This study was carried out to investigate the Physiochemical Properties of loin and rump in the native horse meat from Jeju. In the analysis of chemical composition of loin and rump, the result showed $72.2\%\;and\;73.8\%$ in moisture content $20.1\%\;and\;21.2\%$ in crude protein, $2.42\%\;and\;3.08\%$ in crude Int and $0.13\%\;and\;0.14\%$ in crude ash respectively. Glutamic acid was 3,275mg/100g and 3,577mg/100g in loin and rump each and it had highest result in amino acid analysis. K content was 388.0mg/100g which showed highest result in mineral analysis and next contents were P>Na>Mg>Ca. Oleic acid had highest result in fatty acid composition which were $62.64\%\;and\;63.77\%$ in loin and rump respectively. Cholesterol content of loin and rump were 43.25 and 43.57 mg/100g but showed no significant differences to the part. pH of loin and rump were 5.60 and 5.75 which had no significant differences. Loin had Higher result than that of rump with no significant differences in WHC and springiness of texture analysis. Redness of rump was higher than that of loin. In the sensory evaluation, there were significant differences in the color and odor. Loin had higher result than that of rump in the overall palatability but showed no significant differences. With the result of this experiment native horse meat from Jeju could be understood as good meat resources.

Objectives: In establishing policies for agricultural safety, evaluating injury burdens as well as investigating the rates and characteristics of work injury is important. This study investigated the types and characteristics of agricultural injury subjective burdens. Methods: By analyzing the injured farmers identified in the 2013 Korean Farmers' Occupational Injury Survey, the burdens caused by injuries were categorized using one direct cost item (medical costs) and five indirect cost items (including productivity decreases and wage increases). Statistical differences among the burden items were analyzed using logistic regression analysis according to the characteristics of the farmers and their farm injuries. Results: Among the subjective burdens indicated by the 457 injured farmers, disruption to work was most common. The major influences on each subjective burden item are as follows: for the item of disruption to work, age, time of injury occurrence, treatment period, and farming machine use were influential; for an increased family member's burden of farm works, the number of family members and treatment period were influential. Regarding cost burden of treatment, the results varied according to whether or not the patient was hospitalized and annual income. Conclusion: Subjective burdens induced by indirect costs rather than those induced by direct costs were found to be higher in ratio. In regard to each burden item, the results varied according to the characteristics of the farmers and their farm injuries. To support injured farmer, setting goals to reduce indirect cost burdens and preparing concrete methods is necessary.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of home economics instruction in food labeling using a motivational(ARCS-Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) strategy to increase middle school students' learning motivation, recognition and use of food labels. To achieve this purpose, teaching-learning plans of food label instruction using a motivation(ARCS) strategy were developed over four class periods using a pretest-posttest experimental design. The experiment was conducted across two groups as follows: 4 experimental groups that received the motivation(ARCS) strategy instruction, and 3 comparative groups that received lecture type instruction. The pretest-posttest scores of the experimental and comparative groups were compared. The 203 data of questionnaires for the experiment were analyzed and evaluated by Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA) using SPSS Win 12,0. The results of this study were as follows: First, teaching-learning plans, learning materials, and teacher reference materials for the home economics food label instruction that applied the motivation(ARCS) strategy were developed in five subject areas: nutrition labels, food additives, genetically modified food, irradiated food, and food quality verification labels. Second, students' learning motivation of the two groups showed statistically meaningful differences. Home economics instruction using a motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective in increasing students' learning motivation than lecture type instruction. Third, as a result of ANCOVA which regulated the recognition of food labels in the pre-experimental design, the recognition of food labels in the post-experimental design showed the meaningful differences depending on the instruction style(motivation strategy and lecture type instruction). In addition, comprehensibility, practical use and educational necessity of food label details showed statistically meaningful differences. Home economics instruction using motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective than lecture type instruction in improving students' recognition of food labeling. Fourth, as a result of ANCOVA which regulated the use of food labels in the pre-experimental stage, the use of food labels in the post-experimental stage showed meaningful differences between experimental and comparative groups depending on the instruction style. Therefore, home economics instruction in food labeling using motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective than lecture type instruction in increasing students' use of food labels.
Yellow poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera L.) has low germination rate relatively other species, so the seedling production of Yellow poplar is a hard task. Accordingly this study was conducted to determine the optimal germination conditions for healthy seedling production and to promote survival rate after afforestation. Gemination percentage was examined at different media and seed covering materials using planting flats in the greenhouse. The best germination percentage was observed in sand for media and compound soil for covering materials. But it was time to transplant, seedlings became a poor character (i.e. height, root length, number of root, dry weight) in sand for media. In order to produce healthy seedlings, each different medium was compounded with TKS-2 (this is a gardening bed soil.) in the ratio 1:1 (v/v.), and compared two conditions. Quality of seedling was better than not mixed TKS-2 into each medium. Transplanting seedlings from greenhouse to nursery grew up rapidly 2 months later (early in August~early in October). Growth amount during two months corresponded to 85.6% and 71.3% in total growth amount of height and diameter at root collar, respectively. In the case of the competition-density effect on yellow-poplar seedlings, direct seedling produced the maximum 35 standard seedlings above 8 mm of root collar diameter per $m^2$, while transplanting seedling produced the maximum 64 standard seedlings per $m^2$. And produced seedlings of two way were significantly different rootlet while axial root and lateral root was not significantly different.

To increase the consumption of frying ginseng, we investigated the physicochemical properties of frying ginseng and different edible oils processed through frying ginseng: soybean oil (SO), corn oil (CO), olive oil (OO), and grape seed oil (GO). We tested various parameters, including temperature (130, 160, 180, and $200^{\circ}C$), frying time (2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5 min), and frying amount (up to 30 times). The physicochemical properties of the fried ginseng and oils were evaluated for changes in acid value, peroxide value, free fatty acid content, acrylamide formation, color, and viscosity of oils. The acid value and peroxide value of the oils increased with frying temperature and amount. Saturated fatty acids increased and unsaturated fatty acids decreased with the amount of frying, but oleic acid in CO and GO and linoleic acid in OO increased. The concentration of acrylamide in fried ginseng increased as the frying temperature and amount increased and was the lowest in OO. The lightness and redness of the frying oil color decreased and its yellowness increased in SO and CO, but the lightness increased (redness and yellowness decreased) in OO. In particular, CO was significantly browned with increasing frying amounts. The viscosity of the frying oils increased with frying amount, with CO showing the lowest increases in viscosity of the oils. As a result, the optimal ginseng frying condition found was 2 min 30 sec at $180^{\circ}C$, regardless the type of oils.

This study was carried out to evaluate the yield of cuttings according to the planting and runner releasing times of mother plants in order to raise the cutting seedlings of raising seedling period 75 days or more needed for forcing culture of strawberries to be transplanted into the field around the 15th of September. Three domestic cultivars of 'Maehyang', 'Jukhyang', and 'Kuemsil' were tested. For experiment 1 to determine the yield of cuttings with the change of transplanting time, the mother plant were planted on February 28, March 20, and April 9 in 20 days intervals, and the cuttings were collected two to three times from June 4 to July 1. Experiment 2 was conducted to investigate the yield of cuttings depending on the runner releasing time, the runners were released in three intervals of 20 days, 40 days, and 60 days after planting the mother plant on March 5, and the cutting were collected once to three times from May 29 to June 26. From the comparisons of cutting yield according to the transplanting time of mother plants, February 28 treatment was more 9~25% and 114~165% for each cultivar than March 20 and April 9, respectively (Experiment 1). The yield of cuttings with releasing time 20 days after planting the mother plants had higher by 60~77% and 104~176% for each cultivar than 40 days and 60 days, respectively (Experiment 2). From these results, in case of propagating the seedlings from cuttings needed for field planting around September 15, early planting around in the latter part of February is the best for cuttings yield. In addition, releasing after the removal of the runners produced from mother plants by 20 days after planting gives an advantage over higher yield of cuttings. Consequently, this study suggest to apply an efficient raising seedling system for labor saving and quality improvement in raising seedlings of three strawberry cultivars in Korea.

Mycelial growth of Lentinula edodes on solid or liquid culture media supplemented with differentconcentrations of oak wood vinegar varied depending on the types of wood vinegar or mushroom varieties used.Oak wood vinegar obtained from traditionally carbonizing kiln (TWV) inhibited mycelial growth of L. edodes atthe dilution level of less than $5{\times}10^{-2}$, but stimulated at $10^{-3}$ to $2{\times}10^{-3}$. Wood vinegar from mechanicallycarbonizing kiln (MWV) inhibited at $10^{-3}$, but stimulated at $2{\times}10^{-3}$. In liquid culture media, both wood vinegarinhibited at $5{\times}10^{-2}$, but stimulated at $2{\times}10^{-3}$. Sanjo-302-ho grown in liquid culture media at $2{\times}10^{-3}$, and Sanrim 2and 3-ho grown at $4{\times}10^{-3}$ showed relatively high degree of wood decay (DWD) and growing ability within wood(GAWW) when these isolates were inoculated onto oak wood logs. TWV completely inhibited mycelial growth ofgreen mold fungi, Trichoderma species, tested at $5{\times}10^{-1}$ dilution level, while MWV inhibited at $5{\times}10^{-1}$ to $5{\times}10^{-2}$dilution level. For Diatrype stigma, TWV inhibited mycelial growth at the dilution level of less than $5{\times}10^{-2}$, whileMWV did 80% of mycelial growth at $10^{-2}$, and 100% at $5{\times}10^{-1}$ dilution level. Fresh and dry weight of fruitingbodies harvested after soaking of wood logs into wood vinegar solutions with different concentrations werecompared, and were the highest at $2.5{\times}10^{-2}$ dilution level. Storage test of fruiting bodies at $10^{\circ}C$ for 10 daysshowed that fruiting bodies harvested after soaking in the solution with $2.5{\times}10^{-2}$ dilution level showed the bestfreshness by general test and color changes. In addition, shear force value of L. edodes fruiting bodies measuredby using texture analyzer showed that $2.5{\times}10^{-2}$ dilution level was the best concentration for keeping flesh texture.

To determine the characteristics of four different sweet pumpkins (Minimam, Bojjang, Ajikuroi and Kurijiman), juices were made from these varieties. The carotenoids in the flesh were 1.5~2 times higher than those in the skin and were highest in the flesh of the Minimam pumpkin among all the pumpkin varieties studied. The vitamin A contents were higher in the skin than in the flesh, and Minimam had the highest vitamin A content (2,016.57 IU/100 g) while Kurijiman had the lowest (998.83 IU/100 g). The vitamin C contents varied from 43.21 to 82.35 mg%, but there were no significant differences between the flesh and the skin. That of Kurijiman was the highest among the varieties studied. The major mineral of these varieties was potassium, which was highest in the flesh of Ajikuroi, followed by phosphorus. The antioxidant activities of the sweet pumpkin water extracts were higher in the skin than in the flesh. The $EC_{50}$ of the Minimam skin was the highest (4.01 mg/mL), and that of the Ajikuroi flesh was the lowest. The sweet pumpkin juice yields were 69.5~89.4%, with significant differences shown according to the variety. That of the peeled Ajikuroi's flesh was the highest. The pH was 7.17~7.83, and the unpeeled sweet pumpkin's pH was higher than that of the peeled sweet pumpkin. The Brix degree was $12.5{\sim}16.6^{\circ}Brix$, with that of the unpeeled Bojjang being the highest($16.1^{\circ}Brix$) and that of the unpeeled Ajikuroi the lowest ($12.7^{\circ}Brix$). The sweet pumpkin beverage made with pressed juice was adjusted by pH 3.5 with citric acid, and the Brix degree was maintained at the $12^{\circ}Brix$ with sugar. The adjusted beverage, which was the peeled pumpkin flesh juice, had suspension stability for a short time. The sweet pumpkin beverage had a certain flovor and a slimy mouthfeel. Bojjang and Kurijiman were evaluated as the best in the terms of taste and color, but the peeled Minimam and Bojjang showed the best results overall.

This study was initiated to investigate thatch accumulation in several turfgrasses grown under two soil systems. The 45 centimeter deep USGA system was constructed with rootzone, intermediate and drainage layers. The mono-layer system, however, was made with only a 30cm rootzone layer. Turfgrasses used in the study were comprised of 3 varieties from Korean lawngrass of Warm-Season Grass(WSG) and 3 blends and 3 mixtures from Cool-Season Grass(CSG). A total of 9 turfgrass treatments were replicated three times in RCBD in both systems. Cultural practices for the research plot followed a typical maintenance program for highly managed turf. Treatment differences for thatch accumulation were observed among the turfgrasses in both soil systems. Thatch under the USGA system was 9% greater than under the mono-layer system due to its more favorable conditions for turf growth. Higher thatch depth was found with Korean lawngrass, 34~87% in the USGA system and 16~75% in the mono-layer system when compared with CSG. Among WSG, the Joongji variety was the highest in thatch layer under both the USGA and mono-layer systems. Kentucky bluegrass(KB) was the greatest among CSG, since it is a rhizomatous-type in growth habit, resulting in faster production of organic matter over bunch-type of tall fescue and perennial ryegrass. Proper depth in the thatch layer was known to be beneficial by enhancing the resiliency and wear tolerance of the turf in athletic fields. Thus, KB was considered to be a very excellent turfgrass in terms of turf quality, environmental performance, physical properties and soccer player safety. However, disadvantages such as poor water-holding properties, more inclined to injury from environmental stresses and severe diseases and insect injury were also expected where thatch was excessively accumulated. Therefore, these results demonstrate that more frequent measures for controlling thatch such as vertical mowing, topdressing or coring should be employed for soccer fields with Korean lawngrass and KB over other turfgrasses.
The effect of three different light qualities on growth, photosynthesis, quality and safe parameters of hydroponic cultivated spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) were investigated indoor. Three different light qualities were created of red (660 nm), blue (450 nm) and green (550 nm) LEDs corresponding at ratio R660/B450 = 4/1 (RBL); R660/B450/G550= 5/2/3 (WWL); R660/B450/G550 = 1/1/1 (WL), which were tested at the same intensity (PPFD =190 μmol m-2 s-1). The results showed that the plant height and leaf number were the lowest in WL treatment. The SPAD, Net photosynthesis rate Pn, Fv/Fm, Leaf area index LAI values and all parameters of root characteristics were the highest in RBL treatment and were significantly different from two others. Fresh weight of stem, leaf and root, dry weight of root in the three light qualities were significantly different. In contrast, the highest K+ content in WL was different from WWL and RBL treatments, while Ca2+ and Fe2+ content were the highest in the RBL treatment. Vitamin C content was significantly different between the three treatments. nitrate and oxalic acid contents were the highest in WL treatment, whereas soluble-solids contents and vitamin C contents were the highest in RBL treatment. Oxalic acid, nitrate contents were observed tending reduced under WWL although oxalic acid content in RBL treatment was not different from WL and WWL treatments. In all three different light treatments were not detected Salmonella, E.coli. Our results suggest that RBL may be appropriate light for growth of spinach, but supplementary green light to a combination of red and blue LEDs at the reasonable rate can change the quality of spinach in a positive direction. Hydroponic cultivated spinach was safe for users.

② 상기 이용제한 규정에 따라 서비스를 이용하는 회원에게 서비스 이용에 대하여 별도 공지 없이 서비스 이용의
일시정지, 이용계약 해지 할 수 있습니다.
제 17 조 (전자우편주소 수집 금지)
회원은 전자우편주소 추출기 등을 이용하여 전자우편주소를 수집 또는 제3자에게 제공할 수 없습니다.
제 6 장 손해배상 및 기타사항
제 18 조 (손해배상)
당 사이트는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 당 사이트가 고의 또는 과실로 인한 손해발생을 제외하고는 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.
[부 칙]
1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
