The constitution of traditional medicine is distinguished from modern medicine. Sasang medicine describe the constitution which is classified as functional intensity of the lung, spleen, liver and kidney. The functional strength of each part of the human body is not the same in each constitution, and this imbalance is considered as a major factor of the disease. Ayurveda is identified the balance of the three dosha in our body is the basis of health maintenance. The reason for the illness is due to the imbalance among vata which express energy metabolism, pitta which plays a role in metabolism and digestion, and kapha which controls body temperature. The two theories which include knowing the characteristics and trends of diseases according to their constitution, the approach of treatment and the health care of daily life. They are also considered as convergent area about treatment methods in the modern society where individual characteristics and lifestyle are emphasized. The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of constitutional basis for increasing patient satisfaction and to help diversity of treatment in preventive medical area by comparing and analyzing the theory of Sasang and Ayurveda.

개인의 체질에 맞춰 의학적 행위를 시행하는 사상의학은 우리나라 고유의 전통의학으로 가치를 인정받고 있다. 이러한 사상의학에서 가장 중요한 것은 사상체질의 정확한 분류이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 사상체질 분류 방법인 용모사기, 체형기상, QSCCII, 체질침 등이 임상의들의 직관에 의해 행해지고 있다는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사상체질 분류의 정량화 및 객관화를 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 음성 신호 분석에서 발생하는 정보의 출력값에 의해 사상 체질을 분류하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 40대 이상의 장년기 남성을 대상으로 사상체질 전문의의 진단표에서 뚜렷한 특징을 보유하고 있는 집단군을 구성하고 이들의 음성 특성을 분류하여 음성학적 요소를 추출하고자 한다. 또한 출력된 결과값을 토대로 체질 집단별 차이점과 유사성을 분류하여 사상 체질 분류를 행하였다.

사상의학은 개인별 체질의 분류에 따른 맞춤형 의학으로 우리나라 고유의 독특한 전통 의학이다. 이와 같은 사상의학에서 가장 중요하게 여겨지는 것이 사상체질의 정확한 분류이다. 따라서 사상체질 분류에 대한 객관적 요소의 확보 및 진단 지표 마련이 시급하게 해결되어야 할 과제이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사상체질 분류의 객관화, 정량화 및 시각화를 위해 얼굴 영상 신호와 음성 신호를 분석하여 결과값을 추출하고 체질별 집단군간의 차이점을 비교하여 사상체질 분류 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 특히 영상 및 음성 신호는 성별, 연령별, 지역별 등의 구분에 따라 달라지기 때문에 본 논문에서는 40에서 50대 사이의 장년 여성을 대상으로 서울지역 거주자에 한해 사상체질 집단군을 구성하고 이들의 영상 및 음성 신호를 추출하여 체질간 비교, 분석을 수행하고자 한다. 최종적으로 실험을 통한 연구 결과의 유의성을 입증하고자 한다.

Homoeopathy was established in 1796 by German physician Samuel Hahnemann(1755~1843). This method is an alternative form of therapy involving treatment by natural remedies. The basic principles of homeopathic medicine, "Similia similibus curantur", "experimenta in hominesano", "doses minimae" and "unitas remedii", are founded upon the idea of illness as a disorder of the internal equilibrium at the physical, mental and psychic levels. The three distinguishing characteristics of homeopathy are that remedies are prescribed on the totality of a person's symptoms, that the remedy likely to cure a person is a dilution of that remedies are prepared using microdoses of substances which are diluted and then vigorously shaken. This paper describes the basic principled of homeopathy and compared with the Sa-sang constitutional Medicine from the literature. 1. Homeopathy is the holistic medicine that derived from the competition of vitalism and mechanism, and it is the one of natural medicine that absorbed the influence of asian scholarship and theoretical background of oriental medicine. 2. Homeopathic remedy typologies and Sa-sang constitutional Medicine are same in the mind-body correlativity and in-born typologies. 3. In homeopathy, constitutional types are distinguished the variable types with variety of symptoms by the remedy picture, but comparably in Sa-sang constitutional medicine, it is determined only by the constitutional symptoms.

Lee Je-ma created Sasang Constitutional Medicine from the insight of different congenital formation of Viscera which was based on his own Morpho-Imaganary recognition of human beings. The basic principles to understand human beings are as follows. The first, human beings are morphologically figured based on the human nature. The Second, Morpho-lmaganary recognition was the understanding to all the things including human with the rule of society and the relationships. affairs-mind-body-objects. The Morpho-Imaganary characteristics of Sasang Constitutional Medicine are as follows. The first, Sasang Constitutional Medicine recognize the symptoms and diseases as the aspect of structure and function at the same time. The second, it recognize the symptoms and diseases with the viewpoint of Change.
