An RFID system has been widely applied in many areas over the initial SCM application. In the literature enormous RFID applications in healthcare are documented to improve patient safety, patient/provider logistics, and the efficiency of collecting data. Based on the proposed 4-layered RFID system architecture, we introduce a case that implemented an UHF passive RFID-based tracking system in an outpatient clinic. Particularly, we propose a method to process RFID data that contains noise and missing reads. The proposed method for processing unreliable RFID data is capable to locate the tag accurately and provide additional business information. We finally conclude the paper with identifying obstacles and what is necessary to ensure system reliability.

CES(Community Energy System) 마이크로그리드 기술은 에너지 생산/공급 및 소비가 일정 지역에 구역화하여 공급하는 집단에너지사업 중 구역전기사업이 이루어지는 커뮤니티에너지공급(CES) 시설 환경을 기반으로 이루어지는 마이크로그리드 시스템 기술이다. 마이크로그리드 환경을 위하여 CES 시설 환경을 기반으로 신재생발전, ESS 등 분산자원을 추가하고, 내부 전력시스템 개선 및 신규 에너지 서비스 인프라가 추가로 구축된다. 아울러, 이를 기반으로 마이크로그리드 환경에서 제공될 수 있는 에너지 서비스를 제공한다. 본고에서는 이러한 CES 마이크로그리드 기술에 대해 기술하고 최근 이루어지고 있는 CES 마이크로그리드 기술 개발의 사례를 통해 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 찾아보고자 한다.

최근 많은 미국 주정부에서는 재생 전기를 지원할 클린에너지기금을 조성하였다. 이 기금을 현재까지 조성했던 15개 주정부에서는 재생에너지 투자에 대해 1998년에서 2012년까지 35억달러를 조성할 예정이다. 이와 같은 현상은 재생에너지를 위한 진취적인 주정부에게는 새로운 경향이지만, 이 기금들의 초기경험을 보고하고, 공유하려는 노력은 거의 없었다. 클린에너지그룹과 제휴하고 있는 Berkeley 연구실은 이러한 클린에너지 기금의 사용에 대해 보고할 사례 연구를 시작했다. 이 연구의 주요한 목적은 정보의 추가적인 원천을 강조하고, 연락처를 확인하기 위해 주정부의(그리고 몇몇의 국제적인 사례) 클린에너지기름의 혁신적인 프로그램과 관리적인 실제에 대해 간단히 보고한다. 우리의 바람은 이 사례 연구가 새로이 확립된 클린에너지기금의 관리자들에게 유용하고, 신규로 클론에너지기금의 조성하려는 선봉적인 재생에너지 노력에 대한 학습에 관심을 가진 기금관리인에게 도움이 될 것이다라는 것이다. 새로운 몇 개의 사례 연구가 매년 추진될 것이다. 이번에 소개하는 사례는 매사추세츠 주정부의 그린빌딩프로그램으로 그린학교와 그린빌딩을 지원하기 위한 것이다(미 에너지부의 선도적인 클린에너지 기금 연구 보고서 중에서 발췌)

The newly revised bioequivalence guideline of Korea allows the add-on test since July 1, 2008 and some discussion from statistical point of view would be needed for a practical use. The statistical model of add-on test is introduced and its two stage testing procedures are discussed. Meaningful statistical points of the add-on test are delivered through an illustrated example.

The purpose of this study is to design the On-line Insurance Sales Support System using Case-Based Reasoning(CBR). In on-line insurance subscription process, this system provides the personalized insurance payment cases and insurance statistics for customers to entice an insurance subscription. By measuring, specifically, similarities between the user profile and insurance payment cases, it suggests the best insurance payment case which has the highest similarity and reflects the latest in the insurance payment cases. In addition, it serves the insurance statistical information that matches with the attributes of the finally-selected case. These functions can be useful in on-line insurance sales.

제품의 LIFE CYCLE이 짧아지고 있는 추세에 이미 출시된 제품에서 칼라 변경만을 통해 신제품과 같은 효과를 볼 수 있는데 칼라변경은 기능추가나 금형 수정에 비해 상대적으로 비용이 적게 들어가기 때문에 그 효용성은 더욱 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 현재 판매되고 있는 A사의 가습기를 Trend 분석을 통해 칼라와 그래픽 요소의 변경만으로 신 제품화하여 가습기 칼라 변경에 대한 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 디자인 사례연구이다.
