One of the biggest recent issues in the communication market is the explosive distribution of smartphones. One of the reasons why a smartphone could have seen this rapid distribution in terms of the service management is because it enables the access to the Internet without getting restricted by place and time through customization by a user, unlike a feature phone which only has the existing functions mounted on that were already chosen by a suppler. The other reason is because of its applications. This study aimed to make an empirical investigation of the impact of each of the different convenience types of mobile applications on the usage and the use diversity, consider the process of use diffusion, and find out whether there is a difference in the effect of each convenience type on the use-diffusion. According to the findings of this study, it was firstly shown that the effect of each convenience type on the use-diffusion is different, and secondly, it appeared that the more various functions of the mobile applications are used, the more usage increases.

최근에 출시된 UV CTP의 경우 일반 PS판을 사용하는 경우가 대부분이다. 하지만 몇 년 전만 해도 전용 PS판을 사용해야 했기 때문에 대부분의 인쇄사가 CTP 도입을 꺼리는 이유가 됐다. 이러한 상황에서 가장 먼저 일반PS판을 사용하는 CTP를 공급해오고 있는 회사가 있다. 바로 (주)에스앤아이시스템즈에서 공급하는 바시스피린트사의 UV CTP가 바로 그것이다. 바시스피니트사의 UV Setter가 우리나라 CTP시장을 바꾸어 놓았다 해도 과언이 아니다. 에스앤아이시스템즈를 방문해 바시스프린트사의 UV CTP와 함께 CTP시장 전망에 대해 들어본다.

이 논문에서는 ITU-T E.164 및 AESA ICD/DCC 주소체계 및 형태를 비교분석하고, 공중 ATM 망에서 ITU-T E.164 주소체계외에 AESA ICD, DCC 주소체계를 수용할 경우 E.164 및 AESA ICD/DCC 주소형태(format), AESA ICD/DCC 주소체계를 사용한 망 계획 및 ATM 망에서 이러한 주소체계를 수용하여야 하는 이유를 분석하였다. 그리고 공중망 및 사설망을 포함한 전체 ATM 망에서 AESA ICD/DCC 주소체계를 사용할 경우 AESA ICD/DCC 주소형태(format)에 포함되어야 하는 서브 계위(hierarchy)와 이들을 사용한 망 계획 방안을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 내용은 AESA ICD 주소체계를 수용할 경우에도 유사하게 적용되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

LAN에서 사용되던 이더넷 기술은 단순성과 낮은 투자/운용 비용으로 인하여 WAN/MAN 영역으로까지 사용이 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 캐리어급 이더넷 OAM 기술은LAN 중심의 이더넷 기술을 캐리어급 망에서 사용할 수 있게 해주는 주요 기술로IEEE, ITU-T, MEF 등 표준화 기구에서 이에 대한 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 크게 PHY 계층과 MAC 계층의 두 부분으로 구성된 이더넷에서 단일 링크 상에서 발생하는 동작들을 처리하는 ETY 계층 OAM 기술과 다중 링크로 연결된 이더넷 경로상에서 발생하는 동작들을 처리하는 ETH 계층 OAM에 대한 기술을 분석하여 정리한다.

RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)는 재고의 위치를 쉽게 파악할 수 있고, 적재하는 위치나 장소가 바뀌는 경우에 재고의 현황을 알 수 있다. 많은 정보를 태그에 보관할 수 있어 제품관리가 용이하다. 제품의 이력상태를 바로 알 수 있으며, 열이나 물 등의 이유로 인하여 바코드를 사용할 수 없는 곳이나 공정에서도 사용할 수 있다. RFID는 바코드 시스템의 장점을 포함하고 있고 제품개체에 대한 실시간 파악이 가능하다. 이러한 장점으로 인하여 RFID는 유통 및 생산시스템 사용이 크게 확대될 것이다. RFID를 이용하면 Just In Time 생산을 보다 효율적으로 운영할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 RFID를 이용하여 간판생산방식의 도입에 적용하는 데 있다.

주철은 구조물 및 공업재료로써 오랫동안 사용되어 왔으나 이들 용접은 항상 어렵고 특별한 지 식과 기술을 계속 요구하고 있다. 최근 가격면에서 유리한 주철을 주강 및 단조품과 대체하여 사용이 증가하는 추세이다. 이는 주조공정의 고유한 유연성과 함께 합금설계, 주조기술 및 열처 리 분야에서 개선이 이루어지면서 가능해졌다. 이런 개발과 병행하여 주철을 용접할 필요성이 증가되었다. 옛날에는 용접의 어려움 때문에 주철용접은 제조중 생긴 주물결함 보수나 사용도중 생긴 균열에 대한 보수용접으로 국한되었다. 그러나 수년동안의 용접기술 개발과 금속학적인 영향에 대한 지식이 증대됨에 따라 주철끼리 또는 강과의 접합까지 용접의 범위가 넓어졌다. 본고에서는 주철용접을 이해하는데 필수적인 금속학적인 영향들에 대해 주철 종류별로 설명하고 이들을 용접하는데 있어 성공과 실패에 대한 이유등을 실례를 들어 기술하고자 한다.

Successful weaning is very important to provide adequate nutrients for normal growth and to induce a good diet habit. We conducted a survey on the knowledge and attitudes of women who live in Taegu toward weaning in infants, to figure out how much they know about weaning diet for the infants, which source they prefer to get the information about weaning diet, whether their knowledge affect their practice about weaning in infants, and the most effective way to educate them. A survey was conducted with the prepared questionnaire on women who responded at the residential area and market place, and those who visited Department of Pediatrics, Yeungnam University Hospital from July 25 to September 15, 1997. Statistical analysis was done with student t-test and ANOVA using SPSS program. Among total 303 responders, those who aged between 30 and 39 years were 37.2%. Scores for the six questions about weaning policy showed highest in the age group between 30 and 39 years. Higher score was recorded in the more educated group, in those who get informations about weaning diet from books, magazines and pediatricians. The majority of the responders had wrong concepts, such as feeding weaning diet using bottle(69.1%), feeding mixed with formula in the same bottle(64.5%), addition of salt(68.4%). Those who had higher educational level preferred books, magazines rather than neighbors or mother to get informations about weaning diet. Those who preferred books or magazines started weaning, stopped bottle feeding, and used spoon earlier, and their children had unbalanced diet habits less frequently. Home-made food was used most frequently, and commercial products were used less frequently. Those who were employed preferred home-made food rather than commercial products, it may be caused by the difference of the educational backgrounds from those of the unemployed. In conclusion, most responders ask neighbors and mother to get informations about weaning, and the incorrect knowledge from them could cause inadequate weaning practice and induce bad diet habit in their children. We have to find the reasons why they did not refer books or magazines frequently, and the way to resolve the problem.
