The present study examined the usability of the web site design, focusing on the cognitive characteristics of the WWW. Specifically, we conducted two major non-experimental usability testing methods on the domestic web sites with various purposes. In research I. we used an on-line questionnaire method on 12 domestic web sites. As a result. several critical usability features and factors were identified. In research 2. we carried out a heuristic evaluation method to identify more specific usability problems The result of research 2 suggests that the heuristic evaluation method reveals more specific problems of the web site design than the questionnaire method.

This study is an online survey user experience study. The purpose of this research is user experience research to make use and development of online surveys. In-depth interviews were conducted with 8 native Koreans who were not experienced with Naver and Google, and were surveyed using Peter Morville's Honeycomb model. In addition, we performed evaluation through tasks and think-aloud. Naver is highly useful, usable, desirable and findable, and Google can confirm its superior accessible and flexible. Research has shown that improvements in usability and ease of functioning are needed by reclassifying and moving menu categories. Online survey user experience that has not been studied previously can predict the direction of usability improvement and can help the user side. We hope that this research will improve the usability of online surveys, and will lead to various related research.

대부분의 갈등해소에 관한 연구들은 갈등해소방법 사용의 상황에 따른 일관성을 미리 가정하고 있다. 그러나 몇몇 연구에서 갈등해소방법에 있어 성격의 효과와 함께 상황적 효과가 있음을 보고하고 있다. 아직까지는 갈등의 쟁점, 감정, 관련 인물과 이들의 상호작용을 고려한 갈등해소방법의 일관성에 관한 연구가 부재한 실정이다. 본 연구는 상황에 따른 갈등해소 방법 선택의 일관성의 수준과 결혼 적응도에 있어서의 이들의 영향을 조사하였다. 나아가, 갈등해소의 과정 및 절차를 관찰하였다. 350쌍의 한국 부부들에게 설문조사(1차연구)를 실시하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 50쌍을 선발하여 갈등해소 과정을 관찰하였다(2차연구). 설문조사 결과에 의하면, 쟁점의 종류나 관련 대상에 따라서는 비교적 일관성 있는 방법을 사용하였으나, 감정상태에 따라서는 비 일관적인 해소방법을 사용하였다. 안정형 애착유형자는 건설적 해소 방법을 사용하는 반면, 불안정 애착유형자는 파괴적 또는 회피적 해소방법을 사용하는 경향을 보였다. 관찰 연구 결과에 의하면, 건설형 및 회피형 사용자는 설문조사와 관찰연구에서 일관성 있는 행동을 보였으며, 파괴형 해소방법 사용자는 설문조사와 관찰연구에 있어 일관성이 결여되어 있었다. 갈등해소의 과정, 즉 시작, 진행, 종료에 있어 유의한 타이가 발견되었으며, 이것이 결혼 적응도에 영향을 주었다. 연구결과들은 갈등해소와 결혼 적응에 관한 이론과 연계되어 논의되었다.

온라인 사용자 조사는 전통적인 사용자 조사 기법의 단점인 높은 사용자 평가 비용, 긴 조사 기간, 평가 장소의 제약 및 사용자 대표성 등을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 대안으로 인식되고 있다. 온라인 특성 상 동시에 수백명의 응답자가 접근 가능하기 때문에 조사 기간을 단축 할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 상대적으로 많은 응답자의 정보를 수집할 수 있으며, 응답자가 편리한 공간에서 응답자 스스로 질문을 읽고 응답하기 때문에 생각할 여유를 더 많이 제공한다는 장점이 있어 전통적 사용자 조사 기법의 대안으로 많이 활용되고 있다. 특히 시스템의 발전으로 실제 제품 사용 사례를 사진으로 보여주거나 사용자가 직접 조사 시스템상의 에뮬레이터 활용을 통해 직접 제품사용과 유사한 경험을 제공하고 있어 평가 영역 또한 기존 직접 평가와 거의 유사하게 확장되고 있다. 하지만, 설문 응답자에 대한 신원확인 및 온라인 상에서 성실과 활동 수행 등 온라인 사용자 조사시의 신뢰도를 보장한 수 없다는 점과 온 라인 사용자 조사의 수행 결과가 기존의 직접 평가수행 결과와 동일한지에 대한 보장이 없다는 것이 온라인조사시스템 활용의 가장 큰 제약이다. 본 연구를 통해 온라인 사용자 조사의 효용을 높일 수 있는 접근 방법을 제시하기 위하여, 먼저 온라인 설문 조사에 적합한 휴대폰의 사용성 문제 특성을 정의하고, 특성에 대해 효과적인 조사 결과를 도출하기 위한 고려 요소들을 기술하다. 이와 더불어 온라인 설문 조사가 기존 전통적 조사의 대안이 아닌 새로운 효용을 가진 조사 기법으로서 활용 가능성을 주기적으로 제시함으로써, 온라인 사용자 조사에 적합한 설문 항목의 특성을 정의 및 확장하고자 한다.

This research evaluates the serviceability of ZigBee device that provides a potential technology to realizing the ubiquitous computing by improving the productivity and effectiveness in construction and data acquisition. Literature review was conducted in various application areas such as bridge monitoring, slope management, road management, highway traffic control. In addition characteristics and challenges in various wireless technologies are described to identify their adoptability to construction environment. Among them, ZigBee technology was selected to introduce the functionality on hardware, network, and security. Then, questionnaire survey was implemented by four different group, construction engineers, students, hardware developers, and researchers to explore the success and failure factors of ZigBee technology in construction area. The results proposes a guideline of the applicability of ZigBee technology in the area of serviceability, application area, considerations, and future direction. This paper would provide valuable information for future researches and technology development in designing the wireless sensor network applications.

This study was conducted to improve the convenience of design of mobile VR devices use in a way binds smart phones. Research on traditional mobile VR devices is insufficient. So the first survey was conducted on users 100 to understand the current status and status of mobile VR devices. As a result, it was found that the satisfaction with the convenience of use was significantly lowered, and countermeasures were needed. Then, a second survey of 30 Heavy Users was conducted to find out specific usability and problems of mobile VR devices. Through this, problems, ease of use, and other opinions of mobile VR devices were found. The survey results were analyzed through the Descriptive Statistics Act, and it was found that improvement was urgent due to low satisfaction with wearing and network. In-depth interviews were conducted with the same respondents. As with the problems derived first, problems such as wearing satisfaction, excessive head weight for long-term use, and lack of content could be found. Based on the previous studies, the focus group interview consisting of 6 experts derived the ease of use evaluation element. It consists of elements that can satisfy the convenience of use of mobile VR devices for creation, wearing satisfaction, network, morphology, learning, and spatiality, and has a total of 26. Using this evaluation elements, it is intended to provide better ease of use to users who will use the mobile VR device.

본 연구의 목적은 설문조사기법을 통하여 경찰의 휴대용 장비의 사용실태를 조사하여 경찰의 작업부하 (work stress)를 가중시키는 장비와 설계요소를 규명하는데 있다. 또한 인간공학적 측면에서의 장비분석을 통 하여 경찰 임무 수행능력의 제고와 경찰의 사기전작에 기여할 수 있는 사용자 중심의 휴대용 장비개발의 필요성 을 제시하였다. 현대사회에 있어서 경찰은 타 직종에 비해 그 작업부하(work sterss)의 수준이 매우 높으며, 더 우기 다양한 원인에 의한 재해 가능성 또한 커서 위험한 직업으로 평가 된다. 이러한 이유로 인해 상당수의 경찰 관등이 여러 직업성 질환에 노출되고 있다. 설문조사 분석결과, 현재 사용되고 있는 휴대용 장비 중 무전기, 경찰 혁대, 경찰단화, 정모, 근무복, 우의, 신호봉 등 7가지 조사대상 장비 모두가 사용이 불편한 것으로 나타났고, 이 러한 불편함으로 인하여 사용자의 대부분이 신체적 불편함을 경험한 것으로 조사되었으며, 이외에도 발바닥, 머리, 다리 및 무릎 등의 부위가 불편한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 임무수행시 현재 사용되고 있는 휴대용장비가 기동성에 장애를 주며, 근무의욕 및 사기에도 크게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 사용성 테스트와 사용자 설문조사 단계를 거쳐 고연령계층 사용자를 고려한 통합 리모컨 버튼 레이아웃을 도출하여 고연령층의 사용편의성이 반영된 리모컨의 사용성을 향상시키고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 일차적으로 신체, 인지심리적인 고연령층의 인간요소(human factor)들을 추출한 다음, 고연령계층 중 연령대별 남녀 사용자를 모집하여 현재 사용되는 기존의 리모컨으로 사용자에게 과제를 부과하여 사용성 테스트와 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사용성 테스트 결과를 중심으로, 통합 리모컨 버튼 레이아웃 디자인 시 반영되어야 할 필수 기능 버튼의 도출과, 버튼 배열의 최적화된 모델을 제시 할 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 과정을 통해 UI 디자인 시 지켜져야 할 세가지 요소인, 연관있는 기능의 동일요소 부여로 동작의 상호 의사소통을 고려해야한다는 것(유사성)과 유사기능간 근접배치로 사용자가 동작할 수 있는 버튼을 쉽게 이해하도록 해 주어야 한다는 것(근접성), 그리고 예상되는 연속 동작의 기능을 동선을 고려해서 배치해야 한다는 것(연속성)을 확인하였다. 마지막으로, 한 가지 기준에 의한 일률적인 버튼 배열보다 사용자의 요구사항과 인지적 한계를 반영한 그룹핑을 고려한 버튼 배열이 사용성을 높이는 중요한 요인이라는 것을 알 수 있었다.

학령인구의 감소에 따른 대학 구조개혁에 대한 경쟁력 강화 방안의 일환으로 각 대학에서는 다양한 설문조사 및 만족도 조사를 시행하고 있다. 그러나, 대부분의 대학은 설문조사의 통합 관리체계 및 운영 방법의 효율성 그리고 활용 방법에 대한 고려 없이 업무별, 시스템별, 다양한 인터넷 무료 설문조사 시스템을 사용하고 있어 체계적이고 효율적인 설문 관리가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 대학 내에서 운영되는 모든 설문조사 업무를 통합 관리할 수 있는 권한 모델을 설계하고, 자료를 체계적으로 저장할 수 있는 구조를 만들어, 축적된 데이터에 대한 시계열분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석이 가능한 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 학교의 설문조사 업무를 효율화하고, 대학에 필요한 다양한 분석 방법을 제공하여 대학의 발전에 기여 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

To accomplish the educational objectives of a department, a system for CQI(Continuous Quality Improvement) is necessary. Improving the educational system by survey analysis is one of the most important factors for accomplishing the educational objectives. In general, survey analysis is carried out by using statistical distribution on an attribute or correlation analysis between two attributes. However, these analysis schemes have a limitation that they cannot find relations among various attributes. In this paper, an in-depth survey analysis method applying data mining techniques is presented. Data mining is a technique for extracting interesting knowledges from a large set of data. Survey from undergraduate students in the School of Computing of Soongsil University is analyzed in this paper by using a data mining tool, called Clementine. Results of Clementine analysis show the relationship between 'grade', and other attributes hierarchically, and provide useful information that can be applied in student consulting and program improvement.
