A Study on Aleatorism of Frontal-Flat Camera Angle (정평면적 카메라 앵글이 갖는 우연성에 관한 연구)

  • This research is about effects which frontal-flat cameras have on narrative films. This kind of confined camera angles make the audience have a sense of tension which is barely defined logically. I think the tension comes from aleatorism. The paper is a research on how aleatorism is working on what kind of value, and what kind of effects it has on narrative films. Russian Formalism had argued they had to meet aesthetic values by totally excluding narratives. It can be said that this was a practice for Brecht's estrangement that a sensitive arousal prohibits the audience immersing into excessive empathy and then make them have a reflective thought. But occasionally, optical arousals in narrative films induce deeper immersion into contemplation rather than reflective thought. I intend to find cases regarding this textualising Front-flat camera angles in narrative films and analysing their contents. To do this, I suggest a more specified definition of 'aleatorism'. Because the concept of the aleatorism is different between an aspect of static image like paintings or photographs and narrative contents like cinema. It is divided into approach through form and approach through content. And I also suggest an operative definition about 'Frontal-flat camera angle' with a several confinements because its formal definition is very flexible depending on audience. The case analysis will be done with a form of discourse discerning two aspects of form and content. Conclusively, Frontal-flat camera angle in narrative film is basically have an effect of attention by optical stimuli. But it cannot be said that this always means deterioration of narrative value. Depending on causality of episodes in the whole story, aleatorism which Frontal-flat camera angle has can support immersed contemplation regarding following narrative rather than reflective thought regarding amusing aesthetics.

스퍼터링 소스를 이용하여 빗각 증착되어진 TiN 박막의 형상 및 특성 연구

  • 빗각 증착이란 입사 증기가 기판에 수직하게 입사하는 일반적인 공정과는 다르게 증기가 기판의 수직선과 $0^{\circ}$이상의 각을 갖는 증착 방법을 의미한다. 본 연구는 공정 압력이 비교적 높은 스퍼터링 공정에서 빗각 증착을 실시하여 코팅층의 구조제어가 가능한지를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 조직의 치밀도 향상을 통한 특성 향상을 위해 TiN 박막을 제조함에 있어서 빗각 증착 기술을 응용하여 단층 및 다층 피막을 제조하고 그 특성을 비교하였다. 스퍼터 소스에 장착된 타겟의 크기는 6"이며, 99.5% Ti 타겟을 사용하였고, Ar 가스 분위기에서 기판으로 사용된 Si(100) 위에 코팅하였다. 기판과 타겟 간의 거리는 10 cm이며, 기판은 알코올과 아세톤으로 초음파 세척을 실시한 후 진공챔버에 장착하고 < $2.0{\times}10-5Torr$ 까지 진공배기를 실시하였다. 진공챔버가 기본 압력까지 배기되면 Ar 가스를 주입한 후 RF 파워에 약 300V의 전압을 인가하여 글로우 방전을 발생시키고 약 30분간 청정을 실시하였다. 기판의 청정이 끝난 후 다시 < $2.0{\times}10-5Torr$까지 진공배기를 한 후 Ar 가스를 주입하여 TiN 코팅을 실시하였다. 빗각 증착을 위한 기판의 회전각은 $70^{\circ}$, $80^{\circ}$$-70^{\circ}$, $-80^{\circ}$이며, TiN 박막의 총 두께는 약 $3.5{\sim}4{\mu}m$로 유지하였다. 스퍼터링을 이용한 TiN 박막의 빗각 증착 코팅을 실시하였으며, 공정조건에 따라 주상정이 자라는 모습과 기울어진 각도가 다른 구조를 갖는 박막이 제조되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 빗각증착을 실시하는 중에 기판 홀더에 약 -100 V의 전압을 인가하면 인가하지 않은 막에 비해 치밀한 박막이 성장한다는 사실을 확인하였다. 박막의 성능향상을 위하여 스퍼터 시스템에서 빗각 증착을 이용한 TiN 박막 형성을 실시하였다. SEM 단면 이미지에서 확인해본 결과 주상정이 자라는 형상이 공정 압력이 5 mTorr에서 2 mTorr로 낮아짐에 따라 상대적으로 치밀하면서 일정한 형태로 성장하는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 스퍼터링을 이용한 빗각 증착의 Structure Engineering 이 가능함을 확인하였으며 박막의 성능을 향상시키는 기술로서 응용 가능할 것으로 보인다.

Moving Pictogram, a Suggestion for the Digital Native Generation (디지털 네이티브 세대를 위한 제안, 움직이는 픽토그램)

  • The development of technology has brought changes in content media. Starting from voice and sound media in the oral era, through text and painting, the realism has led to the development of visual media plus sound and image media. What we should consider here is not only the one-sided influence of change in the media due to the development of technology, but also the understanding, concentration, and commitment of information depending on which generation has access to the media Therefore, we focus on the digital native generation that uses digital as main media. The features of the digital native generation include the ability to process visual information quickly, multi-tasking, and divisionism. In this paper, we propose a moving pictogram for the digital native generation, and a moving pictogram for exit pictogram which shows limitation. The new dynamic pictograms that fit to the characteristics of the digital native generation, as well as interactive dynamic pictograms, are areas of thought and research on which this paper can be regarded as the first step.

  • In this paper, we evaluate the effectiveness of previous shading algorithms in depicting shape of 3d objects. We perform a study in which people are shown an image of one of ten 3D objects shaded with one of eight styles and asked to orient a gauge to coincide with the surface normal at many positions on the object's surface. The normal estimates are compared with each other and with ground truth data provided by a registered 3D surface model to analyze accuracy and precision. Our experiments suggest that people interpret certain shape differently depending on shading of 3d object. This paper offers substantial evidence that current computer graphics shading algorithms can effectively depict shape of 3d objects where the algorithms have the properties of lots of tone steps and uniformly distributed tone steps. This type of analysis can guide the future development of new CG shading algorithms in computer graphics for the purpose of shape perception.

  • This study aims to investigate the settling velocity of aggregates of cohesive sediment (floc) and its relationship with sediment size, density and fractal dimension. A system of commercial camera and macro-lens is used for the experiment. Through the image-analysis technique, the image taken by the camera system is analyzed. For the experiment, kaolinite and a natural sediment sampled at Lake Apopka in Florida have been tested. From this study, it is known that kaolinite and Lake Apopka sediments show different behaviors mainly depending on the organic matter content. Samples of kaolinite with less organic contents show a more definite trend to follow a fractal theory and relatively strong relationships between the settling velocity, density, fractal dimension and floc size compared to the Lake Apopka sediments rich in organics.

  • Small and medium-sized companies lack countermeasures to secure the safety of a information system. In this circumstance, they have difficulties regarding the damage to their images and legal losses, when the information is leaked. This paper examines the information leakage of the system and hacking methods including APT attacks. Especially, APT attack, Advanced Persistent Threats, means that a hacker sneaks into a target and has a latency period of time and skims all the information related to the target, and acts in the backstage and neutralize the security services without leaving traces. Because he attacks the target covering up his traces not to reveal them, the victim remains unnoticed, which increases the damage. This study examines attack methods and the process of them and seeks a countermeasure.

  • Recently, with the popularization of smartphones, augmented reality has become even more familiar to the public as an application that can provide realistic images as a tool for location-based services. Therefore, as a location-based application for smartphones that is appropriate for the application of augmented reality technology, the study develops a golf information system. Golf is the sport for which we should exactly know the accurate shape or distance to the destinations or obstacles, so the sport is suitable for applying the augmented reality technology. Even though the sport of golf has constantly increasing population to play it with the popularization of it, presently released golf-related smartphone apps are established as 2D images or in GPS basis; thus, they lack a sense of realism unfortunately. Thereupon, this study develops a golf information system by modifying and complementing usefully Mixare, the open source for augmented reality, for the sport of golf into an augmented reality-based system that can provide various information according to the actual environment of the golf course and describes how to apply it actually to the golf course.

  • An increasing in quantity of multimedia data brought a new problem that expected data should be retrieved fast and exactly. The adequate representation is a key element for the efficient retrieval. For this reason, MPEG-7 standard was established for description of multimedia data in 2001. However, the content of the standard is massive and the approach method is not clear for real application system yet, because of properties of MPEG-7 standard that has to include a lot of potential cases. In this paper, we suggested implementation scheme of retrieval system with using of only visual descriptors and presented the performance results of developed system. From the result of developed system, MPEG-7 VIRS (Video/Image Retrieval System), we analyzed the retrieval results between using individual descriptor and using multiple descriptors, and showed a layout for real application system.

OTFT 소자 성능 향상을 위한 고품질 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane 자기조립단분자막의 제작

  • OTFT소자는 각 박막계면간의 접촉성에 따라 그 성능이 좌우 된다는 것은 널리 알려진 사실이다. 즉 박막계면간의 접촉성 저하는 계면간의 결함을 형성하여 OTFT소자 성능을 저하시킨다. 이러한 결함을 고품질의 자기조립단분자막을 제작함으로써 박막계면간 결함을 최소화 할 수 있다. 이러한 고품질의 자기조립단분자막 형성은 박막계면간의 결함을 최소화 하기때문에 고성능OTFT소자 제작시 박막계면간 접촉성 향상에 효율적으로 적용할 수 있을것이다. 이 논문에서는 계면간의 접촉성 향상을 위해 실리콘 웨이퍼 위에 3-Aminoproplytriethoxtsilane과 용매인 무수톨루엔을 이용하여 고품질의 자기조립단분자막을 제작 하였으며 고품질을 자기조립단분자막 성장 조건을 찾기 위해 엄격한 수분조절 및 APS농도, 담근시간, 온도를 조절하여 각기 다른 조건의 샘플을 제작하였다. 또한 APS성장 분포를 알기위하여 접촉각 측정기를 이용하여 접촉각을 측정 하였고 AFM 이용하여 실리콘 웨이퍼에 생성된 박막의 균질도를 측정하였다. 그 결과 APS농도(33%) 24시간 $25^{\circ}C$, APS농도(33%) 24시간 $70^{\circ}C$, APS농도(33%) 72시간 $25^{\circ}C$, APS농도 (33%) 72시간 $70^{\circ}C$ 샘플이 기존에 알려진 APS 접촉각인 $19^{\circ}C{\sim}21^{\circ}C$ 접촉각이 나왔으며 AFM 이미지 또한 높은 균질도를 보였다. 이 결과 고품질의 APS단분자막은 농도와 시간 그리고 온도에 영향은 받으며 이렇게 완성된 단분자막은 높은 균질도를 가지게 된다. 현재 실험을 통해 얻어진 고품질의 자기조립단분자막 성장 조건을 이용하여 OTFT소자 제작하고 있으며 고품질의 자기조립단분자막 형성에 의해 결함을 최소화 하므로써 박막계면간 옴성결합을 형성하여 OTFT소자의 성능 향상이 기대되어 진다.

  • As times develop, information becomes more diverse and methods of obtaining it become more diverse. About 80% of the amount of information gained in life is acquired through the visual sense. However, visually impaired people have limited ability to interpret visual materials. That's why Braille, a text for the blind, appeared. However, the Braille decoding rate of the blind is only 5%, and as the demand of the blind who want various forms of platforms or materials increases over time, development and product production for the blind are taking place. An example of product production is braille books, which seem to have more disadvantages than advantages, and unlike non-disabled people, it is true that access to information is still very difficult. In this paper, we designed a CNN-based Braille conversion and voice output device to make it easier for visually impaired people to obtain information than conventional methods. The device aims to improve the quality of life by allowing books, text images, or handwritten images that are not made in Braille to be converted into Braille through camera recognition, and designing a function that can be converted into voice according to the needs of the blind.
