The flexible display, which was born as a means of human-machine communication required in a highly information-oriented society, It is creating a new market by linking with Internet of things. ecause the interface of a flexible display can provide a physical form as a result of input or output, user-centered interface design is paramount. Therefore, the researchers of this paper have studied the physical deformation and characteristics of flexible display by user manipulation through literature and case studies. Therefore, the authors of this paper studied the physical deformations and characteristics of flexible displays by user manipulation through literature and case studies. This research suggests the following guidelines for a flexible display interface design for the user experience. First, it must be designed to provide the functionality that users need in a variety of display environments. Second, in using the interface, external factors should be removed from the viewing angle of multi-users. Third, all possible user actions should be considered on flexible displays other than touch and contact. Fourth, flexible design of flexible display requires changing interface design for user experience.

  • Audio-based SNS also needs a visual guide to reach the contents desired by the users. Therefore, this study investigates visual interface design elements that influence the experience of using audio contents in audio-based SNS. Prior researches have identified that the generally acknowledged interface design elements are important for the usability of audio contents. Through the analysis of the currently launched audio-based SNS, the influence of general interface elements were again confirmed, and via the analysis of other audio content services, a new interface evaluation element was explored. Accordingly, with five general interface evaluation elements-layout, color, icon, typography, graphic image, multimedia elements are newly defined and proposed as crucial factors in evaluating the UI of audio-based SNS.

  • The 21st century could be called the age of Experience Economy associated with the importance to external and internal experience of product users. It needs the understanding of customer's needs in new point of view. In the area of design development, it requires the extensive application of experience from traditional method that was based on the style and usability to more advanced concept. To correspond to these changes, we need to explore new customer's value system for knowledge-information design and systematic approaches to experience system. The purpose of this research is to define the concept of 'experience' newly in the importance side of customer's life, form a clear definition of experience design and present the model of application system. Theoretical frameworks of this research are based on the Empiricism and John Dewey's theory. By applying these frameworks make dear the concept of experience concept and reanalysis the meaning and style in the perspective of design. In this process, we can extract the main factors that inducing the experience, create new application system and model again to the field of design. Application model can creates various experiences through supplying different experience style and factors for customer, make customer realize experience object. Experience designs offer optimal experience to users by making a plan and design experience to user's goal.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a "user experience (UX)-centered product development process" so that the product design development process using the service design process can be systematized and used in practice. In a situation in which usability research on office phones is lacking compared to general home phones, this study expands to a product-based service design point of view rather than simple product development, intending to research ways to provide user experience value through office phone design in smart office. This study focused on extracting UX-centered user needs using the service design process and developing product design that realizes user experience value. In particular, the service design process was applied to systematically extract user needs and experience value elements in the product development process and to discover ideas that were converged with product-based services. For this purpose, the "Double Diamond Design Process Model," which is widely used in the service design field, was adopted. In addition, a product design development process was established so that usability improvement plans, user experience value elements, and product-service connected ideas could be extracted through a work-flow in which real users and people from various fields participate. Based on the double diamond design process, in the "Discover" information collection stage, design trends were identified mainly in the office phone markets. In the "Define" analysis and extraction stage, user needs were analyzed through user observation, interview, and usability survey, and design requirements and user experience issues were extracted. Persona was set through user type analysis, and user scenarios were presented. In the "Develop" development stage, ideation workshops and concept renderings were conducted to embody the design, and people from various fields within the company participated to set the design direction reflecting design preference and usability improvement plans. In the "Deliver" improvement/prototype development/evaluation stage, a working mock-up of a design prototype was produced and design and usability evaluation were conducted through consultation with external design experts. It is meaningful that it established a "UX-centered product development process" model that converged with the existing product design development process and service design process. Ultimately, service design-based product design development process was presented so that I Corp.'s products could realize user experience value through service convergence.

  • Cloud computing technology is expanding its services to individual consumers through storage and applications. This study aims to compare the predisposing factors that affect the perceived value and the intention to use between users who have used or experienced services and those who have never experienced services from the perspective of benefit and sacrifice based on the value-based acceptance model. The results showed that the sacrifice factor (perceived cost) had a significant effect on perceived value and perceived value had a significant effect on intention to use, but showed a difference in perceived benefit. Perceived usefulness, ubiquity, and network effects had significant impact for experienced users' perceived value, but for inexperienced users, ubiquity did not have significant impact. In addition, usefulness was the most significant factor for experienced users while network effect was the same for inexperienced users. The results of this study suggest that consumers' intention to use personal cloud service is evaluated as a benefit and sacrifice point and a new attempt to re-examine the role of previous experience.

  • Visual tactility implies feelings of touch through sight. To be exact, the eyes are doing the touch rather than the body and the subject concerned will experience the sensation of touch by looking at an object similar to that of physical touch. This is quasi tactility to put it simply and it can be defined as to touch with the eyes. This can not only provide opportunities to experience something close to reality but also another completely different form of modern experience. Experiencing visual tactility through the use of the web permits lavish communication between the user and the designer. This paper has reorganize the concept of visual tactility, characteristic and way to use in digital contents. Visual tactility stimulates the users' emotion as such. If it was to be utilized to develop edutainment contents or web sites will foster children's capability to develope problem solving skills and raise efficiency in creative learning, and prolong the period of concentration in order to encourage revisits to the place and extend the time of stay.
