New records of three micromoths (Lepidoptera) from Korea (한국산 미기록 3종의 미소나방에 관한 보고 (나비목: 우묵날개뿔나방과, 집나방과, 둥근날개뿔나방과))

  • Three species of micromoths, Acria emarginella Donovan, 1806 (Peleopodidae), Yponomeuta cinefactus Meyrick, 1935 (Yponomeutidae) and Depressaria leucocephala Snellen, 1884 (Depressariidae) are reported for the first time from Korea. These species were collected at their larval stage on the host plants, and reared until their emergence. Images of larvae, pupae, and adults of all species are given, and the male or female genitalia are illustrated.

  • Three species of Gelechiidae, Gnorimoschema streliciellum (Herrich-Sch$\ddot{a}$ffer, 1854), Syncopacma wormiella (Wolff, 1958), and Mesophleps acutunca Li and Sattler, 2012 are reported for the first time from Korea. Specific diagnoses and re-descriptions are provided as necessary, with adult and male genitalia images.

  • A cosmopterigid species, Alloclita mongolica Sinev is reported for the first time from Korea. This is the first record of the genus Alloclita Staudinger for the Korean fauna and the southernmost records of A. mongolica. The collecting data of the species in Korea suggest a habitat association of A. mongolica with coastal sand-dunes. The features of external appearance and male genitalia are described and illustrated for this rare species.

  • During the course of the faunal study of Gelechiidae in Jeju, Korea, totally 12 species were recognized in this study. Of them, three species of Gelchiidae from Jeju Island; Anarsia euphorodes Meyrick, A. protensa Park, and Toronodoxa leptopalta Meyrick, are reported for the first time from Korea. An additional nine species which are known for the first time from Jeju Island are listed with new collecting data.

  • During 1999~2000 expedition to Mt. Changbai-san in China, twenty species of Gelechiidae were recognized. Most of the species, except Anacampsis popullela (Clerk), are known for the first time from Mt. Changbai-san, and nine species are newly known from China. Scrobipalpa atriplicella (Fisher and Roslerstamm) and Anarsia lineatella (Zeller) are unknown species from the Korean Peninsula. A new combination, Carpatolechia dehania (Park, 1993), comb. nov. is given.

  • A new genus, Neochronistis which is closely related to Parachronistis Meyrick and a new species of the latter including two previousely known species are described with illustrations of external characters and male or female genitalia. Also a species of the latter, Parachronistis maritima Omelko is reported for the first time from Korea. Newly described species are Parachronistis geniculella sp. nov. and Neochronistis hodgesi sp. nov.
