낼 수 없다는 점이며 두 번째는 문제 제공 및 정답 확인의 단순 구조로 되어 있어 사용자가 자신의 수준 및 취약 부분을 분석하기 힘들다는 점이다. 본 논문은 스마트폰 환경에서 앞서 언급한 두 가지 문제점을 해결하기 위해 시스템 구조 변경 없이 콘텐츠 변경이 가능하며 사용자의 수준을 파악할 수 있는 기능을 가진 사용자 맞춤 교육을 위한 교육용 앱 설계에 대하여 제안한다.

기존의 동적 문제 시스템은 사용자의 학습 수준을 획일적으로 평하여 사용자의 학습 수준 상태를 정확하게 분석하지 못하였고, 이에 다라 사용자에게 올바른 학습상태를 전달하여 주지 못하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 획일적인 평가에서 탈피하여 사용자의 학습 수준을 효율적으로 평가하여 문제를 출제하고 채점하는 시스템을 제안한다.

검사점 및 복구 도구는 응용 프로그램의 상태를 주기적으로 안정된 저장소에 저장을 하고, 결함이 발생하였을 경우 가장 최근의 검사점으로부터 효율적으로 복구하게 하는 도구이다. 특히 검사점 및 복구 도구는 장시간 수행되는 프로세서에게는 아주 중요한 의미를 지니며, 결함으로 인해 장시간 수행되는 프로세스에 의해 생성된 중간 결과를 잃어버리지 않게 한다. 본 논문에서는 UnixWare 커널 수준의 검사점 및 복구 도구인 Kckpt의 설계 및 구현 내용을 제시하고, Kckpt의 성능을 사용자 수준에서 구현한 검사점 라이브러리와 비교한 결과를 제시한다. Kckpt를 사용함으로 해서 UnixWare는 소스 코드 수준에서 사용자가 초기화한 장소에서 검사점을 만들 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 실행 가능한 파일만을 가진 사용자에게도 완전한 투명성을 제공할 수 있다. 또한 Kckpt를 사용자 라이브러리 수준에서 구현한 검사점 도구와 성능을 비교한 결과 오버헤드가 훨씬 줄어들었음을 관찰할 수 있었다.

제한된 화면을 갖는 메뉴는 사용자에게 한번에 보여줄 수 있는 정보의 양이 제한되기 때문에 사용자와 전자제품간 상호작용의 곤란함을 드러내고 있다. 본 연구는 선택 가능한 항목 표시방식(3수준), 메뉴이동방식(2수준), 연령(2수준)의 3가지 실험변수를 사용하여 제한된 공간을 갖는 소형시각표시장치의 사용성 향상에 관하여 연구하였다. 실험을 수행하여 제한된 메뉴표현공간에서 사용되는 계층적 메뉴를 설계할 때, 사용자에게 보다 친밀하고 사용성이 좋은 메뉴표현방식에 대한 가이드라인을 제안함과 동시에 제한된 공간상의 메뉴표현방식에 대한 기초연구자료를 제시하였다.

LOS(Level of Service), the qualitative measure describing operational condition of highway, must be evaluated as quantative index in terms of user service. So, This study is focused on developing the user cost function that user cost is measured in the variation of V/C, MOE(Measure of Effectiveness) of LOS in basic Section of highway. The user cost is calculated as the sum of accident cost, operation cost, travel time cost. The data is collected in the four basic section of Singal-Ansan and Jung bu Highway. As the result of user cost function analysis, the user cost is the lowest When V/C is 0.54. Considering the V/C ratio(0.7) of Basic Section in rural highway suggested in KHCM, We find out that the LOS suggested KHCM increase the user cost of highway.

본 논문은 실시간 운영체계인 ARX 의 독특한 메커니즘을 바탕으로 한 POSIX 의 thread library( Pthread library)의 구현에 대하여 다룬다. ARX Pthread library는 POSIX 1003.lc의 규약을 따르며 실시간 프로그램밍의 특성에 맞도록 이를 확장한 주기적인 thread, deadine handler등의 확장된 인터페이스를 제공한다. 이와 더불어 정확한 실시간 특성을 제공하기 위하여 사용자 수준 타이머의 관리도 제공하고 있다. 한편 ARX 의 핵심인 가살쓰레드와 개선된 스케줄링 이벤트 업콜 방식을 바탕으로 사용자 수준 쓰레드와 사용자 수준 스케줄러의 동기화를 제공하는 사용자 수준 동기화 도구를 구현하였다. 이러한 Pthread library를 사용한 응용프로그램의 timing anlysis의 결과는 ARX 의 뛰어난 실시간 처리 능력과 함께 다양한 실시간 응용 프로그램의 요구를 수용할 수 있음을 보여준다.

본 논문은 사회네트워크(social network system, SNS)에 대한 사용자의 추가적 사용의도를 개인정보보호의 관점에서 고찰하였다. SNS에서 사용자는 SNS의 운영 시스템과 사용자간 정보의 교류가 이루어지는 SNS사이트라는 서로 다른 두 주체와의 상호작용을 통하여 개인정보의 보호 정도를 인지하게 되고, 이러한 인지정도는 사회네트워크시스템과 SNS사이트에 대한 신뢰에 각각 영향을 미치고, 이 신뢰는 사용자의 사용의도를 증가시킨다는 연구모델을 설정하고 가설을 검정하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 SNS 시스템과 SNS 사이트에 대해 사용자가 인지하는 개인정보보호의 수준은 SNS시스템과 SNS사이트에 대한 신뢰 수준에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면, 사용자의 추가적 사용의도는 단지 SNS 시스템의 신뢰에 의해서만 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.
