  • 실제의 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 역기전력 파형은 고가의 정밀 서보 전동기를 제외했을 때, 이상적인 사다리꼴이나 정현파의 형태가 아닌 그 형태에 근접한 모양을 갖는다. 하지만 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 운전은 역기전력 파형을 이상적이라고 가정하여 사다리꼴인 경우는 3상 2여자 직류 제어를 하고, 정현파인 경우에는 3상 3여자 교류 제어를 하는 것이 일반적이다. 일반적인 3상 3여자 운전은 3상 2여자 운전에 비해 공간 자계의 높은 분해능을 제공하고, 3상 2여자 운전에서 구조적으로 나타날 수밖에 없는 정류 시의 토크 리플도 발생하지 않는 장점을 갖는다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 위의 두 측면을 고려하여, 즉 이상적인 형태의 역기전력 형태를 갖지 않는 실제 전동기의 특성과 3상 3여자 운전의 특성을 적용하여, 역기전력의 형태에 상관없이 적용할 수 있는 3상 3여자 직류 제어 방법을 제안하고 이에 대한 센서리스 운전을 제안한다.

A study on fatigue crack growth with loading waveform and analysis method for all loading waveform at elevated temperature in SUS 304 stainless steel (SUS 304강의 하중파형에 따른 고온피로균열전파속도 및 전체하중파형의 평가방법의 연구)

  • The effect of loading waveform on elevated temperature low-cycle fatigue crack growth behavior in a SUS 304 stainless steel have been investigated under symmetrical trangular (fast-fast), trapezoidal and asymmetrical(fast-slow, slow-fast) waveforms at 650.deg. C. It was found that the crack growth rate in fast-slow loading waveform appeared to be higher a little and the crack growth rate in slow-fast loading waveform much higer than that in fast-fast loading waveform, and difference in crack growth rate between fast-show and slow-fast waveforms nearly didn't appear in the region of da/dN>10/sup -2/ The crack growth rate in the trapezoidal loading waveform with t/sub h/=500sec appeared to be faster than that in slow(500sec)-fast(1sec). In addition, parameter modified J-integral could be considered as useful parameter for fatigue crack growth rate in all waveforms. The result obtained are as follow. da/dN=4.91*10/sup -3/ (.DELTA. J/sub c/)/sup 0.565/.

  • 영구자석을 이용한 다상 브러시리스 전동기의 역기전력의 파형은 정현파나 이상적인 사다리꼴 파형과는 다른 형태를 갖는다. 또한 다상 전동기의 경우 상호인덕턴스에 대한 이론적 해석이 쉽지 않아 시뮬레이션을 위한 모델 구현이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 임의의 역기전력 파형을 갖는 7상 영구자석 브러시리스 전동기의 시뮬레이션 모델 구현 방법으로 회로 및 수식 을 기반으로 FEA(Finite Element Analysis)를 이용한 모델을 제안하고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안된 모델의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • In order to improve complicated construction and complex control which are disadvantage of optimal PWM technique aimed at harmonic elimination method, this paper presented MRA(Model Reference Adaptive) PWM technique that gatmg signal of inverter is generated by comparing the reference signal with the induced feedback signal at the reference model of load. Design of controller is composed of microprocessor and analog circuit. MRA PWM technique used in the paper is able to compensate the degradation of voltage efficiency to be generated by the ratio of the output voltage to the DC supply voltage being low for using conventional sinusoidal PWM technique. When the trapezoidal signal is employed as the reference signal. the low order harmonics of line current can be reduced and the switching pattern is made by on-line computation using comparatively simple numerical analysis.

  • The emf of a permanent magnet multi-phase BLAC(Brushless AC) motor is generally a non-sinusoidal or a non-ideal trapezoid wave. So, conventional modeling using a sinusoidal or an ideal trapezoid emf can result in errors to simulate and analyze the properties of a multi-phase BLAC motor. To reduce the modeling error, this paper proposes a phase variable model, which is obtained from a hybrid modeling technique consisting of Finite Element Analysis(FEA) based circuits and equations. Since the phase model parameters including the emf waveform were obtained using FEA, the proposed hybrid modeling technique can be used to implement a simulation model for multi-phase BLAC motors with any emf voltage waveforms. Adequacy of the proposed model was established from the simulation and experimental results for a seven-phase BLAC motor.

  • In this study, the small-scale collision experiments using a pendulum principle were carried out to evaluate the safety of the reinforced concrete building selected as a tsunami evacuation building due to the collision of the waterborne debris represented by ships. The experimental parameters were set as impact velocity, mass and length of the drifted ship. In this paper, the maximum impact force, impact duration, impact waveform and restitution coefficient affecting building response were investigated in detail. As a result, the impact force waveforms were distributed as a triangle in most of the experimental results, but became closer to a trapezoid as the length of the collision specimen increased. This is the very important result in calculating the momentum (impact waveform area) affecting building response, Furthermore, the restitution coefficients were constant regardless of the impact velocity, but they varied depending on the mass and length of the waterborne debris. However, the restitution coefficient for the mass per unit length of the waterborne debris can be evaluated.

  • Micro stepping method is adopted in order to eliminate effectively the resonant phenomena and to increase the positional resolution. Exist micro-step method by using Sinusoidal waveform, drive circuit is complex by using micro controller and ROM, it have fault on cost Increase.   • This paper presents the methods that design the Wavelet-based pitch detector for 2,4 kbps Harmonic-CELP Coder, and that achieve the effective waveform interpolation by decision window shape of the transition region, Waveform interpolation coder operates by encoding one pitch-period-sized segment, a prototype segment, of speech for each frame, generate the smooth waveform interpolation between the prototype segments for voiced frame, But, harmonic synthesis of the prototype waveforms between previous frame and current frame occur not only waveform errors but also discontinuity at frame boundary on that case of pitch halving or doubling, In addtion, in transition region since waveform interpolation coder synthesizes the excitation waveform by using overlap-add with triangularity window, therefore, Harmonic-CELP fail to model the instantaneous increasing speech and synthesis waveform linearly increases, First of all, in order to detect the precise pitch period, we use the hybrid 1st pitch detector, and increse the precision by using 2nd ACF-pitch detector, Next, in order to modify excitation window, we detect the onset, offset of frame by GCI, As the result, pitch doubling is removed and pitch error rate is decreased 5.4% in comparison with ACF, and is decreased 2,66% in comparison with wavelet detector, MOS test improve 0.13 at transition region.

A Study on the New Type Rib of Steel Deck Plates (새로운 형태의 강바닥판 리브에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an economic new type rib by applying plate stiffening methods of the corrugated plate and the honey-comb sandwich panel to the steel deck plate and comparing the new type rib with existing open and closed ribs. The trapezoidal corrugated type, ㄹ type, honey-comb type and ㅁ type ribs are considered as new type ribs and the moment and the steel volume are compared with that of open ribs and closed ribs. The results shows that the honey-comb type and ㅁ type ribs are good in aspects of economic feasibility and the ㅁ type is better than the honey-comb type. To make the ㅁ type rib applicable to the steel deck plate, the sensitivity analysis and parametric study are performed and the system to select the proper section under the particular stress condition is established. The closed rib of real bridges is compared with the ㅁ type rib of the proposed system and it is known that the new type rib is more economic. Therefore, more economic steel deck plates can be achieved by using the system proposed in this study for the plate stiffened with the new ㅁ type rib.

Control Method for Performance Improvement of BLDC Motor used for Propulsion of Electric Propulsion Ship (전기추진선박의 추진용으로 사용되는 브러시리스 직류전동기의 제 어방법에 따른 성능향상에 관한 연구)

  • DC motors are used extensively on shipboard, including as the ship's winch operating motor, owing to their simple speed control and excellent output torque characteristics. Moreover, they were used as propulsion motors in the early days of electric propulsion ships. However, mechanical rectifiers, such as brushes, used in DC motors have certain disadvantages. Hence, brushless DC (BLDC) motors are increasingly being used instead. While the electrical characteristics of both types of motors are similar, BLDC motors employ electronic rectifying devices, which use semiconductor elements, instead of mechanical rectifying devices. The inverter system for driving conventional BLDC motors uses a two-phase excitation method so that the waveform of the back electromotive force becomes trapezoidal. This causes harmonics and torque ripple in the phase current switching period in which the winding wire through which the current flows is changed. Researchers have studied and presented various methods to reduce the harmonics and torque ripple. This study applies a cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter, which implements a proportional-integral speed current controller algorithm in the driving circuit of the BLDC motor for electric propulsion ships using a power analysis program. The simulation results of the modeled BLDC motor show that the driving method of the proposed BLDC motor improves the voltage waveform of the input side of the motor and remarkably reduces the harmonics and torque ripple compared with the conventional driving method.
